One effort to improve the education is by doing research because it can improve someone competence which is found by the motivation and needs in developing a scientific writing. This research is a descriptive qualitative. Subject of this research is analyzing the students’ needs and motivation in mathematics study program toward ability to write a scientific writing for academic years 2015/2016 with involved 109 students in semester II to semester VI randomly. This research was conducted at Mei-June 2016. Data collection was taken by giving the questionaire. Due to the result of the analysis, and discussion so that it can conclude that students’ need to write the scientic writing 70% is categorized strong, meanwhile intrinsinc motivation is strongest than extrinsic motivation. It can show by the data of students’ extrinsinc motivation is 55%, meanwhile intrinsic motivation is strongest is about 92%.

This study is aimed at identifying English learning motivation and English proficiency achievement. Then, the researcher would like to see the correlation between the students’ motivation and their English proficiency achievement. The research was designed as quantitative correlation. Here, a total of 77 students were asked to complete the motivation questionnaire and set in a TOEFL test. The result of this research revealed that the English learning motivation of the students was in ‘high’ category. This can be seen from the grand total of mean 3.59 which indicated high intrinsic motivation as the dominant motivation. While, the scores of English proficiency achievement indicates that the students had ‘medium’ level of English Proficiency, the range score of medium level is 400-499. Another result showed that there was a significant correlation between English learning motivation and English proficiency achievement. It can be proven by rcount (0.346) > rtable (0.224), 5% level of significance; there was a correlation between students with intrinsic motivation and their English proficiency achievement, rcount (0.348) > rtable (0.233); while there was no correlation between students with extrinsic motivation and their English proficiency achievement, rcount (0.307) < rtable (0.811). It means that the correlation between English learning motivation and English proficiency achievement was in ‘weak’ level.

This research is motivated by the success of citizens learning in training to open their own businesses, such as receiving wages for orders from suppliers and neighbors. This study aims to see (1) the intrinsic motivation of the learning population in training (2) the extrinsic motivation of the learning population in the training. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative with the circulation of 20 people studying. The sample from this study is the total population of 20 people. Data collection techniques use questionnaires (questionnaires) and data collection tools are a list of statements. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of the study showed that (1) the intrinsic motivation of the learning population in attending the training was high, (2) the extrinsic motivation of extrinsic learning residents in training was high.Keywords: Motivation, Training

This research draws on the students’ perspective of the Cooperative Learning Method with the Jigsaw technique in the Prose Studies classroom. There are some reasons why this study is conducted. Some years ago, in the University of Flores English Literature Study Program, it was found that prose fiction's learning activities did not get a positive response from students. It is due to teaching that tends to be theoretical and lacks students' opportunities to appreciate literary works intensely. Another cause is the ability of academic lecturers, mostly prose fiction. Besides, the discussion pattern was less effective because each group member's contributions were not well controlled. As mentioned previously, the condition certainly needs to find described. One of the keys is changing the teacher-centered strategy to be student?centered. The cooperative method of studying partakes been proposed by way of the alternative to a widespread variety of instructive concerns. The subject is frequently quoted equally as a mode of emphasizing intellectual abilities besidesdeveloping higher-order understanding; for example, a solution about a grade of powers, restoration, or special education, making deals between races; and training students for an increasingly collaborative workforce. This study aims to determine the Jigsaw method's effect on learners' perceptions of cooperative learning in the Prose Studies schoolroom. It was a descriptive qualitative which the strategy is indeed a self-administer survey research. The number of samples is 31 respondents—a purposeful sampling is a sampling procedure used. The data collection process in this analysis is by collecting a questionnaire. Data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires through the Google Form to the participants to determine students’ perceptions of cooperative learning with the Jigsaw technique. In analyzing the data, the researcher uses a descriptive qualitative approach. It is used to know students' perception in analyzing the intrinsic elements of narration text by using cooperative learning with the jigsaw technique. Furthermore, each item's percentage in the questionnaire is explained. The results of this study can be known from the counting recapitulation of participants' questionnaires. The students' perceptions in table 1 until table 19 toward cooperative learning with the jigsaw technique showed that the greatest of the students chose to agree and firmly approved with the questions raised. It means that collaborative learning with the Jigsaw technique made students more actively involved in the class. Also, it makes students more comfortable to understand the material which has been taught. From the findings, it can be concluded that collaborative studying with the jigsaw technique assists the learners in understanding the lesson. It can increase the students' achievement in learning literature, mostly narrative text and knowing cooperative learning with jigsaw technique in the narrative text. Such as novel is not enough to prove that it helps learn literature. Therefore, further study is suggested to use other material objects such as poetry, essay, or drama using cooperative learning method jigsaw technique as conducted in this study.

This research aims to study the achievement of Special Labor Market’s roles in the distribution of the welding study program graduates through the management process (planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling), and the obstacles that occurred. This research also study students’ perception of the Special Labor Market (BKK) work program. The methods of this research is descriptive research. The instruments for data collection are questionnaire, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The research samples are the 5 leaders of BKK and 117 class XII students of welding study program. Result of the research indicate the following scores of the management process aspects: planning 85,6%, organizing 78,3%, actuating 80,3%, and controlling 93,1%. The distribution that have been carried out still puts the workforce out of their field of expertise. The obstacles that occurred during the distribution are: graduates are not ready to work out of their hometown or the parents did not give permission for them to work outside their hometown. The overall graduates’ perception towards the implementation of labor market work program related to graduates is in the category of ‘good’ with a score of 66,5%Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) capaian peranan BKK dalam penyaluran lulusan teknik pengelasan melalui proses manajemen dan 2) persepsi siswa terhadap program kerja BKK yang berhubungan langsung dengan siswa dan alumni. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah 5 Ketua BKK dan 117 Siswa Kelas XII Teknik Pengelasan di wilayah Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa skor proses manajemen BKK pada aspek perencanaan 85,6%, aspek pengorganisasian 78,3%, aspek pelaksanaan 80,3%, dan aspek pengendalian 93,1%. Penyaluran yang dilaksanakan masih menempatkan lulusan bekerja di luar bidang keahliannya. Hambatan yang dihadapi adalah terdapat lulusan yang belum siap untuk bekerja di industri luar kota dan orang tua lulusan yang belum memberi ijin lulusan untuk bekerja di industri luar kota. Persepsi siswa secara keseluruhan terhadap pelaksanaan program BKK yang berkaitan dengan siswa dan alumni termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan persentase sebesar 66,5%.

This study aims to reveal the level of student interest in technical education building of the FT UNJ the teaching profession, the study was conducted starting from March until July, 2016. The study was conducted in Building Engineering Study Program, this research uses descriptive qualitative method, namely data collection techniques by spreading questionnaires and interviews as the reinforcement of the answers to the questionnaire. The results of this study are students of Technical Education Building has a high interest in the teaching profession, they considered that the teaching profession is a noble job, and for that assessment increases the pleasure of students in teaching, and all it's the result that students PTB FT UNJ have high interest in the teaching profession

ANALISIS MOTIVASI INTRINSIK DAN EKSTRINSIK MAHASISWA CALON GURU FISIKAAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar, meliputi motivasi intrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik mahasiswa calon guru fisika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan wawancara dan angket yang sudah tervalidasi dan reliabel yaitu Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire. Sampel penelitian adalah 150 mahasiswa yang tersebar dari semester dua, empat, dan semester enam Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika FKIP Universitas Jember, dengan Indeks Prestasi (IP) rata-rata 3,12 (SD=0,285). Data yang sudah diperoleh kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan fisika sangat bervariasi dan didominasi oleh motivasi belajar instrinsik dibandingkan motivasi ekstrinsik. Pada motivasi instrinsik kebutuhan akan prestasi yang dimiliki mahasiswa pendidikan fisika lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kriteria motivasi intrinsik lain. Pada motivasi ekstrinsik peran otoritas dari orang tua dan dosen merupakan faktor yang mendominasi motivasi ekstrinsik belajar mahasiswa. Dominannya motivasi instrinsik ini menunjukkan adanya kesadaran dari diri mahasiswa mengenai pentingnya belajar.Kata Kunci: motivasi intrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik, mahasiswa calon guru fisikaAbstractThis study was aimed at analyzing the intrinsic and extrinsic learning motivation of physics- teacher student candidates. The study used the quantitative method. The data were collected using interviews and a questionnaire that had been validated and wasreliable, namely Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). The research sample consisted of 150 college students of Physics Education Study Program of University of Jember of semesters two, four, and six with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.12 (SD = 0.285). The data were analyzed quantitatively. The results show that intrinsic motivation is more dominant than extrinsic motivation in the learning processes of physics teacher candidates. In intrinsic motivation, the need for achievement of physics education students is higher than that of others intrinsic motivation criteria. In extrinsic motivation, the role of parents and lecturers is a factor that dominates the learning processes. The dominance of this intrinsic motivation indicates the awareness of the students toward the importance of learning.Keywords: intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, physics teacher candidate

The purpose of this research in general is to described about how students motivation in memorization  al-quran at Bakti Ilaahi Tahfidz House bengkulu city. Methods used in this study was a qualitative methodology a data collection, using a technique interview observation and documentation. Based on the research the conclusions may be drawn that first, santri motivation in memorization quran varies and tending to less stable, this is santri age young 12-15 need assistance and the year guidance so reminded santri tight to individual motivation can so stable and the purpose of learning can be achieved easily. Second, educators have tried to in full to increase the motivation is to submit those, a gift, competition, knowing the outcome, a compliment, punishment and attract. But we cannot deny that the motivation to learn consists of two which is intrinsic motivation or intrinsic and motivation from the outside namely, extrinsic motivation intrinsic motivation is much better than the extrinsic motivation because intrinsic motivation comes from individuals santri alone or awareness of the students own. Third, factors that give rise to motivate students is a factor intrinsic and extrinsic but more dominant derived from extrinsic factor at the sight of motivation santri unstable santri will cheer on when given the recognition and punishment by educators and motivation santri will increase third educators provides guidance motivation that contains about memorizing the quran and fishing for the growing intrinsic motivation in himself students.. Keywords :Motivation, Students, Memorizing the Al-quran, Tahfidz House

Sociolinguistics is the study of language variation and use in society. Interference is the event of the use of language elements of one into the other language elements that occur in the speakers themselves. This research uses descriptive qualitative method because to describe the actual realityin order to obtainan accurateand objective. Qualitative descriptive methods were used to analyzethe elements ofa word orphrase that incorporated elements of other languages with the analysis and description of the formulation of the problem is the answer. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, the determination ofthe object of research, the selection of short stories.Based on the analysis of the data in this study can be found that there are six forms of interference morphology, namely (1) the prefix nasal N-sound, (2) the addition of the suffix, (3) the exchange prefix, (4) exchange suffixes, (5) exchange konfiks, (6) removal affixes. While the syntactic interference only on the words and phrases in a sentence. The results of the study it can be concluded that the interference morphology more common than syntactic interference.

This study aims to explain how the distribution of productive zakat in the Rumah Zakat North Sumatra and how the effectiveness of productive zakat distribution in improving the welfare of mustahik in the Rumah Zakat North Sumatra. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive method, which is a problem that guides researchers to explore and photograph situations that will be thoroughly investigated, broadly and deeply. Data collection techniques with field research, while the tools used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study inform that in distributing productive zakat funds, Rumah Zakat is in accordance with Law No. 23 of 2011 concerning Management of Zakat. The distribution of productive zakat carried out by the Rumah Zakat North Sumatra through the Senyum Mandiri Program to mustahik in Medan Helvetia Subdistrict has been effective, because it can improve the welfare of mustahik, this is evidenced by the income of eight of thirteen mustahik people in total, five people whose income is fixed and four out of eight people whose income has increased has reached the level of muzaki.
