Production of fresh cayenne pepper with stalks in 2014 in Prov. Gorontalo amounted to 117,719 Quintal. Compared to 2013, there was a decrease in the production of 10,105 Quintal (-7.91 percent). This decrease was due to a decrease in productivity of 3.54 Quintal per hectare (-6.36 percent) and also a decrease in the harvest area of 38 hectares (-1.66 percent) compared to 2013. In addition to the area of low harvest, there are some obstacles, especially pest attacks and diseases that are always the main problem in the event of crop failure.  Pests that attack cayenne pepper plants are whitefly (Bemisia tabacci). Thus, that needs to be done in tackling the pests of whitefly. The study began with a major survey covering data collection and information, field studies, and observations on the attack of whitefly pests on cayenne pepper plants, sampling of whitefly pests, and observed morphine. All quantitative data is inputted into geographic information systems (GIS) as attribute data in the GIS.  Information search and access user information and communication technology through high mobility media such as smartphones. Today's thriving smartphones are smartphones with android operating systems. Android smartphones besides having high mobility, also have very useful features such as google maps and GPS. Google maps and GPS features can collaborate in an android app program creation. Application program creation is designed using android and PHP programming languages collaborated with MySQL databases as data container media. The research aims to create a geographic information system that can help chili farmers and agricultural practitioners to be able to detect early the location of the spread of whitefly (B. tabaci) before there is a decrease in the production and growth of chili pepper crops. The study also aims to analyze and determine the zoning of the spread of whitefly pests on cayenne pepper plants using geographic information systems.

Small and Medium Industry is the program and policy of the Local Government of Gorontalo Province to achieve development goals in the field of economy, especially related to the development efforts of small and medium industry sectors (IKM). The Cooperative, Industrial and Trade Office of Gorontalo Province desperately needs accurate data information for the search and determination of small and medium industry locations and also in terms of regional development planning and spatial arrangement, but in reality, to obtain data and information on the spread of Small and Medium Industry spread almost throughout Gorontalo province is very difficult, this is due to the absence of an information system that handles this. The Government's current geographic information system cannot access the search and location of the Small and Medium Industry. The expansion of the area that occurs in Gorontalo Province from 6 districts, the addition of fickle regions and addresses can confuse and make it difficult for local people or tourists outside Gorontalo province to get information about the small and medium industry in Gorontalo Province. The lack of information to the public about the location of Small and Medium Industry locations in Gorontalo province can make it difficult to conduct cooperation that can drive the regional economy. Para buscar entender a dinâmica, diversidade e movimentação dos ingressos e egressos do Curso de Bacharelado em Sistemas de Informação do Instituto Federal de Minas Gerais - Campus São João Evangelista (IFMG-SJE) é necessário o uso de Sistemas de Informação Geográfica para auxiliar e agilizar o acesso às informações e a tomada de decisão dos gestores institucionais. Dessa forma, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo projetar e desenvolver um Sistema de Informação Geográfica na Web para acompanhamento dos ingressos e egressos do curso Bacharelado em Sistemas de Informação do IFMG-SJE. O sistema possibilitou o acompanhamento dos estudantes por semestre, informando de forma objetiva, rápida e visual as turmas, os status e as cidades dos estudantes, através de filtros estatísticos e informações geográficas. Para a construção do sistema foi utilizado as linguagens de programação Web, a API do Google Maps e a base de dados MySQL. Após o desenvolvimento foram feitos os seguintes testes: unitário, integração, piloto, e usuário. Os testes revelaram que o sistema teve boa aceitação por parte dos usuários, que constataram a relevância do sistema para a instituição. Palavras-chave: SIG na Web. API do Google Maps. Informação geográfica.   Geographic information system on the web: case study of the information systems class of IFMG-SJE Abstract To seek the understanding of the dynamics, diversity and movement of incoming and graduating students of the Bachelor Information Systems Course at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais - Campus São João Evangelista (IFMG-SJE) it is necessary to use Geographic Information Systems to assist and streamline access to information and decision-making by institutional managers. Therefore, it aims to design and develop a Geographical Information System on the Web to monitor the incoming and graduating students of the Bachelor's course in Information Systems of IFMG-SJE. The system finally made it possible to monitor students per semester, objectively, quickly and visually informing student’s classes, status and cities, through statistical filters and geographical information. Web programming languages, the Google Maps API and the MySQL database were used to build the system. After development, the following tests were performed: unit, integration, pilot, and user. After all tests that we have done the system shows that it is working perfectly and it is well accepted by users, who verified the relevance of the system for the institution.  Abstrak:Penilitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan Sistem informasi Geografis Pemetaan Potensi Tanaman Pangan di Kabupaten Pulau Morotai, dilakukan di Kabupaten Pulau Morotai, Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, Metode Analisis Sistem yang digunakan adalah  model driven secara terstruktur dengan pendekatan bottom-up membuat analisa sistem yang berjalan menggunakan alat bantu flowchart serta usulan sistem yang baru menggunakan pendekatan berorientasi objek dengan alat bantu UML, Metode pengembangan Sistem menggunakan Rapid Aplication Development (RAD). The System Analysis Method used is a structured driven model with a bottom-up approach making system analysis that runs using a flowchart tool and a new system proposal using an object-oriented approach with UML tools, System development method uses Rapid Application Development (RAD). The population of Gorontalo city is likely to increase because it is the provincial capital which is the center of economy and business. The increasing number of people is increasing the potential for landfill. some people who are less aware of cleanliness will dispose of garbage indiscriminately if they do not know the nearest landfill from their home. Garbage buildup will pollute the environment so that it can interfere with public health and can also cause problems in the future such as flood disasters. Today's problems are often solved by the use of technology, especially information and communication technology. Waste processing can most likely be overcome by using information and communication technology through high mobility media such as smartphones. Today's thriving smartphones are smartphones with android operating systems. Android smartphones besides having high mobility, also have very useful features such as google maps and GPS. Google maps and GPS features can collaborate in an android app program creation. Application program creation is designed using android and PHP programming languages collaborated with MySQL databases as data container media. The application program will be made reliable to solve the problem of waste processing by utilizing Google maps as a means to see landfills (TPS) and GPS as a means to detect the position of people or places that have garbage. Designed applications are expected to provide information on the nearest landfill (TPS) in the area where people live so that there is no garbage buildup, problems in the future such as health problems and flooding
