Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh customer trust terhadap keputusan menggunakan mobile banking melalui perceived risk dan perceived usefulness sebagai variabel intervening pada pengguna aplikasi mobile banking Bank BRI di Kantor Cabang Kebumen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh nasabah pengguna rekening debet pada Bank BRI Kantor Cabang Kebumen yang menggunakan aplikasi mobile banking BRI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Berdasarkan metode statistika dilakukan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik (uji multikolonieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, dan uji normalitas), uji parsial, uji koefisien determinasi, dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan uji validitas dan reliabilitas semua variabel dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil uji t sub struktur I variabel customer trust berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perceived risk. Hasil uji t sub struktur II variabel customer trust berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perceived usefulness, perceived risk tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perceived usefulness. Kemudian untuk sub struktur III variabel customer trust berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan menggunakan, perceived risk tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan menggunakan, perceived usefulness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan menggunakan.

Mobile phones have undeniably brought a paradigm shift, affecting both the lives of people and the business environment. Today, mobile phone has permeated the lives of billions of people around the world, becoming for many an indispensable device. Moreover, adoption of mobile banking has significant impact on reducing costs and enabling change in retail banking. Factors influencing the intention to use or adopt mobile banking are very important and will play a vital role for mobile banking service providers. The proposed study focuses on a comprehensive set of potential factors that influence the adoption of mobile banking. The research model identifies appropriate factors and captures dependency relationships among these factors in the form of a number of hypotheses to be tested in this research. This paper aims to design a scale with a high degree of reliability, validity, and dimensionality which helps to determine the appropriate technology adoption model based on the identified constructs, viz. Optimism (OPTI), Innovativeness (INNO), Insecurity (INSC), Discomfort (DISC), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), Perceived Risk (PR), Subjective Norms (SN), Attitude (ATTI), Behavioural Control (BC) and Behavioural Intention (BI). The data were collected through questionnaire survey from 201 respondents comprising software engineers, bank employees, professors, entrepreneurs. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to test the validity of the proposed measurement scale for all the identified constructs. This instrument helps bankers to determine and design there applications which will contribute to the knowledge of predicting customer intention.

This study aims to examine the factors influencing consumers' behavior intention to adopt mobile banking apps. The research uses the TAM model with additional variables such as social influence and perceived risk to evaluate how these factors impact the behavior intention of young customers toward adopting mobile banking services. PLS-SEM was used as the main research method. The findings from this paper reaffirmed that perceived usefulness and social influence are the most influential factor in behavior intention, but perceived ease of use and perceived risk showed insignificant impacts on young consumers' behavior intention in Vietnam. This paper also found that perceived ease of use had no direct impact on behavior intention but an indirect impact through facilitating perceived usefulness. This subject makes a practical and academic contribution in the context of a developing country where is lacking research in mobile banking apps.

The development of internet users and technology has influenced the banking industry to transform its services towards digital. XYZ Sharia Bank is one of the banks that implements a digital banking service strategy through mobile banking. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of mobile banking users, then analyze what influences the behavioral intentions of users in increasing the intensity of mobile banking use, and provide recommendations for development strategies for Islamic Bank XYZ to increase the intensity of mobile banking use. The results of this study qualitatively indicate that the characteristics of XYZ Islamic Bank mobile banking users are dominated by millennial generation males. XYZ Syariah Bank is the choice for mobile banking services because of its practical and flexible use. In addition to general banking transactions, XYZ Syariah Bank mobile banking is also an option because it provides services to complement people's lifestyles, namely for digital wallet refills, online shopping payments through the marketplace/e-commerce. The results of the research quantitatively indicate that all of the variables studied, namely perceived usefulness, ease of use, interaction needs, perceived risk, perceived cost of use, trustworthiness, credibility, and compatibility with lifestyle and needs have a significant influence on the intensity of using Islamic Bank mobile banking XYZ, where the biggest factor in influencing the intensity of the use of XYZ Islamic Bank's mobile banking is compatibility with lifestyle and needs. Banking transactions carried out in the uncertain conditions of mobile commerce involve highlevels of perceived risk and require substantial levels of trust. Therefore, gaining customer trust and reducing the influence of risk is imperative to developing and nurturing long-lasting and strong relationship between customers and retail banks. However, limited research is currently investigating the effects of overall perceived risk and trust on retail banking customers use of mobile commerce, particularly from the perspective of emerging African economies. This study investigates the effects of perceived risk and institution-based trust on the use of mobile banking apps among South African retail bank customers. The model was tested using responses obtained from 352 users of the mobile banking services of the five major retail banks (ABSA, Capitec, FNB, Nedbank, and Standard Bank) in South Africa. The findings of this study suggest that institution- based trust has a significant positive influence on use behaviour of mobile banking apps. Furthermore, perceived risk has a significant negative influence on use behaviour; and, lastly, institution-based trust is found to have a significant negative influence on perceived risk.

Unitanalisis yang digunakan dalam metode penelitian ini adalah pengguna Mobilebanking yang aktif menggunakan dalam 3 bulan terakhir, dan penelitian inimenggunakan data cross-sectional dan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalahpurposive sampling. Mobile banking services are widely adopted in developed and developing countries, while their adoption by Malaysian consumers is relatively low. The effective adoption of mobile banking mostly depends on consumers. This study’s objective was to examine the factors that influence Malaysian customers’ behavioral intention toward mobile banking. A detailed literature review was conducted in order to identify the critical factors that affect mobile banking users. The research model was based on the Technology Acceptance Model, investigating the additionally perceived risk. Primary data were collected from 384 generation Y bank customers. Structure equation modeling through Smart-PLS was used for data analysis. Results revealed that consumers’ behavioral intention was significantly and positively influenced by perceived usefulness and ease of use, while a significant negative relationship was found between consumers’ behavioral intention and perceived risk. The findings also revealed a mediating relationship of attitude between perceived usefulness, ease of use and risk, and behavioral intention to use mobile banking. The study provides appropriate guidelines to Malaysian banks and mobile banking application developers for the effective implementation and design of mobile banking services.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to propose and examine a conceptual model that best explains the key factors influencing Jordanian customers ' intention to adopt mobile banking (MB). Design/methodology/approach – The proposed conceptual model was based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This was extended by adding perceived risk and self-efficacy as an external factors. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was conducted to analyse the data collected from the field survey questionnaires administered to a convenience sample of Jordanian banking customers. Findings – The results showed that behavioural intention is significantly influenced by perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived risk. Research limitations/implications – Practical and theoretical implications for both Jordanian banks and researchers in the MB context are also discussed in the concluding section. Originality/value – MB-related issues are yet to be examined empirically in the Jordanian context. This submission has attempted to fill this gap by empirically examining some of the important factors influencing the adoption of MB from the Jordanian customers’ perspective.

Purpose – Little is known about the adoption of mobile banking technologies in emerging Asian economies. The purpose of this paper is to empirically examine the motivators that influence a consumer’s intentions to use mobile banking. Design/methodology/approach – A web-based survey was employed to collect data from 348 respondents, split across Thailand and Australia. Data were analysed by employing exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, path and invariance analyses. Findings – The findings indicate that for Australian consumers, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived risk (PR) were the primary determinants of mobile banking adoption. For Thai consumers, the main factors were PU, PR and social influence. National culture was found to impact key antecedents that lead to adoption of m-banking. Research limitations/implications – The actual variance explained by the study’s model was higher in Australia (59.3 per cent) than for Thailand (23.8 per cent), suggesting future research of m-banking adoption in emerging Asian cultures. Practical implications – The authors identify the important factors consumers consider when adopting m-banking. The findings of this research give banking organisations a foundational model that can be used to support m-banking implementation. Originality/value – The study is perhaps the first to examine and compare the intention to adopt m-banking across Thai and Australian consumers, and responds to calls for additional research that generalises m-banking and m-services acceptance across cultures. This study has proposed and validated additional constructs that are not present in the original SST Intention to Use model.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyze the factors affecting mobile banking adoption among young Indian consumers. Design/methodology/approach The authors use a cross-sectional survey research design to empirically examine the factors affecting mobile banking adoption among young Indian consumers. The study sample consists of 269 respondents aged between 23 and 30 years from India. Findings The findings of the study suggest that perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEU), perceived credibility (PC) and structural assurance (SA) are strong determinants of user satisfaction (US) and behavioral intention (BI) to use the mobile banking service. US was found to partially mediate the relationship between PU, PEU, PC and SA and BI to use the service. Perceived risk was found to be statistically insignificant in terms of its relationship with BI to use the service. Research limitations/implications The results of this study provide good evidence for banks to further revamp their work practices in the area of mobile banking to enhance the overall penetration of mobile banking in India. Originality/value The study identifies factors influencing mobile banking adoption among young Indian consumers. Furthermore, this study suggests that US partially mediates the relationship between factor influencing mobile banking adoption and BI.

Mobile phone has become an integral part of our lives. The penetration rate of mobile phones in the developing countries has increased abruptly and this is a good sign for the banking sector. Mobile banking is the most recently launched innovative feat in the banking sector. The unique ability of mobile banking to perform banking transactions irrespective of place and time has given a competitive edge over traditional banking. Even though, all circumstances are in favour of mobile banking, it has failed to take off in most of the developing countries. Hence, the main objective of the study is to find out the constructs which affect the adoption of mobile banking in India. A model has been proposed with the factors namely perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, self-efficacy, perceived risk, perceived enjoyment, relative advantage, compatibility, trust, social influence and personal innovativeness. The proposed model has been tested using various statistical analyses and the findings of this study reveal that relative advantage has the strongest relationship with the intention to use mobile banking.
