The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of Islamic business ethics with the variables of unity, equilibrium, free will, responsibility, benevolence and the welfare of traders in the Pusat Pasar Medan. This research is a quantitative research and the analysis used is multiple regression analysis. The data collection technique used is the questionnaire method obtained directly from the respondent, namely the Pusat Pasar Medan Trader. Analyzed using statistical tools, namely SPSS Version 22. Based on the results of data processing has shown that there is a significant influence as partially and simultaneously among the unity, equilibrium, free will, responsibility and benovelence towards the welfare of traders in the Medan Market Center. For unity, free will, responsibility and benovelence have a positive effect on the welfare of traders in Medan Market Center. While the equilibrium variable has a negative effect on the welfare of Medan Market Center traders. The adjusted R square value is 0.345. This means that 34.5% increase in welfare can be explained by independent variables, namely the variables of unity, equilibrium, free will, responsibility and kindness. While 65.5% is explained by other factors.

This research is to find out the perceptions of micro, small and medium enterprises to modern stores, MSME partnerships with modern stores, constraints, and the role of the government in overcoming the problems of modern shops and MSMEs in Padangsidimpuan City. This research is a descriptive qualitative study by conducting in-depth interviews. The results showed the perception of MSMEs towards modern stores had a negative and positive impact. The negative impact, the income of MSMEs has decreased. The positive impact, the presence of modern stores motivates MSMEs to evaluate themselves from modern stores. The partnership established by MSMEs with modern stores is the use of business locations provided by modern stores. The constraints of MSMEs are business capital, human resources, business legality, business permits and products, while the constraints of modern stores are business permits, human resources and partnerships with MSMEs. The role of the City Government of Padangsidimpuan is for modern stores, namely to give an appeal not to add to modern store outlets and to call for partnerships in terms of marketing local MSME products. For MSMEs, facilitate MSMEs with banking institutions in terms of providing venture capital, training and guidance to MSMEs, and making packaging houses.

<p>This research aims to find out how Bank Aceh's financial performance after conversion in terms of earnings and capital. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. The data collection method used is the documentation method based on the data in the form of quarterly financial statements for the 2016-2018 period published. The method of data analysis in this study is by using the RGEC method (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning and Capital). The results of the study show that Bank Aceh's financial performance in terms of profitability ranks 2, with the definition that profitability is adequate, profit exceeds the target and supports the growth of bank capital. Bank Aceh's decision to convert to sharia as a whole was a very appropriate decision because it was able to show good performance, besides that it also supported the Aceh Government in carrying out its programs to enforce Islamic law. Bank Aceh's financial performance in terms of capital also ranks 2, with the definition that banks have adequate capital quality and adequacy relative to their risk profile, which is accompanied by strong capital management in accordance with the characteristics, scale of business and the complexity of the bank's business.</p>

Customer loyalty is customer loyalty to companies, brands and products, where this loyalty is influenced by various factors such as marketing mix, product, price, location and promotion and influenced by brand image as a moderating variable. This study aims to explain the effect of product, price, location and promotion on Zoya customer loyalty with brand image as a moderating variable. This research is quantitative research  and the method to determine the sample is the Lemeshow formula with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data is obtained by distributing questionnaires that have been structured to the respondents. The data analysis technique used is the MRA (Moderating Regression Analysis). The results showed that as partially the product had a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty by 22.3%, the price had a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty by 35.7%, the location did not affect customer loyalty and promotion had a positive effect and significant to customer loyalty of 21.1%. The prices, locations and promotions simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. And products, prices, locations and promotions have a positive effect on customer loyalty by moderating the brand image in Zoya Medan Branch.

This study aims to explain how the distribution of productive zakat in the Rumah Zakat North Sumatra and how the effectiveness of productive zakat distribution in improving the welfare of mustahik in the Rumah Zakat North Sumatra. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive method, which is a problem that guides researchers to explore and photograph situations that will be thoroughly investigated, broadly and deeply. Data collection techniques with field research, while the tools used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study inform that in distributing productive zakat funds, Rumah Zakat is in accordance with Law No. 23 of 2011 concerning Management of Zakat. The distribution of productive zakat carried out by the Rumah Zakat North Sumatra through the Senyum Mandiri Program to mustahik in Medan Helvetia Subdistrict has been effective, because it can improve the welfare of mustahik, this is evidenced by the income of eight of thirteen mustahik people in total, five people whose income is fixed and four out of eight people whose income has increased has reached the level of muzaki.

According to Islamic economists, inflation has very bad effect on the economy because it disruptions of money function, weakens of saving’s spirit, decreases the production of goods, and weakens of purchasing power. Inflation also attracted the attention of M. Umer Chapra as a Muslim economist. This study to analyze M. Umer Chapra's opinion on inflation. This research with qualitative approach of historical research, which examines history of the character which includes ideas, thoughts, and things that influence the formation of his thoughts. Data collection methods is using library research with the object about Chapra’s thoughts relating to inflation, traced through his works. Chapra thought is a blend of traditional science, religion and modern economics. The results concluded that his thinking was dominated by macroeconomics because he was involved in the world economy, monetary policy, Islamic financial institutions which were more emphasized by the central bank, policies and inflation problems. Chapra's view of efforts to suppress inflation is the need for price stability and strategy. The disadvantage is that in a tolerant attitude towards western financial instruments, it must emphasize moral improvement for the course of fair economy as the solution to the failure of the capitalist and socialist economic systems.

This study aims to analyze the way LAZ Nurul Hayat collects ZIS funds and to analyze how the distribution of ZIS by Nurul Hayat in improving duafa economists, to analyze how the strategy carried out by LAZ Nurul Hayat in improving the economy of the poor. The research methodology is using the qualitative research with descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques are done by reducing, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that how to collect Zakat, Infaq, Sedekah funds is in three ways, namely amil coming to the place of muzaki, muzaki transferring funds to Nurul Hayat and the last one is muzaki coming directly to Nurul Hayat's office. Efforts in the distribution of ZIS in Nurul Hayat were carried out by direct survey of mustahik who were programmed to be given assistance, by choosing two categories, which were worthy of special assistance and worthy of assistance. The strategy carried out by Nurul Hayat is by monitoring the development of business carried out by mustahik who are given ZIS funds by monitoring and guiding if there are difficulties in developing their business.

<p>Management of ZIS in the city of Medan has entered a modernization era where zakat management is directed to amil zakat institutions that specifically deal with the ZIS problem. Now there are many LAZ in Medan, including LAZISMU. Both LAZISMU have enormous potential, because they are under the auspices of the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia. However, in the funding and distribution activities of ZIS in LAZISMU, there is still no promising performance. Some notes show that the number of ZIS that have been funded by these two LAZIS is still relatively low. And the distribution of ZIS has not yet shown maximum results. The research is a field research, namely research conducted or conducted in a specific place using descriptive analysis methods. Descriptive analysis is research that describes clearly and in detail the phenomena that are the subject matter without hypothesizing or doing statistical calculations, which in this case describes clearly and in detail about the main problems that occur in the ZIS collection and utilization strategy in LAZISMU City Field. The results of this study can be concluded that LAZISMU uses its strategic position and utilizes technological advancements to improve the performance of ZIS collection and distribution.  </p>

<p>This study aims to determine how the direct influence of deposits, financing and bancassurance on the profits of Islamic banks and the welfare of society and indirect influence or through the intervening variables of profits on the welfare of society and total influence. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection methods used are documentation methods based on data in the form of monthly financial statements for the period 2014-2018 and per capita income data that has been published. The method of data analysis in this study is by using the path analysis method. The results of the study show that financing significantly affects earnings while third party funds and bancassurance do not directly affect earnings. Deposits and profits of Islamic banks significantly influence directly on public welfare and bancassurance negatively influences people's welfare while financing does not. Financing indirectly significantly influences welfare through profit variables, whereas DPK and bancassurance do not. Business activities of Islamic banks have a role in addition to achieving company profits, also have a positive impact on the welfare of the Indonesian people. Funding and third party funds that generate profits are a determining factor for improving community welfare rather than bancassurance sales.</p>

<p>This study aims to analyze the effect of remuneration, motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance at UIN North Sumatra Medan both partially and simultaneously. The research design used is quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis techniques supported by classic assumption tests and statistical tests with the help of SPSS 22 program. Data collection techniques in this study by distributing questionnaires to the sample in this study were 153 employees of education staff UIN North Sumatra Medan. From the results of t-statistic research that the variable remuneration significantly influences employee performance. The t-statistic test results of motivation variables significantly influence employee performance. T-statistic test results that variable job satisfaction significantly affect employee performance. Simultaneously it is obtained that F-count is greater than F-table and can also be seen in the probability value smaller than the level of significance. It can be concluded that the variable remuneration, motivation, and job satisfaction jointly influence the performance of UIN North Sumatra Medan employees</p>
