Information systems that link businesses for the purpose of inter-organizational transfer of business transaction information (inter-organizational information systems, or IOIS) have been in use since the 1970s (Lankford & Riggs, 1996). Early systems relied on private networks, using electronic data interchange (EDI) or United Nations EDIFACT standards for format and content of transaction messages. Due to their cost and complexity, the use of these systems was confined primarily to large companies, but low-cost Internet commercialization has led to much more widespread adoption of IOIS. Systems using the Internet and the World Wide Web are commonly referred to as B2B (business-to-business) systems, supporting B2B electronic commerce.

ABSTRACT Growth of access to information at the present time is running fast. Public or the user to obtain data or information that is accurate, current, and a quick and easy right now is not difficult. The development of the Internet in today's increasingly rapidly and can not be separated from the world of education. Presence information systems and the Internet continues to grow, then created a way of delivering education electronically with the help of internet. The information system is at present better known as electronic learning (e-learning). E-learning is an information system that helps instructional manual to electronic learning. In the world of education to enable faculty and students to manage course, nowadays there are more Academic Information System shortened by SIA. SIA is an information system that manages and processes all the data of academic residing in the academic field. KRS SIA online that are closely related to the subjects that will be filled in e-learning. From the view of these needs, it helps both information systems are combined so that the user fills in SIA, the e-learning systems relating to subjects who follow will update itself and needs to be designed so that both the information system can run well and can used by the user. Ergonomic approach is needed for these systems is the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) so that the developed system will be convenient, easy and safe to use by the user, or in other words is user friendly. These journals are intended to develop a system AIS integration with e-learning in order to assist and facilitate the activities of learning in Higher Education.

In order for higher education institutions, which implements blended and/or online learning to remain competitive and innovative it needs to keep up with the cutting edge technological and educational advances. This task is usually very difficult, keeping in mind the budget constraints that many institutions have. This usually implies that existing open source solutions have to be used and adapted to individual needs of each institution. Keeping up with the current technological advances often brings not only financial challenges, but also transitional challenges that may put at risk learning quality and reputation of the institution, as well as performance of students. This work describes the features of the system, results and challenges of transitioning to e-learning system that displays learning materials through sequence of reusable learning objects (LOs) from the system that does not have these capabilities. The goal of such system is to increase reusability of learning content, and moreover, to increase online interactivity and communication between the instructor and students. Findings of this work reveal advantages, disadvantages and potential obstacle of implementation e-learning system with LOs and give an overview of suggestions for implementation improvements. These suggestions are given based on evaluation of implementation of new e-learning system with LOs, after the transition from the traditional e-learning system. Furthermore, based on the research of existing methodologies in the field of information systems, and the results of this research, this work proposes methodology for transferring into e-learning system with LOs.

Open source communities are one of the most successful-- and least appreciated--examples of high-performance collaboration and community building on the Internet today. Open source communities began as loosely organized, ad-hoc communities of contributors from all over the world who shared an interest in meeting a common need. However, the organization of these communities has proven to be very flexible and capable of carrying out all kind of developments, ranging from minor projects to huge programs such as Apache (Höhn, & Herr, 2004; Mockus, Fielding, & Herbsleb, 2005).

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world, including Indonesia, requires taking a stand in preventing wider transmission, including the education sector. In this regard, the Ministry of Education and Culture has taken a firm stance through several circular letters relating to education policies in the emergency period of the spread of Covid-19. The distance learning process is a solution that is not yet optimal in its implementation. There are things that must be considered in this distance learning, among others, the quality of teacher resources must be improved, both in terms of content and methodology as well as in terms of the use of information technology. In addition, students are also less active in participating in this distance learning, both due to an unstable internet network and in terms of providing a limited internet quota. The purpose of writing this article is to study and understand the problems in learning activities during a pandemic, namely distance learning so that students can participate actively and interestingly. This study used a qualitative and observative approach. The results of this study prove that distance learning (PJJ) during the Covid-19 pandemic caused various responses and changes to the learning system that could affect the learning process and the level of development of students in responding to the material presented.

The open source software movement exists as a loose collection of individuals, organizations, and philosophies roughly grouped under the intent of making software source code as widely available as possible (Raymond, 1998). While the movement as such can trace its roots back more than 30 years to the development of academic software, the Internet, the World Wide Web, and so forth, the popularization of the movement grew significantly from the mid-80s (Naughton, 2000).

The world continues to be driven by the rapid development of information technology and globalization. Not surprisingly, the working environments that have been projected to grow the fastest are all related to the usage of computers, the Internet, and information systems. With globalization, many multinational corporations (MNCs) are increasingly employing virtual teams (VTs). It was reported that 137 million workers worldwide are involved in some form of remote electronic work (Solomon, 2001).
