At present, fractional differential is the effective mathematical approach which deals with the factual problems. This projected technique employs the fractional derivatives definitions Riemann-Liouville (R-L), Grunwald-Letnikov (G-L) and the caputo technique for denoising medical image. The presented method based on fractional derivative which in turn improves the quality of image. The input image is processed on integer order method such as pre-processing operation, image conversion and noise image. The fractional differential mask method is to be applied with the help of Riemann Liouville, and Caputo algorithm. After denoising the medical image enhanced using Anisotropic diffusion process and the result is analyzed to finally get denoised and predicted image.

Abstract One of the most important steps in recognizing fingerprint is accurate feature extraction of the input image. To enhance the accuracy of fingerprint recognition, an algorithm using fractional derivatives is proposed in this paper. The proposed algorithm uses the definitions of fractional derivatives Riemann-Liouville (R-L) and Grunwald-Letnikov (G-L) in two sections of direction estimation and image enhancement for the first time. Based on it, new mask of fractional derivative Gabor filter is calculated. The proposed fractional derivative-based method enhances the image quality. This method enhances the structure of ridges and grooves of fingerprint, using fractional derivatives. The efficiency of the proposed method is studied in images of FVC2004 (DB1, DB2, DB3 and DB4) database and the results are evaluated using the criteria including entropy, average gradient, and edge intensity. Also, performance of the proposed method is compared with other technical methods such as Gabor filter. Based on the obtained results from the tests, the method is able to enhance the quality of fingerprint images significantly.

AbstractWe consider medical image transformation problems where a grayscale image is transformed into a color image. The colorized medical image should have the same features as the input image because extra synthesized features can increase the possibility of diagnostic errors. In this paper, to secure colorized medical images and improve the quality of synthesized images, as well as to leverage unpaired training image data, a colorization network is proposed based on the cycle generative adversarial network (CycleGAN) model, combining a perceptual loss function and a total variation (TV) loss function. Visual comparisons and experimental indicators from the NRMSE, PSNR, and SSIM metrics are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed method. The experimental results show that GAN-based style conversion can be applied to colorization of medical images. As well, the introduction of perceptual loss and TV loss can improve the quality of images produced as a result of colorization better than the result generated by only using the CycleGAN model.

Image processing technique in general, involves the application of signal processing on the input image for isolating the individual color plane of an image. It plays an important role in the image analysis and computer version. This paper compares the efficiency of two approaches in the area of finding breast cancer in medical image processing. The fundamental target is to apply an image mining in the area of medical image handling utilizing grouping guideline created by genetic algorithm. The parameter using extracted border, the border pixels are considered as population strings to genetic algorithm and Ant Colony Optimization, to find out the optimum value from the border pixels. We likewise look at cost of ACO and GA also, endeavors to discover which one gives the better solution to identify an affected area in medical image based on computational time.

Higher order fractional differential equations are important tools to deal with precise models of materials with hereditary and memory effects. Moreover, fractional differential inequalities are useful to establish the properties of solutions of different problems in biomathematics and flow phenomena. In the present work, we are concerned with the nonexistence of global solutions to a higher order fractional differential inequality with a nonlinearity involving Caputo fractional derivative. Namely, using nonlinear capacity estimates, we obtain sufficient conditions for which we have no global solutions. The a priori estimates of the structure of solutions are obtained by a precise analysis of the integral form of the inequality with appropriate choice of test function.

Abstract In this paper a general framework is presented on some operational properties of Caputo modification of Hadamard-type fractional differential operator along with a new algorithm proposed for approximation of Hadamard-type fractional integral using Haar wavelet method. Moreover, a generalized Taylor expansion based on Caputo–Hadamard-type fractional differential operator is also established, and an example is presented for illustration.

The image registration is a very important task in image processing. In the field of medical imaging, it is used to compare the anatomical structures of two or more images taken at different time to track for example the evolution of a disease. Intensity-based techniques are widely used in the multi-modal registration. To have the best registration, a cost function expressing the similarity between these images is maximized. The registration problem is reduced to the optimization of a cost function. We propose to use neighborhood meta-heuristics (tabu search, simulated annealing) and a meta-heuristic population (genetic algorithms). An evaluation step is necessary to estimate the quality of registration obtained. In this paper we present some results of medical image registration

Some new Gronwall-Bellman type inequalities are presented in this paper. Based on these inequalities, new explicit bounds for the related unknown functions are derived. The inequalities established can also be used as a handy tool in the research of qualitative as well as quantitative analysis for solutions to some fractional differential equations defined in the sense of the modified Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative. For illustrating the validity of the results established, we present some applications for them, in which the boundedness, uniqueness, and continuous dependence on the initial value for the solutions to some certain fractional differential and integral equations are investigated.

This paper studies a fractional differential inequality involving a new fractional derivative (Hilfer-Hadamard type) with a polynomial source term. We obtain an exponent for which there does not exist any global solution for the problem. We also provide an example to show the existence of solutions in a wider space for some exponents.

In this paper, we investigate the existence of solutions for a class of anti-periodic fractional differential inclusions with ψ -Riesz-Caputo fractional derivative. A new definition of ψ -Riesz-Caputo fractional derivative of order α is proposed. By means of Contractive map theorem and nonlinear alternative for Kakutani maps, sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions to the fractional differential inclusions are given. We present two examples to illustrate our main results.
