This research is background by students who experience rejection from peers and become isolated students. Oneof the factors thought to influence it is emotional intelligence. This purpose of this research is to: Describe the emotional intelligence of students, Describe peer acceptance, and Test the significance of the relationship emotional intelligance with peer acceptance. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with descriptive correlational types. The population of this study was 354 students of SMPN 4 Padang and a sample of 201 students selected with Stratified Random Sampling. Data analyzed with descriptive statistical techniques and Pearson Product Moment techniques with the support of the program SPSS for windows 20. The research findings show that: Students emotional intelligence is in the hight category with a percentage of 60,70%, Peer acceptance is in a good category with a percentage of 54,73%, and there is a significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and peer acceptance with a correlation coefficient of 0,504 and a significance level0,000.

<p>This research is motivated by the number of adolescents who behave aggressively, such as hitting, kicking, yelling, cursing, slandering. Aggressive behavior is an action that aims to hurt other people both physically and verbally. One of the factors that is thought to influence is emotional intelligence. This study aims to: (1) describe emotional intelligence, (2) describe the aggressive behavior of adolescents, and (3) test the significance of the relationship between emotional intelligence and adolescent aggressive behavior. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive correlational types. The population of this study was 300 students of MAN 1 Tanah Datar who were enrolled in the July-December semester of the 2018/2019 academic year and a sample of 178 students selected by <em>Stratified Random Sampling</em>. The instrument used in this study was ascale model <em>Likert</em>. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques andtechniques <em>Pearson Product Moment</em> with the help of the <em>SPSS for Windows 20 program</em>. Research findings show that: (1) adolescent emotional intelligence is in the high category, (2) adolescent aggressive behavior is in the moderate category, (3) and there is a significant negative relationship between emotional intelligence and aggressive behavior of adolescents with a correlation coefficient of -0.431 and level significance of 0,000. One of the factors that influence adolescent's aggressive behavior is emotional intelligence. This research is important so that aggressive behavior of adolescents can be minimized by emotional intelligence, because adolescents who manage theirintelligence are emotionalwell able to control themselves so they do not take aggressive actions.</p><p> </p>

<p><em>This research is motivated by the number of students who have a tendency to behave aggressively. One of the factors that is thought to influence is the ability to manage emotions. The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the tendency to behave aggressively, (2) the ability to manage emotions, and (3) test the relationship between the ability to manage emotions and the tendency to behave aggressively in students. The population of the study was 205 students of SMP N 1 X Koto Singkarak in the July-December semester of the 2018/2019 academic year and a sample of 138 students was selected by Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument used is the Aggressive Behavior Trending questionnaire with a reliability of 0.942 and the Emotion Management Ability questionnaire with a reliability of 0.741. Data were analyzed by descriptive techniques and Pearson Product Moment. The research findings are: (1) the tendency of aggressive behavior of students in the high category, (2) the ability to manage students' emotions in the very low category, and (3) there is a significant negative relationship between the ability to manage emotions and the tendency to behave aggressively in students.</em></p>

The investigator was conducted to study the Emotional intelligence and Teaching competency of B.Ed. students in Kanyakumari District. The investigator collected data from 330 student-teachers by stratified random sampling method. Emotional Intelligence scale and teaching competency scale were used as the main tools. The obtained results showed that there is low correlation between Emotional intelligence and Teaching competency of student teachers. The relationship between Emotional intelligence and Teaching competency was noted to be a significant low correlation.

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is essential attribution among school learners of today. In this respect, determination and normalization of the measures to investigate and recognize dimensions levels help educators have a successful intervention and increase students' academic achievement level. This research aimed to explore the relationship between Emotional Intelligence (EI) and the academic achievement of Arabic basic school students in China. Further, it also sought to determine the level of students' emotional intelligence and motivation to learn. The research aims are addressed through a tool that explores emotional intelligence and motivation. A 60-item for initial emotional intelligence scale was utilized and analyzed to test their psychometric properties by pilot testing. A final total of 303 students with ages ranged between 12-16 years old participated in the research. The research findings suggested the final formulation of items of the emotional intelligence scale that can measure the levels of emotional intelligence of students along with a significantly positive relationship to academic achievement. There were statistically significant differences in the respondents' level of emotional intelligence according to the gender variable. In comparison, there were no statistically significant differences in the respondents' level of emotional intelligence according to the grade variable. Recommendations of the research were presented. Penelitian ini memiliki empat tujuan. Tujuan pertama untuk mengetahui hubungan minat membaca terhadap keterampilan berpidato siswa, kedua hubungan penguasaan kosakata terhadap keterampilan berpidato siswa, ketiga hubungan nilai rapor terhadap keterampilan berpidato siswa, dan keempat hubungan minat membaca, penguasaan kosakata, dan nilai rapor terhadap keterampilan berpidato siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto jenis korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP N di Kabupaten Magelang. Pengambilan data menggunakan cluster sampling (area sampling), stratified random sampling, dan cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, tes pilihan ganda, dokumentasi, dan tes pidato. Analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda. Hasil menunjukkan (1) minat membaca berhubungan dengan positif dan signifikan keterampilan berpidato, (2) penguasaan kosakata berhubungan dengan positif dan signifikan keterampilan berpidato, (3) nilai rapor berhubungan dengan positif dan signifikan keterampilan berpidato (4) minat membaca, penguasaan kosakata, dan nilai rapor secara bersama-sama berhubungan signifikan dengan keterampilan berpidato.Kata Kunci: minat membaca, penguasaan kosakata, nilai rapor, keterampilan berpidato  THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE READING INTEREST, VOCABULARY MASTERY, AND REPORT OF RESULT STUDY AND THE SPEECH DELIVERING SKILLS OF GRADE IX STUDENTS  ABSTRACTThe research has four purposes. The first objective to know the relationship between students’ reading interest and their speech delivering skills, second the relationship between students’ vocabulary mastery and their speech delivering skills, third the relationship between students’ report of result study and their speech delivering skills, and forth the relationship between students’ reading interest, vocabulary mastery, and report of result study as an aggregate and their speech delivering skills. This was an ex-post facto study correlational. The research population comprised Grade IX students of public junior high schools (JHSs) in Magelang Regency. The research sample was from three schools selected by means of the cluster sampling (area sampling), stratified random sampling, and cluster random sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire, multiple choice test, documentation, and speech delivering test. The data were analyzed by simple regression and multiple regression. The results of the study show that: (1) the reading interest has a significant positive relationship with the speech delivering skills, (2) the vocabulary mastery has a significant positive relationship with the speech delivering skills, (3) the report of result study have a significant positive relationship with the speech delivering skills, and (4) the reading interest, vocabulary mastery, and report of result study as an aggregate have a significant relationship with the speech delivering skills.Keywords: reading interest, vocabulary mastery, report of result study, speech delivering skills

The present study aimed to explore the relationship between emotional intelligence and administrative creativity among principals in Karak. That was explored from the perspective of principals and teachers at Karak, Jordan. A questionnaire was used to fulfill the study&rsquo;s goals. The sample consists from 1200 teachers and 50 principals. It was concluded that the emotional intelligence and administrative creativity levels of principals in Karak are moderate from the respondents&rsquo; perspective. It was also concluded that there is a statistically significant positive relationship &ndash; at the statistical significance level of (a &le; 0.05) - between emotional intelligence and administrative creativity among principals in Karak.

The paper is an attempt to find the relationship between Social Intelligence and academic achievement of the selected arts group students at Higher Secondary level. In the present study survey method was used.  The investigator adopted the survey method to study the relationship between Social Intelligence and academic achievement Investigator selected only 300 arts group students at Higher Secondary level as sample in Coimbatore district using stratified random sampling. The findings reveal that there is a mild positive relationship between social intelligence and academic achievement among the selected arts group students at Higher Secondary level.

<p>This study aimed to answer the question that what is the relationship between depression and emotional intelligence among the students of Zabol University of medical sciences in 2014?</p><p>This study is descriptive-correlational that examined 294 students of Zabol University of medical sciences in 1393 by using stratified random sampling. Bar-On emotional intelligence questionnaire and Beck depression questionnaire were used to collect data. Pearson correlation coefficient and regression were used for data analysis. The obtained results show that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and depression. On the other hand, there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence with the variables (gender, major satisfaction, type of faculty, and place of living) and depression with the variables (gender, major satisfaction, father’s education and type of faculty).</p>

This study sought to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and attitudes towards teaching profession among 124 English as a foreign language (EFL) pre-service teachers at a major state university in Turkey. Data were collected using the Emotional Intelligence Scale and the Attitudes towards Teaching Profession Scale. The collected data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings indicated that there was a significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and attitudes towards the teaching profession of Turkish EFL pre-service teachers. Moreover, findings indicated that the majority of the participants had moderate levels of emotional intelligence and attitudes towards teaching profession. Findings may serve as insights for teacher training programs to promote pre-service teachers’ emotional intelligence and their attitudes towards the teaching profession.
