The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of constructive learning models on mathematics subjects, the benefits of net media on cube and beam material, students 'problem solving abilities on cube and beam material and the influence of constructive approaches and net media on students' problem solving abilities in cube and beam material in class VIII. The method used in this study is an experimental method that aims to determine the effect of each variable. This study also uses quantitative methods with statistical calculations to get the right and definite results. The results of data analysis using the t test are as follows tcount> t table ie (0.146> 5.25) then H0 is rejected. This means that there is the influence of constructive learning models and net media on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

This purpose of this study are to find out to determine the mathematical problem solving abilities of students using the Team Asissted Individualization learning models; mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use the Direct Instruction learning models; and to find out the better mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use the Team Asissted Individualization learning models with Direct Instruction. This research was conducted by experimental method, using cluster random sampling technique, and after drawing, Class VIII B and Class VIII D were selected as samples. Class VIII D was used as the experimental class I, where the learning used the Learning Team Team Individualization model and class VIII D was used as the experimental class II, where the learning used the Direct Instruction learning model. While the data analysis technique used in this study is the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use The Team Asissted Individualization learning models are better than Direct Instruction Model.

This research aims to examine the differences in the improvement of mathematical problem-solving abilities of MTs students with an open-ended approach and conventional learning. In this research the researchers applied quasi-experimental method, where the samples in this research are students of class VII MTs in Cianjur district and take the subject of students of MTs Tanwiriyyah class VII I a total of 41 students as experimental class who get the learning treatment using the approach Open-Ended and class VII H totaling 40 students as control class that get conventional learning. In this study the instrument that applied the test instrument of the problem-solving ability of mathematics as much as 4 item. The result of N-Gain data analysis using t` test shows students' mathematical problem-solving ability of the experimental class is better than the control class.

This study aims to determine whether the improvement of students' mathematical problem solving skills that get the learning of Model-Eliciting Activities is better than students who get regular learning. Method in this research is experiment and research design pretest and postest in experiment and control class. The population in this study were all students of MTs Kota Cimahi. School samples were taken at random, and obtained by MTs Negeri Kota Cimahi. Then the sample is selected two class VIII at random class. The experimental class uses Model-Eliciting Activities, while the control class uses ordinary learning. The hypothesis in this research is the improvement of student solving abilities of MTs students in Cimahi whose learning using Model-Eliciting Activities is better than using ordinary learning. Research data obtained through the instrument of posttest mathematical problem solving ability. The posttest data is processed by normality test, homogeneity test, and two average difference test using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) software version 16.0 for Windows. The results showed that the improvement of problem solving ability of MTs students in Cimahi whose learning using Model-Eliciting Activities was better than those using ordinary learning.

This study aims to describe the student's ability to solve math problems in the Differential Equation course in Polya's steps. This research is a descrip-tive study. The research subjects were the 6th-semester students of STKIP MPL for the 2018-2019 academic year. Data analysis used processed and pre-pared data, read the entire data, analyzed the detail, implemented the coding process, described themes, interpreted the data. The study found that the easy variable differential equation problems could be separated, 2 students understood the problem, 5 students initiated the solution, 4 students com-pleted through the plan, 2 students checked again, 2 students completed through the plan, no students checked again.

This study aims to describe the ability of communication and problem solving of mathematical students in the material quadrilateral and triangle in class VII in one district of MTs Bandung. This type of research is qualitative research with phenomenology model which aims to interpret communication ability and ability to solve the mathematical problem of students. The subjects of this study were 24 students for communication skills and 25 students for math problem-solving skills. The result of data analysis shows that the mathematical communication ability of grade VII students in one MTs in Kabupaten Bandung is still relatively low with the highest percentage being in the low communication ability qualification which is 37.5%, while for students who have ability is get percentage equal to 29,2% and for students with high communication skills get a percentage of 33.3%, while for problem-solving skills in class VII is quite good with the highest percentage in qualification students with high problem-solving ability with a percentage of 44%, while for qualified students who ability is getting percentage by 40%, and for low qualifications only got a percentage of 16%.. Keywords: mathematical communication ability, mathematical problem-solving ability

AbstrakKemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan bagian dari kurikulum pendidikan matematika saat ini. Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa masih belum optimal, salah satu penyebabnya adalah masih banyak siswa yang menemui kesulitan dalam hal pemahaman konsep dasar. Mengoptimalkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah diantaranya dapat ditempuh melalui pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dan Problem Based Learning merupakan dua dari beragam model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dan Problem Based Learning. Hasil dari penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis antara siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dan Problem Based Learning. Sementara itu, untuk kualitas peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dan Problem Based Learning masing-masing berinterpretasi sedang namun skor perolehan nya berbeda. Secara umum, sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dan Problem Based Learning masing-masing berinterpretasi baik. Abstract (Students’ Problem Solving Ability through Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning)Currently mathematical problem solving ability was a part of mathematics curriculum. In fact, the mathematical problem solving ability of students was not optimized, one of the reasons is there are still many students who have problems in terms of understanding the basic concepts. To optimizing the mathematical problem solving ability of students, it, can be reached by implementing student-centered learning. Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning are two of a lot of student-centered learning models. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference of achievement mathematical problem solving ability between students who get Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning models.  The results of this study are there is not a difference enhancement of mathematical problem solving ability between students who get Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning models. Meanwhile, the quality of enhancement mathematical problem solving ability students who get Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning models are in the middle interpretation. In general, students' attitudes toward learning mathematics using Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning models each in good interpretation.

This study was employed to enhance learning motivation and mathematical problem-solving abilities of class VIII A students of SMP Negeri 7 Purwokerto through SFAE learning with problem-solving strategies. The subjects of this study were 31 students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 7 Purwokerto. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted collaboratively and participative. The action research was carried out in 3 cycles, with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Students were given a questionnaire to measure learning motivation and a test to measure their mathematical problem-solving abilities at the end of each cycle. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The finding showed that implementing of SFAE learning with problem-solving strategies could increase students’ learning motivation and mathematical problem-solving abilities. The study found that (1) The average percentage of the overall learning motivation questionnaire is steadily increased from 61.71% in cycle one to 68.10% in cycle two and 76.03% in cycle three. (2) The average percentage of student tests for problem-solving abilities in cycle one also significantly increases from 35.21% to 53.20% in cycle two and 79.61% in cycle three. The average student test rate for each indicator of problem-solving ability has met the study’s success criteria.

Mathematical problem solving is a problem solving that uses mathematical problem solving. Students in the problem solving did not use the polya method so that students succeeded in difficulties. Educators still use conventional learning models so that students become bored, passive and reluctant to ask whether going forward working on the questions given by the educator, so that new learning models need to be applied. The e-learning learning model assisted with Edmodo learning media is an online presentation material on an Edmodo account using the mobile phone of students. PAM is the knowledge learned by students before getting learning material. This study aims to study the interaction of e-learning learning models assisted by Edmodo learning media to solve mathematical problems. This study is quantitative research. Data collection used with tests, interviews, collection and collection. The data analysis technique uses two-way anava test with cells that are not the same. From the results of the analysis, the influence of the e-learning learning model on mathematical problem solving abilities. It is necessary to question the high, medium, and low mathematical initial knowledge of Great mathematical problem solving ability, then there is no difference between assisted e-learning learning models edmodo, mathematical initial knowledge of mathematical problem solving abilities.

AbstrakRendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa menyebabkan siswa kurang mampu menyelesaikan soal yang bersifat non rutin dan siswa masih kurang mengembangkan ide dan kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model Problem Based Learning berdasarkan Kemampuan Awal Matematika (KAM) siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model Problem Based Learning menjadi lebih baik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-7 SMP Negeri 12 Padang yang terdiri dari 32 orang. Siswa yang awalnya berkemampuan rendah meningkat menjadi siswa berkemampuan sedang dengan peningkatan sebesar 75 %. Siswa yang awalnya tergolong berkemampuan sedang meningkat menjadi siswa berkemampuan tinggi sebesar 26 %. Siswa sudah mampu 1) memahami masalah, 2) menyusun rencana penyelesaian, 3) melaksanakan penyelesaian, dan 4) mengecek kembali jawaban. Analysis of Students' Problem Solving Abilities Based on Early Mathematical Ability AbstractThe lack of students' mathematical problem-solving skills causes students to be less able to solve problems that are non-routine and students are still lacking in developing their ideas and abilities. This study aims to determine students 'mathematical problem-solving abilities through the Problem Based Learning model based on students' Early Mathematical Ability (KAM). The research method used is qualitative. The results of this study indicate that students' mathematical problem-solving abilities through the Problem Based Learning model are better. The sample in this study were students of class VIII-7 Middle School 12 Padang consisting of 32 people. Students who were initially low-skilled increased to moderate-capable students with an increase of 75%. Students who were initially classified as capable were increasing to high-ability students by 26%. Students can 1) understand the problem, 2) draw up a settlement plan, 3) carry out the solution, and 4) re-check the answers.
