Merchant is a business entity in cooperation with banks in the provision of payment. To the northSumatran region has 33 districts of the city and a population of 13,937,797 inhabitants. Each citydistrict has a variety of merchants that built on each corner or side of the road with a data sample of1,383 users. To search for users based on their behaviours be competitive merchant who takes thesimilarity of some objects. The similarity involves characterizing each object or expounds tour- tour ofthe object. How to measure the similarity to characterize each object resulting in the naming andweighting. The way it is made by comparing to what is common and what is different from the object.Results will be achieved in the form of a method of similarity to look for in a merchant's customerbehavior that competitive advantage

On one of my last days in Guanajuato, I visit the botanical garden and nature reserve, El Charco Ingenio, outside San Miguel de Allende. Driving from Ciudad Guanajuato, I climb up from the city (2,000 meters), through the mountains, rising up into the woodlands of pine and live oak (2,500 meters). This is likely the route Sessé and Mociño followed as they searched these mountains for plants they had not yet collected. The scent of pines is strong and sweet, the road narrow and twisting. I catch glimpses of the rocky soils of eroding lava cores until, once through the high pass, the terrain slowly morphs into savanna plains starting back around 2,000 meters. My colleague, geographer Karl Butzer, described this terrain as “Rough hill country and uplands, normally formed by ignimbrites tuffs with duricrusts, or lavas, appears to have had a medley of vegetation types, with scattered woodlands of mesquite or acacia, probably open” (1997, 162). This chapter explores the drivers’ role in knitting together Bangkok’s territory, its daily activities, and its dwellers. It analyzes their everyday life as urban infrastructure and as producers of the channels through which the city circulates. This position requires the drivers to adjust and synchronize to the multiple rhythms of nature, urban capitalism, and city life. Bangkok is the product not only of epochal processes of construction, destruction, and layering but also of continuous assembling and reassembling through the actions of a variety of networks and actors. The drivers are pivotal to this everyday production and, as they weave the city together, they strive to move their own lives along the channels they create. Sometimes they succeed and set their own futures in motion. At other times they do not, and they find themselves stuck and exhausted at the side of the road, ready for their last ride all the way back to small, cramped rooms in the urban periphery.

In the first number of Greece and Rome Mr. Symonds reminded us that the bearing of art and archaeology on literature can be studied by visits to sites and museums, and suggested that ‘even a holiday expedition to the Roman Wall is not beyond the bounds of ambition’. Indeed, once Newcastle or Carlisle is reached the motor-car has made a trip to the Wall a simple matter. A cursory visit starting from Newcastle takes but a few hours. A twenty-mile drive over the West Turnpike, Wade's Road as it is popularly called, along the line of the Wall with the earthworks visible for most of the way and a fragment of the Wall itself to be seen not far from the city boundary, brings us to Chesters. Here is the camp, or more properly fort, of Cilurnum, the fort baths, the bridge abutment, and the museum. After Chesters we travel a further ten miles. A substantial length of the Wall is soon seen on the right, while the earthworks line both sides of the road for most of the way, and at Limestone Bank are cut through solid rock. Then with less than half a mile's walk across the fields we come to Housesteads. Here we can see the fort of Borcovicium (or Borcovicus), and then walk a few hundred yards to the west to see a milecastle and get the well-known view of the Wall at Cuddy's Crag. If the start is from Carlisle the mileage is more, Housesteads being about half-way to Newcastle but Chesters ten miles farther east. If we come from the south by road we may leave the North Road at Durham and travelling by Lanchester, Consett, and Corbridge (Corstopitum), join the West Turnpike at Portgate where the Roman Road of the first of the Antonine Itineraries passed through the Wall on its way to the Cheviots and Scotland: or we may turn off earlier and make for Teesdale and Alston, to join the West Turnpike three miles north of Haltwhistle.

One of the steps that taken by the Government of Tarakan City in supporting the development of the city is by the way of developing transportation of infrastructure in the form of a road network that aims to provide accessibility, for making it easier for people to do the movement. This study aims to find out the sale value of land for connection with the accessibility of the road and to know the accessibility factor of the road that has the most influence on the sale value of land in the city of Tarakan. Sampling was conducted on three streets namely, Yos Sudarso road, Mulawarman road, and Sudirman road as the location of this research. From the data that obtained were analyzed by using statistical analysis that using by multiple regression. For this analysis shows that the results of 70.6% of the variable sale value of land can be explained by the intensity variable of city transportation. The most influential accessibility factor of the sale value of land is the intensity of city transportation, which every addition of public transportation 8 vehicle / hour will increase the sale value of land amounted to Rp. 394,527.40 per m².

As part of a comprehensive archaeological survey of the area around the site of Glac, near ancient Sirmium, a detailed examination has been undertaken of the location of the via militaris from Sirmium to Bassianae in light of previous studies and new field surveys. In locating the road, the questions of the findspot of two Roman milestones, the location of the eastern gate of the city of Sirmium, the nature of road way stations including mutationes, and the likely location of the way station at Fossae mentioned in the Bordeaux Itinerary and Ravenna Cosmology have been considered. The implications of the road construction on the patterns of rural settlement and economy in the Glac Study Area are highlighted.

Jalan Temanggung Tilung is a 2/2 UD type road (two undirected two-way lanes) with a road width of 5.5 meters, which is a connecting road between two major roads, namely the RTA road. Milono and the path of G. Obos. Over time, the volume of traffic through these roads increases every year, plus roadside activities that also increase cause congestion at several points of the way. To overcome this problem, the local government carried out road widening to increase the capacity and level of road services. The study was conducted to determine the amount of traffic volume, performance, service level of the Temanggung Tilung road section at peak traffic hours before and after road widening. Data retrieval is done by the direct survey to the field to obtain primary data in the form of geometric road data, two-way traffic volume data, and side obstacle data. Performance analysis refers to the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) for urban roads. From the results of data processing, before increasing the road (Type 2/2 UD), the traffic volume that passes through the path is 842 pcs/hour and after road widening (Type 4/2 UD) the traffic volume for two directions is 973 pcs/hour, with route A equaling 528 pcs/hour and direction B equaling 445 pcs/hour. Based on the analysis of road performance before road enhancement, the capacity = 2551 pcs/hour, saturation degree = 0.331, and the service level of the two-way road are level B. Based on the analysis of the performance of the way after increasing the way, the direction capacity A = 2686 pcs/hour and direction B = 2674 pcs /hour, saturation degree for direction A = 0.196 and direction B = 0.166, service level for road direction A and direction B increase to level A

The article analyses descriptions, memories, and notes on Dresden found in eighteenth-century accounts of Polish travellers. The overarching research objective is to capture the specificity of the way of presenting the city. The ways that Dresden is described are determined by genological diversity of texts, different ways of narration, the use of rhetorical repertoire, and the time of their creation. There are two dominant ways of presenting the city: the first one foregrounds the architectural and historical values, the second one revolves around social life and various kinds of games (redoubts, performances).

Gelendzhik is the resort town, there aren't a lot of industrial enterprises here. The main pollutant is transport. The work purpose is the assessment of a condition of the artificial landings of a pine located along the Federal highway "Don" and landings, which is nearly the sea coast. Researches were conducted to a standard technique of the General vital state (A. S. Bogolyubov). The assessment of a condition of pines was carried out during 6 years: from 2010 to 2015. For carrying out research we used 6 experimental grounds on the Markotkhsky spine and 2 control grounds within the town. We investigated 24 trees on each platform, middle age of the trees were 30 - 40 years. Results. 1. The condition of trees in the pine forests located in immediate proximity with the Federal highway "Don" (No. 1, 2, 3) is unsatisfactory. As even weak influences of the majority of atmospheric gaseous pollutants (sulphurous gas, nitrogen oxides, etc.) give effect of a necrosis and hloroz of pine needles, the condition of pines is connected with technogenic pollution. So near the Federal highway "Don" the air environment is strongly polluted by exhaust gases. Information of 2012 confirm that negative influence of the route on Markotkh's vegetation decreases at reduction of load of the route. 2. On the sites located above on a slope (No. 4,5,6) thanks to remoteness and the wind mode intensity of influence of pollutants is lower and a condition of pines the quite satisfactory. 3. Trees on the sites located near the sea (No. 7,8) are in a good shape. Small deterioration of a state is noted in very droughty years. Conclusion. Results of six years' research show that the condition of the plantings which are in close proximity with the road worsens. It is explained by increase in intensity of the movement on the road, especially during a resort season. Gelendzhik is the city with a good ecological shape, but the damage to environment is already caused. If not to take measures, we can lose a unique part of the nature in the future, recreate it will be impossible. Measures of reduction of negative impact of exhaust gases were offered. Results of researches are transferred to ecological department of the City administration of Gelendzhik.

Retracing in his novel the labyrinthine journey that leads Oedipus from the place of his abomination (Thebes) to the city of his future glory (Colonus), Henry Bauchau fills the emptiness between Sophocles’s Oedipus the King and Oedipus at Colonus. Bauchau’s hero, a powerful king, loses everything and stabs his eyes out when the cruel truth about his real identity is revealed. Blind, homeless, devoid of meaning of life, Oedipus leaves on a journey to pass away anywhere. However, his way to death turns out to be, thanks to benevolent presence of others and art’s liberating power, the road to personal elucidation. The story of Bauchau’s Oedipus, who finally recognizes himself as a truly human, is based therefore on the passage between absence and presence, between darkness and lucidity, on the union of contradictions which symbolize the complexity of human nature. This paper attempts to analyse different representations of absence in Bauchau’s novel. Afterwards, the article focuses on the ways which facilitate Oedipus’s road leading from depersonalization to rediscovery of his own identity.
