Sweet corn is one commodity in great demand to day. Its production is very dependent on the variety in the plants and the location of planting. The aim of the study was to obtain varieties of sweet corn with high production, at suitable locations in Pekanbaru, which would be recommended for cultivation. The research method used is the experimental method with treatment design, namely the first factor is Variety which consists of 3 varieties of sweet corn, namely Sweet boy, Sweet Lady, and Bonanza, and the second factor is the location of planting, namely Rumbai Subdistrict, Bukit Raya District, and Marpoyan District peacefully. using factorial complete randomized design, with six replications. Observation parameters are weighted ear cob (g), ear length without weights (cm), the weight of cob without weighting (g), and sugar content of seeds (%). The data obtained were analyzed using Sidik Ragam and DMRT multiple distance test at the level of 5%. The recommendations givenfor planting in Rumbai Subdistrict are Sweet Lady varieties, for Bukit Raya District are Sweet Lady and Bonanza, and in Marpoyan Damai District are Sweet Boy varieties. The location that provides the highest sweet corn production is Bukit Raya, and the variety that provides the best production is Bonanza. Leaves of plants play a role in sweet corn production.

The aim of the study was to obtain varieties that provide the best agronomic results in the Marpoyan Damai location. The treatment design used is Varieties consisting of three varieties, namely; v1 = Sweet Boy, v2 = Sweet Lady, v3 = Bonanza, the environmental design used was a completely randomized design, with six replications. Data were analyzed by variance, and followed by Duncan's 5% distance test. Observations were made on the weighted cob, weight of cob without weight, cob length, ear length without weights, ear diameter, and sugar content of sweet corn seeds. The results obtained were Sweet Boy variety varieties which are the best varieties recommended to be developed at the Marpoyan Damai planting site.

The objective of the research was to get the varieties that give the best production in RumbaiPekanbaru. The treatment design was three varieties of sweet corn, namely Sweet Bor, Sweet Lady, and Bonanza varieties. The environmental design used was a complete randomized design  withsix replications. The observation parameters were cob  with bractea, cob without bractea, length of cob with bractea, unsweetened length of cob, diameter of cob, and sugar content. The results obtained that Sweet Lady varieties was the best varieties.

<p>Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui paket teknologi yang memberikan produksi jagung manis varietas Master Sweet yang terbaik.  Rancangan Perlakuan yang diuji adalah paket teknologi pupuk Bio Extrim dan ZPT Hormax yang terdiri dari delapan taraf, dan rancangan lingkungan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan uji beda rata-rata perlakuan DMRT pada p 0.5.    Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa paket teknologi dengan pemberian Hormax tanpa Bio Extrim menghasilkan kadar gula yang terbaik.</p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><em>The aim of the research was to find out the technology package that gives the best Sweet Sweet varieties production. The treatment design tested was the Bio Extreme fertilizer technology package and the Hormax ZPT consisting of eight levels, and the environmental design used was a complete randomized design with the difference test of the average DMRT treatment at p 0.5. The results showed that the technology package with Hormax without Bio Extreme resulted in the best sugar content</em></p>

Duck eggshell flour which contains a source of calcium which is useful for increasing calcium in the body, eggshell flour as an addition to instant corn soup enriched with duck eggshell flour. This research method is an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) method. Utilization of duck eggshells made in the form of flour as a mixture of food products including instant soup. Ingredients that can be used as instant soup are sweet corn. Instant corn soup has good nutrition and distinctive characteristics. So, instant corn soup can be enriched in its nutritional content (calcium) by adding calcium from duck eggshell flour. The purpose of this research is to find out the Organoleptic characteristics (color, flavour, texture and taste) instant corn soup enriched with duck eggshell flour. This research uses RAL method which consists of 5 treatments, namely the addition of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% duck eggshell flour which is then analyzed. The results showed instant corn soup enriched with duck eggshell flour had a different effect on the addition of eggshell flour, the sensory properties of the most preferred taste was 5%.

The research was done experimentaly which used completely the randomized design, and the design of treatment is the age ofharvest that consist of 6 times of harvest, there are the age 55 days, the age 60 days, 65 days, 70 days, 75 days, and the age 80 days, ofharvest. The parametre that observed are the amount of leafs, the length of cob, the weight of cob leavy, the weight cob wit hout leaf, theseed sugar content, and the content of seed moisturizer. The result of this research shown that the different of age harvest reallyinfluence for all the parametre determine. And the age harvest that gives the highest sweet corn seed sugar content is 70 days afterplanting

Research conducted an experiment using a completely randomized design environment with four replications, and the design of treatment used is six varieties of sweet corn. Analysis of data using polynomial regression, the parameters measured were plant height, leaf number, leaf length, leaf width, and sugar beans, followed by analyzing the relationship between the growth of plants with a sugar content of sweet corn kernels. The results showed that leaf width gives a weak relationship to the sugar content of sweet corn seed, and leaf length, number of leaves and plant height had a close relationship to the sugar content of sweet corn kernels.

This study aimed to examine Organonitrofos Plus fertilizer (OP) on sweet corn (Zea mays Saccharata L.) and its effect on changes in soil chemical properties of Ultisols. Organonitrofos Plus fertilizer is an enhancement of Organonitrofos fertilizer enriched with microbes at the beginning of the manufacturing process. Research was conducted in the greenhouse of Integrated Agricultural Laboratory of Lampung University. Treatment applied was a factorial of 4 × 2 × 3 with three replications in a randomized block design. The first factor was the dose of OP fertilizer (0, 10, 20, 30 Mg ha-1), the second factor was the dose of inorganic fertilizers (without inorganic fertilizers, and with inorganic fertilizers, namely Urea 0.44, 0.28 SP-36 and KCl 0.16 Mg ha-1), and the third factor was the dose of biochar (0, 10, 20 Mg ha-1). By a single OP fertilizers, inorganic fertilizers, and the interaction between the OP and the inorganic fertilizers increased the weight of dry stover, cob length, cob diameter, cob with husk and cob without husk of corn. OP fertilizers which are applied in Ultisols can improve soil fertility and increase corn production so that OP fertilizer can lessen the use of inorganic fertilizer and can be used as a substitute for inorganic fertilizer. RAE values were highest in treatment of O4K2B2 (30 Mg OP ha-1, with inorganic fertilizer, 10 Mg biochar ha-1) that was equal to 181%, followed by O2K2B3 (10 Mg OP ha-1, with inorganic fertilizer, 20 Mg biochar ha-1 ) with the difference in RAE value of 0.5%. The experiment aimed at investigating the effect of chicken manure and swallow guano and the interaction of both on sweet corn (Zea mays L. saccharata Sturt.) plated onraised-bog peatlend. The experiment used a group-randomized design (GRD) 2 factors: chicken dung and swallow guano having the same three levels (A1=5 t ha-1; A2=10 t ha-1; A3=15 t ha-1). Parameter to observe was the plant height and the plant leave area. The result showed that the single use of swallow guano and chicken manure had significant effect on the plant height and the plant leave area. The best use of swallow guano was at a dose of 15 t ha-1and the best use of chicken manure was at a dose of 10 t ha-1. The best combination was at a dose of 15 t ha-1of swallow guano and 10 t ha-1of chicken manure.   Percobaan ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberianpupuk kandang kotoran ayam dan guano walet serta interaksinya terhadapJagung Manis (Zea mays L. saccharata Sturt.) yang ditanam pada Tanah Gambut Pedalaman. Percobaan dilakukan denganrancangan acak kelompok (RAK) 2 faktor yaitu pupuk kandang kotoran ayam dan pupuk guano walet masing-masing dengan 3 taraf yang sama (A1/W1= 5 t ha-1; A2/W2=10 t ha-1; A3/W3=15 t ha-1). Peubahyang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman dan luas daun tanaman jagung manis. Hasilenunjukkan bahwa pemberian tunggal pupuk guano walet dan pupuk kotoran ayam  berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan luas daun. Dosis terbaik pupuk guano walet tunggal adalah 15 t ha-1dan dosis pupuk kotoran ayam tunggal adalah 10 t ha-1. Kombinasi perlakuan terbaik didapat pada perlakuan 15 t ha-1pupuk guano walet dan 10 t ha-1 pupuk kotoran ayam.

Chrysanthemum is an ornamental flower plant that has advantage because of various colors and has long vase time. The minimum potential for chrysanthemum development in Bangka is because of limited seed and the enviroment conditions in Bangka are less than optimal for chrysanthemum plants. The increasing chrysanthemum seedlings can be done vegetatively by addition of IBA hormone with an ex-vitro system. This study aims to determine the effect of IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) hormone on the growth of chrysanthemum cuttings in Bangka. This research was conducted from March to May 2020 at the Research and experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Fisheries and Biology, Universitas Bangka Belitung. The research method used an experimental method with a single completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments, namely (Control), IBA 50 ppm, IBA 100 ppm, IBA 150 ppm, IBA 200 ppm, IBA 250 ppm. The results showed that giving IBA had no significant effect on the growth of chrysanthemum cuttings in Bangka. Treatment (IBA 150 ppm) tends to be better for the growth of chrysanthemum cuttings in Bangka.
