Tunjuk Ajar Melayu written by Tenas Effendy is a brilliant work that contains a variety of educational pearl values ​​in a broad sense. If the value is actualized in the concepts of education, then a quality form or format will be produced in the preparation of the concept of education. One of the most urgent values ​​in Malay teaching is character. Based on a study of the character content in the 2013 Curriculum and the character values ​​in the Tenas Effendy Malay Language Teaching Guide, the author sees that there are similarities and meeting points of the two aspects. However, the character values ​​in Tunjuk Ajar Melayu by Tenas Effendy are far broader and deeper and it touches directly on the cultural basis of society. These values ​​are neatly packaged in the curriculum, they will result a very positive if these impact in the context of achieving national education goals today.

Kurangnya moral anak bangsa saat sekarang ini, seperti pembegal yang marak dilakukan oleh kalangan pelajar SMP atau SMA, seks bebas, pornografi, narkoba, dan minum minuman keras sudah membuat miris kalangan pendidik. Hal ini, sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional indonesia. Pendidikan karakter adalah pendidikan yang membangun kulaitas moral yang bersifat positif. Pembelajaran biologi mengajarkan kita mencintai ciptaan Allah SWT, karena pencipta dari ruang lingkup biologi adalah Allah SWT. Wujud cinta kepada Allah SWT adalah menjalankan segala perintah-Nya serta menjaduhi segala larangan-Nya. Education plays an important role for the quality of human’s life. Education is a process of accommodating learners to develop their potential based on the talent and ability they have. Through this process, individuals will have a better personality, IQ, manner, religious belief. School is an institution that not only teach science or study but also is very important to educate the students. The education will influence or change the behavior, character, personality, way of thinking, maturity and etc, because the education is expected the student not only understand or master of science and technology but also have good character and personal. National education goals also called general purpose is education goals to be achieved at the national level. Indonesia’s national education goals listed in law Republic Indonesia number 2 1989, about the national education system chapter 2 verse 4 said: national education the nation and develop human whose faith and fear of God, good character, knowledge and skills, physical and spiritual health, personality and independence and sense responsibility for society and nationality. To achieve national education goals, vision and mission of the school, the scholl students need to choose someone who can be role model for other students in learning, behavior, attitudes and how to interact in school or outside the school cenvironment. The head master and the teacher make the criteria or requirements to determine who will be role model and they use an approach that can be done by using Fuzzy logic . And the assesment’s criteria can be done by looking at the attitude, discipline, the average of mark, the organization, and involved in drugs. That approached is expected to choose a role model of student effectively. From that criteria they make a decision support system to determine thet role mode student.

Education is a business that is conscious, deliberate, patterned, and can be evaluated by educators to foster and develop the potential that exists within learners. Direction of education policy at the level of the nation was held in the framework of the intellectual life of the nation that is based on faith and piety and noble character. Direction of the nation's education is aimed at producing human resources in Indonesia that have character: faithful and pious to God The Godhead, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent, being a democratic citizen, and accountable. The functions of national education are to develop the ability to think rationally and form a noble character in relation to the values of Pancasila, namely the values of the divinity, humanity, unity, democracy, and justice. The national education goals are to develop the students potential to be able to think rationally, and to have a noble character in relation to the values of Pancasila, which upholds the values of truth, goodness, beauty, and divinity, as well as constructively and creatively to be able to be responsible for advancing the Indonesian nation in adjusting with the demands of the modern society based on democracy and justice.
