The article is devoted to the development of methodological foundations for constructing an optimal system of stochastic stabilization of cutting power based on the results of structural identification of models of the dynamics of the system '' woodworking machine-cutting process '' and uncontrolled disturbance. In order to solve the problem of structural identification of the '' woodworking machine-cutting process ' system and the disturbance acting in the process of wood-cutting, the article proposes a special technology, the use of which made it possible to determine the transfer function of the '' woodworking machine-cutting process '' and estimate the spectral density of the disturbance acting during the processing. It has been established that when the physical and mechanical properties of wood and the state of the cutting tool change, the structure of the transfer function and spectral density does not change, but only the parameters change. As a result of solving the synthesis problem, the structure and parameters of the optimal controller are determined, which ensures the specified quality of the processed surface with minimal energy consumption. To assess the quality of control, it is proposed to use a quadratic criterion, which is the sum of two weighted variances of the stator current deviation of the main motion motor (characterizes energy costs) and the variance of the feed drive speed control signal.Studies of the robust stability of the optimal system with the obtained controller under the influence of unstructured disturbances made it possible to determine the class and estimate the maximum norms of unstructured disturbances at which the system maintains stability and a given control quality. The use of the proposed approach to the construction of an optimal system of stochastic stabilization of cutting power makes it possible to achieve a reduction in energy costs by 12% for a given quality of the processed surface by increasing the stabilization accuracy by two orders of magnitude.

The recent requirements by U.S.E.P.A. for dechlorination and biomonitoring have increased the importance of automatic control of effluent chlorination in wastewater treatment plants. Difficulties with the Ziegler-Nichols controller tuning procedure were reported at the Kyoto Workshop, 1990. Problems are caused by the noise of incomplete mixing, a long time constant, and the disturbances of changing flow and chlorine demand. The Astrom-Hagglund relay feedback procedure provides acceptable control while data is logged to determine the controller constants. Experiences in using the procedure in existing facilities (not redesigning the mixing point) and the quality of control are presented.

Based on the molecular dynamics (MD) theory, in this article, we made a simulation study on titanium nanometric cutting process at different cutting depths, and analyzed the changes of the cutting depth to the effects on the work piece morphology, system potential energy, cutting force and work piece temperature in this titanium nanometric cutting process. The results show that with the increase of the cutting depth, system potential energy, cutting force and work piece temperature will increase correspondingly while the surface quality of machined work piece will decrease.

The most important things in the dynamic research of industrial robots are the vibration behavior, the transfer function and the vibration power spectral density between some of the robot joints and components. In the world this research is made without the assisted research. In each of the study cases in this paper was used the proper virtual Fourier analyzer and was presented one new method of the assisted vibration analysis. With this research it is possible the optimal choosing the base modulus type to avoid the frequencies from the robot spectrum. In the manufacturing systems, the most important facts are the vibration behavior of the robot, the compatibility with some other components of the system. All the VI where achieved in the LabVIEW soft 8.2 version, from National Instruments, USA. This method and the created virtual LabVIEW instrumentation are generally and they are possible to apply in many other dynamic behavior research.

Purpose: In this study, plasma arc cutting (PAC) is an industrial process widely used for cutting various away types of metals in several operating conditions. Design/methodology/approach: It is carried out a systematic or an authoritative inquiry to discover and examine the fact, the plasma cutting process is to establish the accuracy and the quality of the cut in this current paper assessed a good away to better the cutting process. Findings: It found that the effect of parameters on the cutting quality than on the results performed to accomplish by statistical analysis. Research limitations/implications: The objective of the present work paper is to achieve cutting parameters, thus the quality of the cutting process depends upon the plasma gas pressure, scanning speed, cutting power, and cutting height. Practical implications: The product of the plasma cutting process experimentally has been the quality of the cutting equipment that was installed to monitor kerf width quality by exam the edge roughness, kerf width, and the size of the heat-affected zone (HAZ). Originality/value: The results reveal that were technically possessed of including all the relevant characteristics, then a quality control for the cutting and describe the consequence of the process parameters.

The presented study describes the investigation of the potential of ultrasound abrasive cutting of modern fiber composites. A force analysis of the abrasive cutting process of CFRP was conducted, while the process parameters were varied. In addition, the surface quality of the machined workpieces was observed.

This paper studies the entrepreneurial optimism and debt decisions for business start-up. By analysing a sample of 160 business start-up and by using the panel data estimation, we study entrepreneurs’ optimism and its impact on debt decision of business start-up. The measure of entrepreneurial optimism is based on the entrepreneur earnings forecasts initiated by Lin et al. (2005). Meanwhile, the nature of entrepreneurial experience (serial and portfolio entrepreneur) has an effect on entrepreneurial optimism and leads to more or less optimistic entrepreneur. The results reveal that optimistic entrepreneur prefers equity in funding the financial deficit. Serial entrepreneurs tend to use more debt funding. In the dynamic model, the entrepreneur acquiring business concurrently adjusts slowly to debt ratio. Nevertheless, the sequential entrepreneurial experience leads to more optimism and so on more debt use. Given the governance role played by banks, the high adjustment cost for start-up is a consequence of the efficiency of the quality of control exercised by banks that in spite of entrepreneurial optimism, the entrepreneur does not convince the financiers to be so confident on the prospect of the business.
