Early age learners have characteristics and needs that are different from learning at the higher levels. Teachers at the early age level of education are required to be able to create a pleasant learning atmosphere, for example through the use of song and play media. But in reality, not all early childhood education teachers have the ability to use and develop songs in all subject areas, especially in learning English. This is due to limited references and the ability to develop creative songs. Thus, the purpose of this community service activity is to improve the teaching competency of PIAUD teachers in Jember Regency. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with workshop techniques and direct mentoring is used as an approach in this activity to help teachers recognize their problems and potential. This mentoring activity involved 50 PIAUD teachers in Jember District with 3 speakers who were experts in the field of English Education and psychology learning. The results of these service activities can be seen from the increase in the ability of teachers to use and develop English songs. In addition, this activity resulted in an English song compilation book that can be used as a reference for learning in class. This shows that the purpose of this service activity has been achieved by increasing the ability of the assisted teacher in using and developing English songs.

Text from Nasma: 'I’ve started moving my things out of the house. I’m putting it in your office for now.' Thus began the story of how one of the youth I had worked with for four years on various YPAR projects became homeless and turned to me for help. Entering this crisis with Nasma took time and an emotional toll, and it affected the power dynamics of our relationship when finishing our YPAR project. Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) works to rebalance power in inequitable relationships based on roles, age, race, gender, etc. Providing care to Nasma as she confronted the traumatic situation of homelessness affected our collaborative relationship as she became dependent on me for basic economic resources. Through this process, the inequities in age and material resources between Nasma and me were centred, displacing the more equitable interactions that we had constructed through YPAR projects. This article employs critical autoethnography to examine the epistemological ‘risks of care’ and argues that the calls for ‘care-full’ scholarship still need to contend with the pitfalls of differential power dynamics in YPAR.

Environmental education has a very important role in overcoming current environmental problems. The development of environmental awareness is increasingly important to continue to be socialized to all elements of society who have a responsibility in maintaining and preserving the environment for sustainability that is relevant to nature. Early childhood must begin to have an awareness of the importance of environmental aspects in maintaining life now and in the future because environmental education is the responsibility of the entire community, including government and educational institutions. This community service activity combines the provision of material on the importance of preserving the environment, especially Indonesian rare animals and development of children’s fine motor skill by using paper folding activities or commonly called origami. This study using collaborative and participatory action research methods (PAR). At the community service this time, the target of the participants was children aged 6-8 years in the North Jakarta Dharma Suci RPTRA environment. The results of the training from this activity showed that children tend to be enthusiastic in participating in giving the material given. Children tend to be interested in learning more about rare animals in Indonesia. And it can be seen that the children's fine motor skills, namely in folding paper (origami), seem to be better in several processes in the process of folding paper.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan/penataran/penyuluhan yang bersifat participatory action dalam bentuk ceramah dan diskusi.[Islamic law as one source of national law is a collection of rules based on fiqhiyah norms or rules. The implementation of fiqh codified into Islamic law in Indonesia does not cover all areas, covering only a few areas, such as marriage, probate, grant, inheritance, zakat, infaq, alms and sharia economy. The enforcement of Shari'a or Islamic law in Indonesia has existed before western law applied in the archipelago, but there are still many misconceptions about the sharia that prevail in Indonesia. Madrasah Aliyah as a formal secondary education level equivalent to High School in addition to teaching general subjects are also taught religious subjects, especially the lessons of jurisprudence. The provision of fiqih material in MA must be accompanied by understanding the status and implementation of Islamic law in the state law based on Pancasila, so that students can know the extent to which Shari'a is applied in the life of society and state in the Republic of Indonesia. The purpose of this community service activity is to give understanding to the students of Madrasah Aliyah especially MAN 3 Jakarta about the implementation of Islamic Law and its position in the law of the Republic of Indonesia. Community service activities are conducted through participatory action training/upbringing methods in the form of lectures and discussions.]
