The scientific approach is an innovative learning process designed specifically for students to actively construct the concept of knowledge through several processes or stages by observing to perform an identification of a problem, and from the results of the observation students are expected to be able to formulate the problem dilajutkan by formulating hypotheses, collect data with various techniques, and analyze data, and draw conclusions and communicate concepts, laws or principles that are "discovered". The application of a scientific approach in learning will involve the skills of the process of observing, classifying, measuring, predicting, explaining, and then concluding. With this saintific approach, it is expected that students will be happy to participate in learning activities and can improve their learning motivation to follow the learning process and will ultimately have an impact on their learning achievement. Motivational factors can be said to be key to understanding the process of self-adjustment, motivation as well as emotional infrastructure needs which are internal forces that cause tension and imbalance in organisms. In general, motivation will not arise, but motivation will rise if there is a great interest, the learning process will work well if all students have a great interest in following the learning process.

Good motivation when you learn it can affect the state of students, that is, from not wanting to take lessons to want to learn. The role of motivation is to encourage individuals to do something in the learning situation.Motivation can occur in a child's life because of the influence in himself to achieve the goals to be achieved and the influence of others, in this case the teacher motivates students. Because of that the teacher must have a big contribution to motivate the child is not wrong, in following the lesson specifically following the Christian Religion Education.First, learning motivation can provide excitement or encouragement to someone in doing work to achieve something in accordance with what is desired and can provide direction for someone to establish learning activities. Secondly, the motivation of an activity contained in a person that can influence his behavior to carry out his learning activities. Third, motivating learning is important in the learning process, because it functions as a driving force, driving, and can direct learning activities, in this case the teacher who plays a role by preparing methods and materials effectively. Fourth, learning motivation has a tremendous influence on learning achievement, both from within and outside of the student's own influence. Fifth, the emergence of student motivation depends on how the role of a teacher in presenting lesson material to students and by using appropriate teaching methods, as well as PAK teachers.

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena aktivitas saintifik peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran belum optimal (70% aktif) dan hasil belajar konsep himpunan belum tuntas klasikal (65% tuntas). Alternatif pemecahan masalah dalam penelitian ini melalui penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis Window Shopping dapat memacu aktivitas saintifik peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah menerapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis Window Shopping untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar konsep himpunan dan aktivitas saintifik peserta didik, serta mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran melalui pendekatan saintifik berbasis Window Shopping. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 24 orang peserta didik kelas VII C SMPN 3 HST Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dan berlangsung dalam 2 siklus dengan empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil belajar diperoleh melalui evaluasi, aktivitas peserta didik diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas saintifik peserta didik, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh dari lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbasis Window Shopping dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar konsep himpunan, meningkatkan aktivitas saintifik peserta didik dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru. Kata kunci: Pendekatan saintifik, window shopping, hasil belajar, himpunan Abstract: This research was conducted because the scientific activities of students in learning process were not optimal (70% active) and the students’ learning achievement of set concept is incomplete classically (65% complete). Alternative solution for the problems in this research is through the application of a window shopping-based scientific approach that can stimulate students’ scientific activities. The purposes of this classroom action research are to apply a window shopping-based scientific approach to improve the students’ learning achievement of set concept and student’s scientific activities, as well describe the implementation of learning through a window shopping-based scientific approach. The subjects in this study were 24 students of grade VII C  SMPN 3 HST in the academic year 2019/2020. This research is a classroom action research in 2 cycles with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Students’ learning achievement data are obtained through evaluation, students’ activities are obtained from students’ scientific activity observation sheet, and learning activities are obtained from learning implementation observation sheets. The results showed that scientific approach based on window shopping can improve the students’ learning achievement of set concepts, increase students’ scientific activity and improve the implementation of learning by the teachers. Keywords: Scientific approach, window shopping, learning achievement, set

AbstractThe suitability of character education with subjects is closely related to the learning process. Achievements are always associated with the execution of an activity or activity. Learning achievement is inseparable from learning activities, because learning is a process, while learning achievement is the output of the learning process. The purpose of this research is to know the big picture contribution of character education and student's learning motivation to student achievement on IPS subject in SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan. Method of analysis descriptive analysis with quantitative approach assisted statistical calculation. The population of this study is all students of SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan academic year 2017/2018. The sample is 71 students. Instruments using questionnaires were analyzed by multiple regression. The results showed that is a contribution of character education and learning motivation to student achievement on social studies subjects in SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan jointly contributed.Keywords: Character Education, Motivation, Learning AchievementAbstrakKecocokan pendidikan karakter dengan subjek erat kaitannya dengan proses pembelajaran. Metode analisis deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif membantu perhitungan statistik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Sampelnya adalah 71 peserta didik. Instrumen menggunakan kuesioner dianalisis dengan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi pendidikan karakter dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Amuntai Selatan secara bersama-sama turut berkontribusi.Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Karakter, Motivasi Belajar, Prestasi Belajar

In the learning process that involves material, methods, media props and so on must also experience changes towards renewal (innovation). Based on the problems seen, it is related to the improvement of Christian learning achievement by applying expository teaching models to grade VI students of SD Inpres Pondang. The purpose of this study in order to determine the increase in Christian learning achievement after applying expository teaching model. In this study using action research and data obtained from formative tests, observation sheets of teaching, and learning activities of students. The results of the study found that student achievement has increased from cycle I (51%) to cycle II (89%). Through this research, it can be said that the expository teaching model can positively influence achievement, interest, attention, and participation, learning motivation of SD Inpres Pondang students, and this learning model can be used as alternative learning of Protestant Christianity.

The low learning motivation of students in the learning process. The initial motivation of students is 69% (less), namely out of 14 students, only four students meet the indicators of success. It is because teachers still dominate teaching and learning activities so that learning is teacher-centered. In the learning process, some students did not pay attention to the lessons given by the teacher. This study aims to determine the increase in motivation and learning achievement of students through the cooperative model of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions type assisted by audio-visual media. This type of research is classroom action research. The research procedure was carried out in two cycles. The source of the data taken is the entire class V, totaling 14 students. Data collection methods used are documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed an increase in student motivation. Students' learning motivation in the first cycle reached 74% (enough) as many as 8 students had met the success indicators, and in the second cycle, it was 81% (good) as many as 12 students had met the success indicators. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Student Teams Achievement Divisions type cooperative model can increase students' motivation and learning achievement.

This study aims to find out how the influence of learning motivation on student achievement in school. This research is focused on the teacher's role in fostering student learning motivation. This motivation is very important for improving student learning achievement. Because as is well known, student motivation in learning is lacking. This will affect its success in learning. For this reason, there is a need for efforts by teachers to increase interest in learning and motivate students to be more enthusiastic about achieving in school. The approach taken in this journal research is the approach (library research) which uses literature as its object. From the research of several literatures, the results of this study indicate that learning motivation has an influence on student learning activities, especially on student achievement. The higher the student's motivation, the better the learning achievement. Vice versa, the lower the motivation of student learning, it will be difficult for these students to achieve achievement in learning. The teacher also has a very important role and has an influence on student motivation in school.
