At present, the field of natural language will also introduce in-depth learning, using the concept of word vector, so that the neural network can also complete the work in the field of statistics. It can be said that the neural network has begun to show its advantages in the field of natural language processing. In this paper, the author analyzes the multimedia English course based on fuzzy statistics and neural network clustering. Different factors were classified, and scores were classified according to the number of characteristics of different categories. It can be seen that with the popularization of the Internet, MOOC teaching meets the requirements of the current college English curriculum, is a breakthrough in the traditional teaching mode, improves students’ participation, and enables students to learn independently. It not only conforms to the characteristics of College students, but also improves their learning effect. In the automatic scoring stage, the quantitative text features are extracted by the feature extractor in the pre-processing stage, and then the weights of network connections obtained in the training stage are used to score the weights comprehensively. This model can better reflect students’ autonomous learning ability and language application ability.

The dazzling success of neural networks over natural language processing systems is imposing an urgent need to control their behavior with simpler, more direct declarative rules. In this paper, we propose Pat-in-the-Loop as a model to control a specific class of syntax-oriented neural networks by adding declarative rules. In Pat-in-the-Loop, distributed tree encoders allow to exploit parse trees in neural networks, heat parse trees visualize activation of parse trees, and parse subtrees are used as declarative rules in the neural network. Hence, Pat-in-the-Loop is a model to include human control in specific natural language processing (NLP)-neural network (NN) systems that exploit syntactic information, which we will generically call Pat. A pilot study on question classification showed that declarative rules representing human knowledge, injected by Pat, can be effectively used in these neural networks to ensure correctness, relevance, and cost-effective.

The language modelling is also considered to be vital in the processing the natural languages as the other chores such as the completion of sentences, recognition of speech automatically, translations of the statistical machines, and generation of text and so on. The success of the viable natural language processing totally relies on the quality of the modelling of the language. In the previous spans the research field such as the linguistics, psychology, speech recognition, data compression, neuroscience, machine translation etc. As the neural network are the very good choices for having a quality language modelling the paper presents the analysis of neural networks in the modelling of the language. Utilizing some of the dataset such as the Penn Tree bank, Billion Word Benchmark and the Wiki Test the neural network models are evaluated on the basis of the word error rate, perplexity and the bilingual evaluation under study scores to identify the optimal model.

The main advantage of modern natural language processing methods is a possibility to turn an amorphous human-readable task into a strict mathematic form. That allows to extract chemical data and insights from articles and to find new semantic relations. We propose a universal engine for processing chemical and biological texts. We successfully tested it on various use-cases and applied to a case of searching a therapeutic agent for a COVID-19 disease by analyzing PubMed archive.

Convolutional neural network (CNN) has revolutionized the field of natural language processing, which is considerably efficient at semantics analysis that underlies difficult natural language processing problems in a variety of domains. The deceptive opinion detection is an important application of the existing CNN models. The detection mechanism based on CNN models has better self-adaptability and can effectively identify all kinds of deceptive opinions. Online opinions are quite short, varying in their types and content. In order to effectively identify deceptive opinions, we need to comprehensively study the characteristics of deceptive opinions and explore novel characteristics besides the textual semantics and emotional polarity that have been widely used in text analysis. In this paper, we optimize the convolutional neural network model by embedding the word order characteristics in its convolution layer and pooling layer, which makes convolutional neural network more suitable for short text classification and deceptive opinions detection. The TensorFlow-based experiments demonstrate that the proposed detection mechanism achieves more accurate deceptive opinion detection results.

As the earliest practical controller, PID controller has more than 50 years of history, and it is still the most widely used and most common industrial controllers. PID controller is simple to understand and use, without a prerequisite for an accurate model of the physical system, thus become the most popular, the most common controller. The reason why PID controller is the first developed one is that its simple algorithm, robustness and high reliability. It is widely used in process control and motion control, especially for accurate mathematical model that can be established deterministic control system. But the conventional PID controller tuning parameters are often poor performance, poor adaptability to the operating environment. The neural network has a strong nonlinear mapping ability, competence, self-learning ability of associative memory, and has a viable quantities of information processing methods and good fault tolerance.

Intelligent procedure expert system was developed to select appropriate GTAW procedure in this paper. First, the function design and implementation methods of the welding procedure expert system were introduced. The expert system can present the welding procedure card, multimedia display of welding process, and output function to makes the data sharing more convenient. Then, the database design of the welding procedure expert system based on C/S mode was presented where the expert knowledge was stored. At last, the neural network model was established to realize procedure selection based on the neural network learning ability and the welding case from the database. With the BPNN model, the welding parameters can be obtained based on the input welding conditions.

SummaryObjective: To describe and compare logistic regression and neural network modeling strategies to predict hospital admission or transfer following initial presentation to Emergency Department (ED) triage with and without the addition of natural language processing elements.Methods: Using data from the National Hospital Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NHAMCS), a cross-sectional probability sample of United States EDs from 2012 and 2013 survey years, we developed several predictive models with the outcome being admission to the hospital or transfer vs. discharge home. We included patient characteristics immediately available after the patient has presented to the ED and undergone a triage process. We used this information to construct logistic regression (LR) and multilayer neural network models (MLNN) which included natural language processing (NLP) and principal component analysis from the patient’s reason for visit. Ten-fold cross validation was used to test the predictive capacity of each model and receiver operating curves (AUC) were then calculated for each model.Results: Of the 47,200 ED visits from 642 hospitals, 6,335 (13.42%) resulted in hospital admission (or transfer). A total of 48 principal components were extracted by NLP from the reason for visit fields, which explained 75% of the overall variance for hospitalization. In the model including only structured variables, the AUC was 0.824 (95% CI 0.818-0.830) for logistic regression and 0.823 (95% CI 0.817-0.829) for MLNN. Models including only free-text information generated AUC of 0.742 (95% CI 0.7310.753) for logistic regression and 0.753 (95% CI 0.742-0.764) for MLNN. When both structured variables and free text variables were included, the AUC reached 0.846 (95% CI 0.839-0.853) for logistic regression and 0.844 (95% CI 0.836-0.852) for MLNN.Conclusions: The predictive accuracy of hospital admission or transfer for patients who presented to ED triage overall was good, and was improved with the inclusion of free text data from a patient’s reason for visit regardless of modeling approach. Natural language processing and neural networks that incorporate patient-reported outcome free text may increase predictive accuracy for hospital admission.

The residual network is now one of the most effective structures in deep learning, which utilizes the skip connections to “guarantee" the performance will not get worse. However, the non-convexity of the neural network makes it unclear whether the skip connections do provably improve the learning ability since the nonlinearity may create many local minima. In some previous works [Freeman and Bruna, 2016], it is shown that despite the non-convexity, the loss landscape of the two-layer ReLU network has good properties when the number m of hidden nodes is very large. In this paper, we follow this line to study the topology (sub-level sets) of the loss landscape of deep ReLU neural networks with a skip connection and theoretically prove that the skip connection network inherits the good properties of the two-layer network and skip connections can help to control the connectedness of the sub-level sets, such that any local minima worse than the global minima of some two-layer ReLU network will be very “shallow". The “depth" of these local minima are at most O(m^(η-1)/n), where n is the input dimension, η<1. This provides a theoretical explanation for the effectiveness of the skip connection in deep learning.
