This research is motivated by the difficulties of students in determining the topic of scientific writing, difficulties in conveying ideas and limitations of references. This study aims to develop a learning model for writing scientific papers using the guided inquiry method. This type of research is development research. This study uses a 4-D development research design. The results of this study are as follows: (1) the material for writing scientific papers is difficult because students do not understand the concept of Scientific Writing. (2) in developing scientific work students do not yet know the systematics of scientific writing and students often make ineffective sentences (3) students really need freedom in determining writing topics and ideas (4) most students need the concept of learning to write scientific papers, (5) most students need lecturer guidance in their writing, (6) most students need systematic scientific work concepts, (7) most students need lots of references to write scientific papers. Based on the analysis of student needs, it is necessary to develop a Guided Inquiry-Based Scientific Writing Textbook that provides opportunities for students to find their own concept of learning to write scientific papers. Through Guided Inquiry, students are trained to think critically with teacher guidance.

Metaphors have formed a significant part of the development of neuroscience, often linked with technology. A metaphor that has been widely used for the past two centuries is that of the nervous system being like wires, either as a telegraph system or telephone exchange, or, more recently, in the more abstract metaphor of a wiring diagram. The entry of these terms into scientific writing is traced, together with the insights provided by these metaphors, in particular in relation to recent developments in the study of connectomes. Finally, the place of the wiring diagram as a modern version of Leibniz’s “mill” argument is described, as a way of exploring the limits of what insight the metaphor can provide

Abstract           The PKM program for writing scientific articles to improve the careers of mathematics teachers in Bojonegoro was carried out through the method of providing training, guidance, and mentoring to participants on how to write articles on the results of classroom action research that was carried out daily in their classrooms to make scientific articles that can be published in journals. The main target audience in this activity were mathematics teachers under the auspices of the Bojonegoro Ministry of Religion, totaling 30 teachers. The area where the training and workshop location was at MAN 2 Bojonegoro is a gathering place for mathematics teachers in the MGMP organization. The results in the PKM program activities were (1) increased knowledge of scientific articles, (2) increased ability and skills of participants in writing scientific articles from the results of classroom action research and (3) participants can integrate scientific writing in the learning process. The outputs of this PKM activity were (1) increasing participants' knowledge of the activity materials, (2) scientific articles published in national seminars or national journals, and (3) publication of PKM implementation on online media.     Abstrak Program PKM penulisan artikel ilmiah untuk peningkatan karir guru matematika di Bojonegoro dilakukan melalui metode pemberian pelatihan, bimbingan, dan pendampingan kepada peserta mengenai bagaimana cara menulis artikel hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sehari-hari dalam kelasnya untuk dibuat suatu artikel ilmiah yang dapat terbit di jurnal.. Khalayak sasaran utama dalam kegiatan ini yaitu guru-guru matematika di bawah naungan Kemenag Bojonegoro yang berjumlah 30 guru. Wilayah lokasi pelatihan dan workshop di MAN 2 Bojonegoro sebagai tempat berkumpulnya para guru matematika dalam organisasi MGMP. Hasil dalam kegiatan program PKM yaitu (1) meningkatnya pengetahuan mengenai artikel ilmiah, (2) meningkatnya kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam menulis artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian tindakan kelas dan (3) peserta dapat mengintergrasikan karya tulis ilmiah dalam proses pembelajaran. Luaran kegiatan PKM ini yaitu (1) meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta mengenai materi-materi kegiatan, (2) artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada seminar nasional atau jurnal nasional, dan (3) publikasi pelaksanaan PKM pada media online.

Este trabalho está dividido de acordo com a estrutura de um relatório científico (introdução, objetivo, método, resultados e discussão e considerações finais), no qual em cada um dos tópicos são explorados o que deve ser escrito, como e a sequência de tal descrição. Implicações. Acreditamos que este tipo de artigo pode contribuir com alunas e alunos de cursos de graduação que precisam lidar com as dificuldades relacionadas ao bloqueio de escrita acadêmica. How and what to write in a scientific report of empirical research?Abstract:Objective. The purpose of this article is providing the reader with instructions, based on the scientific literature, on how and what to write in each section and topic of a scientific report of empirical research. Development. The article is divided according to the structure of a scientific report (introduction, objective, methods, results and discussion and final considerations), in which each topic explores what should be written, how and the sequence for such description. Implications. We believe that this type of article can contribute to undergraduate students who need to deal with difficulties related to academic writing block.Keywords. ABSTRAKDalam dunia akademisi plagiarisme merupakan suatu perbuatan tidak terpuji karena merupakan tindakan mencuri ide atau gagasan orang lain. Namun demikian, tindakan plagiarisme masih sering dilakukan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya tulis ilmiah. Untuk mengatasi persoalan itu maka dilakukan sosialisasi wawasan plagiarisme karya tulis ilmiah sebagai bentuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang ditujukan kepada mahasiswa PGSD. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberi pemahaman yang baik kepada mahasiswa tentang definisi plagiarisme, ruang lingkup plagiarisme, faktor penyebab plagiarisme, tipe plagiarisme dan sanksinya, cara menghindari plagiarisme, simulasi cek plagiarisme dan teknik parafrasa. Metode Pelaksanaan sosialisasi kegiatan dilakukan secara daring (online) melalui media zoom meeting. Dari hasil pre test dan post test menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang plagiarisme. Wawasan tentang plagiarisme sangat penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya ilmiah yang bebas plagiat. Kata kunci: wawasan plagiarisme; karya tulis ilmiah ABSTRACTIn the academic world, plagiarism is an act that is not commendable because it is an act of stealing other people's ideas or ideas. However, plagiarism is still often done by students in writing scientific papers. To overcome this problem, socialization of plagiarism insights into scientific writings was carried out as a form of community service activity aimed at PGSD students. This activity aims to give students a good understanding of the definition of plagiarism, the scope of plagiarism, the causes of plagiarism, the types of plagiarism and its sanctions, how to avoid plagiarism, simulation of plagiarism checks and paraphrasing techniques. Methods of the socialization of activities is carried out online through zoom meeting. The results of the pre test and post test showed that there was a significant increase in students' understanding of plagiarism. Insight about plagiarism is very important in supporting the success of students in writing plagiarism-free scientific papers. Keywords: plagiarism insight;scientific writing

In supporting the company's growth and development activities to achieve its goals, the company requires an asset or assets. Assets are a form of wealth and resources owned by the company. Fixed assets have a very important position in the company so that it can run well. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the application of fixed asset accounting at PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk to the recognition of property and equipment, measurement of the time of disclosure of property, plant and equipment, measurement after disclosure of property, plant and equipment, derecognition of property and equipment, and disclosure of property, plant and equipment compared to PSAK No. 16. The data used in this scientific writing is Secondary Data in the form of information regarding the Accounting Application of Fixed Assets of PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk in the 2019 Financial Statements. The data analysis method used in this scientific writing is the descriptive-comparative analysis method. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk in carrying out its Fixed Assets accounting policies in accordance with PSAK No. 16 but PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk has not adopted PSAK No. 16 in its financial statements. The author assumes the application of accounting by PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk regarding PSAK No. 16 has complied with financial accounting standards. Therefore, the application of accounting for PT Gajah Tunggal's fixed assets must be maintained, carried out effectively and the company can adopt PSAK 16 in its financial statements.

Purpose of this research in scientific writing is to find out whether PT Siantar Top Tbk has implemented its financial statements in accordance with PSAK no. 1. The data used by the author in this study are secondary data from the financial statements of PT Siantar Top Tbk in 2019 by downloading from the site www.idx.co.idwebsite.  The data analysis method used in scientific writing is descriptive-comparative method. In this method the authors analyze and compare the financial statements of PT Siantar Top Tbk with PSAK No. 1. The results of this study show that there are still items that are not listed in the 2019 financial statements of PT Siantar Top Tbk. However, most of the 2019 financial statements of PT Siantar Top Tbk have implemented their financial statements in accordance with PSAK No. 1. Therefore, the implementation of the presentation of financial statements at PT Siantar Top Tbk must continue to be adjusted to PSAK No. 1. It is useful to be able to present complete financial statements in accordance with PSAK No. 1.
