The amount of information presented in text form is constantly increasing. A feature of a large amount of such information in most cases is the lack of its structuredness, which complicates the analysis process. At the stage of document processing in the information and analytical system, an automatic classifier is used – as a program, or as a software and hardware complex that accelerates automatic text processing. In this paper, a software and hardware complex is considered, in which the software part functions on the user's computer, and the hardware part is implemented on the FPGA. Thus, the problem of organizing the connection between its two parts is urgent. While FPGAs have high internal parallelism and very high internal bandwidth, the low bandwidth of the interface between the accelerator and the rest of the system, as well as restrictions on the conditions of its use, is a bottleneck in the field of data transfer. This problem is aggravated in the conditions of the need to create a network system for constructing a classifier, where several user computers connected to the network need access to the hardware-implemented part of the complex (accelerator). The aim of this work is to develop an internal interface module with network communication, in accordance with the technical and functional requirements of the software and hardware complex for automatic text classification. Considering the need to provide network access to the accelerator, as a result of the analysis, the Fast Ethernet interface was chosen as the base one. This interface is the most common LAN standard used by most businesses. For the development of the printed circuit board of the interface module, a comprehensive computer-aided design system Altium Designer was used. After the development of the electrical schematic diagram of the project, a simulation of the controller part was created in the Proteus digital-to-analog simulation program. For the convenience of testing the developed interface module, the Arduino UNO module and the SPI serial interface were used. A feature of the developed module is the support of network-level protocols, it makes it possible to organize access from any personal computer of the local network to an expansion board built on the basis of FPGA. The developed printed circuit board of the interface module was analyzed for possible defects and a list of recommendations for the operating conditions of the device was developed. The interface board is designed taking into account the balanced ratio of price-performance criteria, and is intended for use in any institution where there is a need for automatic classification of text documents.

In the modern world, with the desire of all mankind to miniaturize electrical products without loss of power, one of the significant problems is the influence of electromagnetic interference on the stable functioning of devices. This article presents the calibration modules used in the software and hardware complex (SHC), which allows one to assess the influence of electromagnetic interference (EMI) on electronic means. The practical distortion of signals is inevitable since the cause of interference can be their mutual influence on each other, as well as the configuration of the printed circuit board pattern itself. The paper considers modules that allow identifying a number of errors based on previously obtained results and providing calibration of the complex in order to increase the accuracy of estimating the effect of self-induction and transmission line impedance on the introduced signal distortion in various configurations of the PCB trace. The use of this software and hardware complex can significantly reduce the development time and conduct tests that require financial costs since it allows one to conduct a number of experiments at the stage of prototyping electrical products

In this paper, a new method using a Secure Digital Card in debugging an embedded system based on Android and its implementation are introduced. In debugging an embedded system, downloading image files to a RAM on a printed circuit board generally uses a net interface module and a server based on Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP). Here a new method using an SD card is introduced. Compared with downloading by a TFTP server, the method is simple and inexpensive. In the paper, an SD card and its controller are introduced first. Then the designed circuit is presented. Third, two operation modes of the SD card, card identification and data transferring are analyzed in detail. Fourth, the structure of the FAT32 file system and the process for downloading image files into a RAM on board are shown.

Objectives. The article discusses a thermoelectric cooling system (TECS) for ensuring the thermal regime of modular electronic equipment (MEE) located in a cabinet. The main task of the experimental studies is to determine the temperature dependencies of the air-cooled heat-generating elements of a printed circuit board simulator according to TEСS parameters.Method. In order to conduct experimental studies of a thermoelectric cooling system for printed circuit boards in cassette units using a thermoelectric cooling system, a prototype designed and manufactured in the laboratory was studied on a testing stand.Result. The directions of constructive solutions for using a TECS device are presented along with a description of the testing stand and procedure. The dependencies of the temperature of the printed circuit board simulator on the heat power taken away by the TECS are considered along with the temperatures of hot and cold junctions, the air flow velocity and the distance between the electronic boards.Conclusion. The operability of the developed MEE cooling system is confirmed by the experimental studies; the specified cooling method has advantages over conventional forced or natural method and can achieve the temperatures required by the technical operating conditions; when choosing a fan to provide forced circulation of the air flow in the system, it is necessary to take into account the speed of the air flow in the channel; it is necessary to reserve the power of the power supply for the TECS operation in proportion to the power of the heat sources. An important additional point for the functioning of the thermoelectric cooling device is the necessity of ensuring the effective removal of heat from the hot junctions of the thermoelectric module without which it is impossible to use the proposed system.

As a precursor to functional analysis, a content analysis was done to guide improvements for the interface design of a printed circuit board design system. Content analysis, as a design tool, requires users to judge the usefulness of task information and then prioritize it based on one or more specified attributes. For this application, content analysis was completed using 11 judges experienced in printed circuit board layout. All judges were asked to work within the context of a particular printed circuit board example. Two attributes, task relevance and order, were considered by judges as they sorted tasks. An inter-rater reliability check was performed and one judge was eliminated from further analysis. From the remaining pool of 10 judges, 32 tasks central to the activity of board layout were discovered. A model was built using cluster analysis and MDS algorithms which was based on relevant tasks, task order and task concurrence. The model was then compared to the current menu structure of a mature design layout interface and recommendations for interface modifications were made. Notes on using content analysis to do interface design and evaluation as well as recommendations for further use are discussed.

This paper presents the use and development of a specific wireless torque measurement system that is used to obtain the transient torque performance of vehicle transmissions. The torque sensor is strain-based, using surface-mounted strain gauges on a prop shaft. The gauges are connected to a compact printed circuit board, which is clamped to the shaft next to the strain gauges using a three-dimensional printed housing. The printed circuit board contains an amplifier, low-pass filter, analog-to-digital converter, microcontroller and bluetooth transceiver. The printed housing is impact resistant carbon-reinforced nylon and securely retains the printed circuit board and the battery powering the device. The transmitted torque data are received by a transceiver, which is interfaced to a PC through an RS-232 connection. NI LabVIEW is used to process, display and save data. The wireless torque sensor was installed to the Unit Under Test at the output shaft of the five-speed manual transmission. The Unit Under Test was installed on a dynamometer for verification purposes and the transient torque was recorded under various operational conditions. The transient output torque of the manual transmission is measured and compared with results obtained from simulations performed under similar operating conditions. The two sets of transient responses show a good correlation with each other and hence demonstrate that the torque sensor meets the major design specifications. The data obtained will be used to enhance the fidelity of the software model.
