The need to form the communicative skills of applicants for higher education is determined by the requirements of the modern labor market, increasing requirements for the quality of education. Higher education institutions have all the potential to meet this challenge and cover the entire range of development of students communication skills and abilities in the learning process. The role of higher education institutions in training personnel to meet the needs of the labor market is not only to provide graduates with professional knowledge, skills and abilities, but also in the cross-cutting development of general, soft skills required for higher education applicants to adequately meet the challenges of today’s competitive world. We consider the formation of students’ communicative skills and abilities from the standpoint of the conceptual provisions of the competence-based approach in the modern educational paradigm. Pedagogical conditions and prospects for the formation of students communicative skills are associated with the development and implementation of appropriate activities in the educational process, reflecting the patterns, content, logic and structure of the development and improvement of students communicative potential. The study of the formation of students communication skills was based on the selection of significant indicators, which were measured using diagnostic techniques. The article reveals the possibilities of developing students communicative skills in the process of studying the interfaculty discipline «Generation X, Y, Z and the challenges of our time», taking into account innovative trends in modern higher education and with an emphasis on modeling situations that may arise in future professional activities in the system interaction of four generations.

At present, the educational paradigm of professional education shows a tendency to change towards the creation of electronic information-educational environments of universities. This trend is determined by the global conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as national state interests. The problem of the study lies in substantiating the potential of the electronic information-educational environment of a university in professional education in the context of global changes. The goal of the study is to reveal the potential of university electronic information-educational environments in professional education and identify the trends and perspectives of creating electronic information-educational environments of higher education institutions. Results: A characteristic of the electronic information-educational environment of a university is provided, and its components and resources are identified. The predominant tendencies in the development of e-learning in modern professional education are revealed. The advantages of electronic information-educational environments of universities in professional education are allocated. The prospects for the development of electronic information environments of universities are substantiated.

Choice of profession is a social phenomenon that every person has to face in life. Numerous studies convince us that not only the well-being of a person depends on the chosen work, but also his attitude to himself and life in general, therefore, the right and timely professional choice is very important. Research about factors of career self-determination of students of higher education institutions in Ukraine shows that self-determination is an important factor in the socialization of young person, and the factors that determine students' career choices become an actual problem of nowadays. The present study involved full-time and part-time students of Institute of Philology and Mass Communications of Open International University of Human Development "Ukraine" in order to examine the factors of career self-determination of students of higher education institutions (N=189). Diagnostic factors of career self-determination of students studying in the third and fourth year were carried out using the author's questionnaire. Processing of obtained data was carried out using the Excel 2010 program; factorial and comparative analysis were applied. Results of the study showed that initial stage of career self-determination falls down on the third and fourth studying year at the university, when an image of future career and career orientations begin to form. At the same time, the content of career self-determination in this period is contradictory and uncertain, therefore, the implementation of pedagogical support of this process among students is effective.

This study aims to analyze the effect of reputation, competence on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The population in this study were students of private tertiary institutions in Central Java who are members of Services for Higher Education Institutions Region VI, while a sample of 5 private universities, using the purposive sampling method, was taken with the Slovin formula of 190 respondents. The analysis technique uses regression analysis. Research results show the customer satisfaction variable can be an intervening variable or able to mediate between the direct influence of the reputation variable and the competency variable on customer loyalty variables.
