High competition in the markets of goods and services makes it urgent to improve the efficiencyof the use of production assets by the enterprises. One of the possible ways to solve the problem is joint use of the assets by different subjects. The use of this mechanism in the various branches grows rapidly in the last decade due to the opportunities for aggregation of supply and demand and automated contracting provided by the modern digital technologies. The basis for production asset management systems based on sharing is a mathematical model that allows determining the optimal modes of asset use in terms of their utilization, reducing the total cost of ownership and obtaining additional operating profit. This article considers a mathematical model of a multi-product spatially distributed production system that reflects the features of the activities of machine-building enterprises and assumes the possibility of joint use of their fixed assets. Economic and social criteria for the efficiency of fixed assets sharing are formulated in terms of maximizing the profit of enterprises, minimizing logistics and downtime costs. The optimal modes of joint use of the fixed assets concerning these criteria are investigated. It is shown that the joint use of fixed assets under the certain conditions can significantly improve the efficiency of the operating activities of enterprises.

Topicality. In the conditions of ambiguity of the situation that has developed over the past years in the economy, each enterprise needs to focus on developing measures to minimize the impact of adverse factors of the external and internal environment, which can be achieved through system monitoring of changes in the situation, as well as the effective management of economic activity Actual increase of the economic potential of the machine-building industry, which will provide good management, will create conditions for timely response to threats and hazards, strengthen the system of economic security of enterprises in accordance with changing environmental conditions. Aim and tasks. The goal of the paper is to investigate and identify the problems of building up economic potential, their impact on the economic safety of the machine-building enterprise, in particular, and on the industry as a whole. In this regard, the task of carrying out a comprehensive analysis of the main indicators of economic capacity building at the enterprises of the machine-building industry, which will be able to identify the main problems and threats to the industry, identify the strengths and opportunities to understand the main problems of building capacity of the machine-building complex to ensure economic security. Research results. The share of industrial innovation and active enterprises according to the types of implemented innovations has been analyzed. The development of economic potential of machine-building enterprises has been researched. The main problems and threats have been outlined for ensuring economic security and development of the industry. It has been established that the investigated branch has a number of strengths and opportunities, which, taking into account the condition of limiting the impact of weaknesses and threats, gives grounds for specific strategies for the development of machine-building enterprises. In the circumstances in the industry there is practically no development potential. Leading companies are working out the development programs that include expansion of production facilities, updating of production equipment, development of scientific base, increasing of consumer properties of released products and also of the one being produced. It must be admitted that this is the only possible way out of the crisis and the transition to the development of the industry. However, the implementation of these programs is complicated by the lack of adequate funding, as most enterprises carry out technological innovations mainly at their own expense. Conclusions. The main problems of increasing the economic potential of machine-building enterprises are as follows: relative non-competitiveness of products in comparison with products of developed countries; unpopularity of products of the domestic machine-building complex in world markets and the absence of world brands; imperfection of investment activity in most enterprises: insignificant level of implementation of development of scientific and technological progress in comparison with potential opportunities in the production of innovative products; significant level of depreciation of fixed assets, a significant lag of the state of fixed assets from the technological level of developed countries; use of outdated technological developments.

Managerial activities in managing the assets of the healthier of course wanted his company could pay its operating needs, be it short term or long term. Therefore, companies need to work out the structure of assets which are qualified to run the company so as not to get caught up in the cash that is not liquid. Sales or profit to the company.   The goal of the research is analyzing and critiquing asset management in PT Sumi Indo Wiring Tbk. with a period of 2012-2016 (5 year period) to get performance results against corporate asset management in PT Sumi Indo Wiring Tbk.   The results of the Research company showed that companies investing the excess in fixed assets, this is evidenced by the existence of a decrease in Fixed Assets Turn Over from the period 2012-2016. This is an indication that companies are less able to manage the asset sales remains meaningful. and have the increasingly year operating cost increases, this can be proved by the graph of fluctuating operating profit margin especially in the 2012-2013 period has decreased nearly 4%. and although sales rose but could not boost earnings significantly if seen from the graphs of Current asset Turn Over from the period 2012-2016. This decline in decline-experienced company because in terms of managerial less capable of managing his assets.                                         Key Word : Asset Management,Profitability,Liquidity,Activity,Z-Score

The purpose of the article is to determine the role of human capital in the functioning of machine-building enterprises, based on the peculiarities of the formation of labor costs for hired workers in relation to the dynamics of capital expenditures (fixed assets) in order to increase revenue (revenues) from sales of products. The method of correlation-regression analysis has been used, which has revealed the high density of communication, to construct the equation of the dependence of labor costs and capital expenditures (fixed assets) on income (revenue) from sales of products. Using the method of analysis of the functioning environment, according to the machine-building enterprises of the region, the coefficients of covering income (revenue) from the sale of capital expenditures (fixed assets) and labor costs for hired workers, formed the ability to find the indicators of capital expenditure (fixed assets). according to given economic entities the possibility of increasing the income (revenue) from sales of products. The directions of strengthening the development of human capital, in particular, by increasing the cost of capital (fixed assets) of machine-building enterprises in the region, which will increase their profitability, are revealed. Key words: human capital, physical capital (fixed assets), income (revenue) from sales of products, enterprises, correlation-regression analysis, analysis of the functioning environment.

Paddock selection is an important component of grazing management and is based on either some estimate of pasture mass (cover) or the interval since last grazing for each paddock. Obtaining estimates of cover to guide grazing management can be a time consuming task. A value proposition could assist farmers in deciding whether to invest resources in obtaining such information. A farm-scale simulation exercise was designed to estimate the effect of three levels of knowledge of individual paddock cover on profitability: 1) "perfect knowledge", where cover per paddock is known with perfect accuracy, 2) "imperfect knowledge", where cover per paddock is estimated with an average error of 15%, 3) "low knowledge", where cover is not known, and paddocks are selected based on longest time since last grazing. Grazing management based on imperfect knowledge increased farm operating profit by approximately $385/ha compared with low knowledge, while perfect knowledge added a further $140/ha. The main driver of these results is the level of accuracy in daily feed allocation, which increases with improving knowledge of pasture availability. This allows feed supply and demand to be better matched, resulting in less incidence of under- and over-feeding, higher milk production, and more optimal post-grazing residuals to maximise pasture regrowth.
