Kurangnya moral anak bangsa saat sekarang ini, seperti pembegal yang marak dilakukan oleh kalangan pelajar SMP atau SMA, seks bebas, pornografi, narkoba, dan minum minuman keras sudah membuat miris kalangan pendidik. Karena pendidikan moral anak tidak hanya tugas keluarga, tapi juga guru sebagai pendidik. Dan tidak hanya tugas guru agama, tapi guru mata pelajaran biologi. Melalui pembelajaran berkarakter disekolah, dapat diharapkan lulusannya memiliki keimanan dan ketaqwaan kepada Allah swt, berakhlak mulia, berkarakter mulia, komptensi akademik yang utuh dan terpadu, sekaligus memiliki kepribadian yang baik sesuai norma-norma dan budaya Indonesia. Hal ini, sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional indonesia. Pendidikan karakter adalah pendidikan yang membangun kulaitas moral yang bersifat positif. Pembelajaran biologi mengajarkan kita mencintai ciptaan Allah SWT, karena pencipta dari ruang lingkup biologi adalah Allah SWT. Wujud cinta kepada Allah SWT adalah menjalankan segala perintah-Nya serta menjaduhi segala larangan-Nya. The aim of National education is to create a generation that has good character and noble character. But 8 of 10 children experienced bullying cases in Indonesia stay on 4th in cases of child abuse. Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas as an educational figure in contemporary Islamic times. This study uses qualitative research methods with the type of library research. Strengthening Education forms good human character, Syed M. Naquib Al-Attas uses the concept of ta'dib, which is to instill good manners to form praiseworthy personalities in humans that encompass habits, character and habits. Strengthening character education at Al-Ishlah Cibinong Junior High School based on the Qur'an in planning, management, implementation and evaluation. Strengthening character education is highly needed in junior high schools by applying the model model, learning in class, integrating with all subject matter, integrating in Intrakulikuler, Kokurikuler and Extracurricular activities, empowerment and coaching.

The media serves to direct students to gain various learning experiences. The aim of this study is to know the feasibility of interactive multimedia development in children' story of character education-based. Sources of data in this study were obtained from: 1) Respondents: 7th grade students of Junior High School Panca Budi Medan which amount to 23 students, 2) Informants: validators, students and Indonesian language teachers of Junior High School Panca Budi Medan. The results of the feasibility of learning media validation by instructional media design experts was declared "very good" The assessment of the content feasibility aspect was declared "very good" with a total average percentage of 91%. The assessment of the presentation feasibility was declared "very good" with a total average percentage of 83%. The assessment of the graphic feasibility was declared "good" with a total average percentage of 77%.

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Jigsaw learning model on mutual respect in grade VIII junior high school students. The study population consisted of 3 classes totaling 72 students. The sample of this research is class VIII students, amounting to 23 students. The determination of the sample class of this study was carried out using random sampling techniques. The research data were obtained through the distribution of pre-test and post-test in which validity were tested using the product moment formula. Research data were analyzed using quantitative techniques through independent sample t-test. The results showed that the use of the Jigsaw learning model had a significant effect on the mutual respect of students in the eighth grade. The results of this study can be a reference for education practitioners and related parties in an effort to instill mutual respect for students in schools, especially in the learning process.These findings can be further research material to find models, methods, or media that can be used by education practitioners and related parties for character education in schools.

The implementation of educational program for all through distance learning is expected to match with the condition of Indonesia’s geography, demography, and culture that vary from one place to another. In terms of the implementation of the nine-year basic education compulsion program, Indonesia has carried out various programs, such as Package A (equal to elementary school) and Package B (equal to open junior high school) programs in many parts of provinces in Indonesia. This ‘open junior high school’ model has even been adopted as ‘open Islamic junior high school’ in other provinces. At the level of tertiary education, there is open university, as stated in the Act on National Education System No. 20 of 2003

This study revealed the perception of cultural arts teachers on the local Javanese wayang kulit purwa media to instilling students’ character values through learning art and culture at junior high school levels throughout the great Solo (Solo Raya) area. There is a previous assumption that wayang kulit purwa has only been performed at general public beyond formal school institutions such as junior high schools. Meanwhile, in instilling the values of character education, the teachers indicated through the subjects taught, the results showed that they were still found to be limited to formal media. This study reflects its own specific points, this is because the teaching aids used are the Purwa puppet media. This study was carried out by applying a survey to 69 cultural arts teachers who were selected purposively in all areas of Solo Raya covering 7 (seven) regencies / municipalities. The technique applied in collecting data is through questionnaires and interview techniques. To analyze the data, an interactive model is used which includes the initial steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that most cultural arts teachers had positive and negative perceptions of wayang kulit purwa if it was used as a medium of learning and planting character education for students at junior high school level. However, most of the cultural arts teachers who have had a graduate education have positive perceptions. Because wayang kulit purwa reflects moral, socio-cultural values, character education as well as patriotism

The research and development of Indonesian textbooks is very important especially for the textbook which integrates character education using communicative approach. Many textbooks have been published, but they are often only for reference in assignments and exercises. The existing textbooks do not fully use text that is a genre in learning Indonesian, namely the pedagogic genre. This research aims to produce forms of competence, material forms, forms of tasks, and forms of assessment in the development of Indonesian Language and Literature textbooks integrated with character education based on communicative approaches for junior high school. The method used was research and development with reference to the Borg and Gall model. The showed that learning devices, teaching books, are feasible to implement. In addition, practitioners' assessment of the implementation of this textbook is 3,526 categories "Good". Likewise, the assessment of students in the three aspects occupies the highest category of Good. Therefore, the development of the Indonesian Language and Literature textbook can already be said to be feasible to use for the teachers and the students of Junior High School, especially for SMP Pangudi Luhur 1  in Yogyakarta.
