Coronavirus RNA-dependent RNA polymerases produce subgenomic RNAs (sgRNAs) that encode viral structural and accessory proteins. User-friendly bioinformatic tools to detect and quantify sgRNA production are urgently needed to study the growing number of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data of SARS-CoV-2. We introduced sgDI-tector to identify and quantify sgRNA in SARS-CoV-2 NGS data. sgDI-tector allowed detection of sgRNA without initial knowledge of the transcription-regulatory sequences. We produced NGS data and successfully detected the nested set of sgRNAs with the ranking M>ORF3a>N>ORF6>ORF7a>ORF8>S>E>ORF7b. We also compared the level of sgRNA production with other types of viral RNA products such as defective interfering viral genomes.

This study aims to determine: (1) Differences in physics learning outcomes between students who are given a website-based formative written test and students who are given a paper and pencil-based formative written test; (2) The effect of the interaction between a website-based formative written test and a written formative test based on a website, paper and pencil, and the level of initial knowledge of physics learning outcomes; (3) The difference in physics learning outcomes between students who were given a website-based formative written test and a paper and pencil-based formative written test in a group of students who had a high level of initial knowledge; and (4 ) Differences in physics learning outcomes between students who were given a website-based formative written test and a paper and pencil-based written formative test in a group of students who had a low level of initial knowledge. This research uses experimental method with treatment by level fixed model design. The population of the entire class VIII of MTsN Batam for the academic year 2010/2011 is 10 classes. The research sample was determined by multi-stage random sampling consisting of 4 classes. Two experimental classes 1 were given a website-based formative written test and two experimental classes 2 were given a paper and pencil-based written formative test. Each treatment consisted of 40 students. The technique of collecting initial knowledge data and learning outcomes data is done by testing. Test requirements analysis was carried out with normality test and homogeneity test. The research hypothesis was tested using two-way ANOVA and further tests were carried out with the Tukey test. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded: (1) Overall, the learning outcomes of students who are given a written formative test based on a website are higher than students who are given a written formative test based on paper and pencil; (2) There is an interaction effect between written formative tests and the level of initial knowledge. on physics learning outcomes; (3) Overall, in the group of students who have a high level of initial knowledge, the learning outcomes of students who are given a website-based formative written test are higher than students who are given a paper and pencil-based written formative test; and (4) Generally Overall, in the group of students who have a low level of prior knowledge, the learning outcomes of students who are given a paper and pencil-based formative written test are higher than students who are given a website-based formative written test. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan hasil belajar fisika antara siswa yang diberikan tes formatif tertulis berbasis website dengan siswa yang diberikan tes formatif tertulis berbasis paper and pencil; (2) Pengaruh interaksi antara tes formatif tertulis berbasis website, tes formatif tertulis berbasis paper and pencil, dan tingkat pengetahuan awal terhadap hasil belajar fisika; (3) Perbedaan hasil belajar fisika antara siswa yang diberikan tes formatif tertulis berbasis website dan tes formatif tertulis berbasis paper and pencil  pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan awal tinggi; dan (4) Perbedaan hasil belajar fisika antara siswa yang diberikan tes formatif tertulis berbasis website dan tes formatif tertulis berbasis paper and pencil pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan awal rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain treatment by level fixed model. Populasi seluruh kelas VIII MTsN Batam tahun pelajaran 2010/2011 sebanyak 10 kelas. Sampel penelitian ditentukan secara  multi stage random sampling terdiri 4 kelas. Dua kelas eksperimen 1 diberi perlakuan tes formatif tertulis berbasis website dan dua kelas eksperimen 2 diberikan perlakuan tes formatif tertulis berbasis paper and pencil. Masing masing perlakuan terdiri dari 40 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pengetahuan awal dan data hasil belajar dilakukan dengan tes. Uji persyaratan analisis dilakukan dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan anava dua jalan dan dilakukan uji lanjut dengan uji Tukey. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data disimpulkan: (1) Secara keseluruhan, hasil belajar siswa yang diberikan tes formatif tertulis berbasis website lebih tinggi dibanding siswa yang diberikan tes formatif tertulis berbasis paper and pencil; (2) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara tes formatif tertulis dan tingkat pengetahuan awal terhadap hasil belajar fisika; (3) Secara keseluruhan, pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan awal tinggi, hasil belajar siswa yang diberikan tes formatif tertulis berbasis website lebih tinggi dari siswa yang diberikan tes formatif tertulis berbasis paper and pencil; dan (4) Secara keseluruhan, pada kelompok siswa yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan awal rendah, hasil belajar siswa yang diberikan tes formatif tertulis berbasis paper and pencil lebih tinggi dari siswa yang diberikan tes formatif tertulis berbasis website.

This study aims at determining university students’ perceptions on the use of Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) in Scouting Course, specifically focusing on the learning effectiveness and interactivity aspects. VLE based learning has been implemented in the even semester of 2020 during the pandemic of Covid-19. This descriptive qualitative study took 40 students of Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang as the research sample. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed positive perception from the students in regard to Scouting Course using VLE, seen from the aspects of learning effectiveness (76.2%) and learning interactivity (80.4%). However, there were some challenges in achieving a more conducive virtual learning environment. For instance, the unstable network conditions, lack of students' initial knowledge of ICT, incompatible devices with the default system of VLE application, and one-way learning (predominantly assignments). Nevertheless, further research on the effectiveness of other VLE applications and student learning strategies are suggested.

ABSTRAKKompetensi dan keahlian guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi sangat diperlukan untuk meraih keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran daring. Meski demikian tidak semua guru mampu cepat beradaptasi dalam menggunakan aplikasi-aplikasi pembelajaran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan serta bimbingan kepada guru agar memiliki kemampuan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dan evaluasi yang menyenangkan berbantukan aplikasi Quizziz. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi 3 tahapan, diantaranya: kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan akhir. Kegiatan awal meliputi observasi dan FGD bersama mitra dan tim, kegiatan inti adalah pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan ketiga adalah tindak lanjut. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan dimana kemampuan peserta pelatihan mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan. Data awal menunjukkan pada aspek pengetahuan awal terhadap aplikasi hanya 13 % diantara mereka yang mengetahui aplikasi Quizziz dan hal tersebut meningkat menjadi 100 % setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan. Selanjutnya pada aspek pemahaman,  sebelum dilaksanakan pelatihan hanya 8% peserta yang memahami aplikasi Quizziz dan setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan meningkat menjadi 70%. Dan terakhir ketertarikan dimana sebelum pelaksanaan pelatihan hanya 26% peserta yang menyatakan tertarik menggunakan aplikasi Quizziz dan setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 89%. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan baik dan berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan minat atau ketertarikan peserta dalam penggunaan aplikasi Quizziz pada pembelajaran. Kata kunci: pembelajaran daring; teknologi pembelajaran, aplikasi pembelajaran; quizziz . ABSTRACTThe competence and expertise of teachers in utilizing technology is needed to achieve success in online learning. However, not all teachers are able to quickly adapt in using learning applications. This service aims to provide counseling and training as well as guidance to teachers so that they have the ability to carry out fun learning and evaluations using the Quizziz application. The method used in this activity includes 3 stages, including: initial activity, core activity, and final activity. Initial activities include observation and Focus Group Discussion with partners and teams, the core activity is the implementation of training, and the third is follow-up activities. The results of this activity indicate where the ability of the training participants has increased very significantly. Preliminary data shows that in the aspect of initial knowledge only 13% of participants know the Quizziz application and eventually it increases to 100% after the training. Next on the aspect of understanding. before the training was carried out only 8% of participants understood the Quizziz application and after the training it increased to 70%. And lastly, interest, where before the training only 26% of participants expressed interest in using Quizziz and after the training increased to 89%. Based on these data, it can be concluded that this service activity went well and succeeded in increasing the knowledge, understanding, and interest of participants in using the Quizziz application for learning. Keywords: online learning; learning technology, learning applications; quizziz

Abstract Current HL pedagogy recommends focus on form approaches (Beaudrie, Ducar, & Potowski, 2014; Kisselev, Dubinina, & Polinsky, 2020) but within this broad category there are many techniques. To date only a few studies have compared HL learning gains on explicit and implicit focus on form instruction, and these have found explicit instruction to be more beneficial. The present study isolated the role of rule presentation on learning gains by comparing Spanish HL learners in a Processing Instruction condition (n = 26) who received rule presentation and explicit information about the target structure (indicative and subjunctive in adverbial clauses of time) prior to structured input, to HL learners in a Structured Input condition (n = 16) who received only structured input. Pretest/posttest/delayed posttest comparisons revealed that both PI and SI resulted in lasting learning gains, as well as a complex interplay between learners’ initial knowledge of the structure and the type of instruction, such that learners with little or no initial knowledge benefited from rule presentation, whereas learners with greater initial knowledge did not. Furthermore, data from think-alouds and retrospective interviews shows that all learners did not process the instruction similarly, and pedagogical implications are discussed.

The article discusses the didactic principles and requirements for the design of electronic educational resources. The requirements are supplemented with new principles and conditions that should be observed when designing an electronic educational resource, contributing to improving the quality of education and its individualization. The principles of metered assistance, control of initial knowledge, interactivity, purposefulness, completeness of the provision of educational material on the discipline, optimal and integrated use of modern computer tools, electronic summary have been described. The didactic conditions necessary for the successful operation of an electronic educational resource, the characteristics of internal and external requirements for learning tools have been indicated, the real didactic possibilities of learning tools have been taken into account.

Education for the younger generation is very important in increasing knowledge, creating creativity, and developing self-potential. Therefore, the Mahkota Kasih Insani Learning House in addition to funding student's schools also collaborates with external parties to provide initial knowledge for students from the foster children of the MahkotaKasih Insani Learning House before facing learning activities at school. The collaboration is carried out by inviting lecturers and students of the Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, UniversitasTarumanagara, Jakarta to share knowledge in the field of accounting in community service activities. The purpose of this activity is to provide training on the introduction of the basics of accounting for students of the Mahkota Kasih Insani Learning House. The activity will be carried out on Saturday, July 3, 2021, offline with strict health protocols. This activity uses training methods regarding the introduction of accounting basics, accounting structures, basic accounting equations, and financial reports, as well as practice exercises about accounting basics. Based on the results of the activity evaluation, it can be concluded that community service activities run smoothly and give a good general impression for students because students can better recognize and understand the basics of accounting that are useful in dealing with learning activities in schools in the field of accounting.Pendidikan bagi generasi muda sangat penting dalam menambah pengetahuan, menciptakan kreativitas, dan mengembangkan potensi diri. Oleh karena itu, Rumah Belajar Mahkota Kasih Insani selain membiayai sekolah siswa juga bekerjasama dengan pihak eksternal memberikan pengetahuan awal bagi siswa dari anak asuh Rumah Belajar Mahkota Kasih Insani.sebelum menghadapi kegiatan belajar di sekolah. Kerjasama yang dilakukan dengan cara mengundang dosen dan mahasiswa Jurusan Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas TarumanagaraJakarta untuk berbagi ilmu dibidang akuntansi dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan dari kegiatan tersebut adalah memberikan pelatihan pengenalan dasar-dasar akuntansi bagi siswa Rumah Belajar Mahkota Kasih Insani. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan pada hari Sabtu, 3 Juli 2021 secara luring dengan protokol kesahatan yang ketat. Kegiatan tersebut menggunakan metode pelatihan mengenai pengenalan dasar-dasar akuntansi, struktur akuntansi, persamaan dasar akuntansi, dan laporan keuangan, serta praktek latihan soal dasar-dasar akuntansi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan, maka dapat disimpulkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berjalan dengan lancar dan memberikan kesan umum yang baik bagi siswa dikarenakan siswa dapat lebih mengenal dan memahami dasar-dasar akuntansi yang bermanfaat dalam menghadapi kegiatan belajar di sekolah dalam bidang akuntansi.

The case COVID-19 in Indonesia is still high. The government has advised people to stay at home. This causes changes in daily habits that affect eating patterns and activity levels. Seeing this reality, COVID-19 health mitigation is needed. This dedication is to increase knowledge and skills regarding disaster nutrition mitigation during a pandemic, which is the main concentration on this issue. The target location for this training is Pasir Putih Village, Sawangan District, Depok, West Java, because West Java ranks 2nd in the Covid-19 case (470). The method used is to identify the problem through a preliminary study, observation and assessment of the initial knowledge and skills of the target, then determine the priority of the problem and then conduct a training program with material according to the priority of the problem. The output of this community service activity was an increase in knowledge of nutritional mitigation, including knowledge of balanced nutrition 86.6% and physical activity 80%. In the nutritional mitigation behavior, there was an increase in balanced nutrition by 76.6% and physical activity by 50%. The nutrition mitigation program is very important to be carried out in a sustainable manner, considering that the number of COVID-19 cases has not decreased significantly and the improvement in mitigation behavior has not increased perfectly. Kasus covid-19 di Indonesia masih tinggi. Pemerintah memberikan himbauan kepada masyarakat untuk tetap di rumah. Hal ini, menyebabkan perubahan kebiasaan sehari – hari yang mempengaruhi pola makan dan tingkat aktivitas Melihat realita ini dibutuhkan mitigasi kesehatan covid-19. Pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai mitigasi gizi bencana selama pandemic, yang merupakan konsentrasi utama pada masalah tersebut. Target lokasi dari pelatihan ini adalah Kelurahan Pasir Putih, Kecamatan Sawangan,Depok, Jawa Barat, karena Jawa Barat rangking ke 2 kasus Covid-19 (470). Metode yang dilakukan adalah mengidetifikasi masalah melalui study pendahuluan, pengamatan dan penilaian pengetahuan dan keterampilan awal sasaran, lalu menentukan proritas masalah dan kemudian melakukan program pelatihan dengan materi sesuai prioritas masalah. Luaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan mitigasi gizi, meliputi pengetahuan gizi seimbang 86,6% dan aktifitas fisik 80%. Pada perilaku mitigasi gizi terjadi peningkatan gizi seimbang 76,6% dan aktifitas fisik 50 %. Program mitigasi gizi sangat penting dilakukan secara berkelanjutan,mengingat kasus covid belum turun secara significant dan peningkatan perilaku mitigasi belum meningkat secara sempurna.
