У статті автором проаналізовано сучасні вітчизняні і зарубіжні підходи до визначення поняття «про-фесійно-ціннісні орієнтації». Зроблено висновок, що у контексті теми дослідження зарубіжні науковці переважно вивчають вплив певних соціально-психологічних факторів на ціннісну сферу працівників. Натомість вітчизняні науковці більше зосереджуються на психолого-педагогічному аналізі механізмів формування ціннісних орієнтацій і їх впливі на розвиток особистості. Визначено, що професійно-цінніс-ні орієнтації виступають змістовим складником професійного самовизначення учнів і є провідною регу-лювальною функцією самопізнання, самоставлення, саморегуляції. Відповідно, виконуючи мотиваційну, спонукальну роль, професійно-ціннісні орієнтації спрямовують людину на самозміни та саморух.З метою висвітлення методики вивчення стану сформованості професійно-ціннісних орієнтацій у учнів у статті надано авторське визначення поняття «професійно-ціннісні орієнтації у учнів до тру-дової діяльності», визначено (на основі компонентно-процесуальної моделі свідомого привласнення зростаючою особистістю духовних цінностей (І. Бех)) його компонентна структура (пізнавальний, емоційно-мотиваційний, довільного імпульсу, практично-дієвий та самоціннісний компоненти і від-повідні до них показники) та охарактеризовано рівні їх сформованості (високий, середній, низький). Надано перелік методик для діагностики рівнів сформованості професійно-ціннісних орієнтацій у учнів, які широко використовуються в психолого-педагогічній практиці, що свідчить про їх надій-ність та відповідність віковому виміру психологічної структури особистості підлітка і старшоклас-ника. Зроблено висновок, що описана методика дасть змогу повною мірою дослідити особливості професійно-ціннісних орієнтацій сучасних учнів старшого підліткового та юнацького віку до трудо-вої діяльності. In the article the author analyzes modern domestic and foreign approaches to the definition of professional and value orientations. It is concluded that in the context of the research topic, foreign scholars mainly study the influence of certain socio-psychological factors on the value sphere of employees. Instead, domestic scholars focus more on psychological and pedagogical analysis of the mechanisms of formation of value orientations and their impact on personality development. It is determined that professional and value orientations are a semantic component of professional self-determination of students and are the leading regulatory function of self-knowledge, self-attitude, self-regulation. Accordingly, performing a motivational, motivating role, professional and value orientations direct a person to self-change and self-movement.In order to highlight the methodology of studying the state of formation of professional and value orientations in students, the article provides the author’s definition of “professional value orientations in students to work”, defined (based on component-procedural model of conscious appropriation of spiritual values by a growing person (I. Bekh)) its component structure (cognitive, emotional-motivational, arbitrary impulse, practical-effective and self-valuable components and corresponding indicators) and the levels of their formation (high, medium, low) are characterized. A list of methods for diagnosing the levels of formation of professional and value orientations in students, which are widely used in psychological and pedagogical practice, indicates their reliability and compliance with the age dimension of the psychological structure of the personality of adolescents and high school students. It is concluded that the described method will allow to fully explore the features of professional and value orientations of modern students of older adolescence and adolescence to work.

Resumo: Com o objetivo de estimular estudantes do ensino médio de uma instituição federal de ensino a ampliar o interesse nos estudos e os índices de aprendizagem na área da Ciências da Natureza, desenvolveu-se um projeto de ensino que abordou conteúdos de Astronomia, Física e Astronáutica. Seu propósito foi a preparação para a realização da prova da Olimpíada Brasileira de Astronomia e Astronáutica e a participação nas atividades da Mostra Brasileira de Foguetes. Desse modo, o presente trabalho relata o planejamento e as atividades desenvolvidas no referido projeto, bem como os resultados e as experiências ali vivenciadas com os estudantes em ambiente além da sala de aula. O planejamento e a organização do material instrucional e das atividades práticas, assim como sua aplicação e desenvolvimento, tiveram o embasamento nas teorias da aprendizagem de David Ausubel e Lev Vygotsky. Certifica-se que as atividades proporcionaram aos presentes momentos de interação social, aprendizagem, diversão e expectativa. Além disso, houve um número expressivo de alunos premiados com medalhas na Olimpíada Brasileira de Astronomia e Astronáutica e na Mostra Brasileira de Foguetes, levando ao reconhecimento de que a ação de ensino desenvolvida foi exitosa. Palavras-chave: Aprendizagem significativa. Foguetes de garrafas pet. PREPARATORY ACTIVITIES FOR THE OLIMPÍADA DE CONHECIMENTO [KNOWLEDGE BEE EVENT] AND MOSTRA CIENTÍFICA [SCIENTIFIC FAIR] VIA A TEACHING PROJECT: A PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE REPORTAbstract: This piece of work presents a report of a teaching project in which the subjects Astronomy, Physics and Astronautics have been addressed with the aim of stimulating high school students from a federal teaching institution to increase interest in studies and the rates of learning in the area of Natural Sciences. The definition of these subjects had the purpose of helping the students to take the test on Olimpíada Brasileira de Astronomia e Astronáutica [Brazilian Olympiad of Astronomy and Astronautics] well as participating in Mostra Brasileira de Foguetes [the Brazilian Rocket Fair]. Thus, the present work reports the planning and the activities developed by the project, as well as the results and the experiences shared with the students beyond classroom. The planning and the organization of instructional material and practical activities, as well as their application and development, were based on David Ausubel’s and Lev Vygotsky’s learning theories. This is to certify that the reported activities provided the students with moments of social interaction, learning, fun and expectation. In addition, there were a significant number of students who won medals at Brazilian Olympiad on Astronomy and Astronautics and the Brazilian Rocket Fair, leading to the confirmation that the developed teaching project, by and large, has been successful.Keywords: Meaningful learning. The article presents the results of a three-year sociological study of the causes of social tension among the youth in Kuban as a polyethnic region. Based on the results of the survey of high school students, university students and young workers, the authors consider the youth’s attitudes to the current government, priorities of state policy, events in Ukraine and Syria, assess the state of interethnic relations in the North Caucasus and the role of Cossacks in Kuban. The article emphasizes that the inconsistency of worldviews and attitudes of the Kuban youth to these issues increased in 2017, i.e. the potential for conflicts on national and political grounds increased, which lead to the growth of social activity of participants in both patriotic actions and social protests. Today, the rejuvenation of social protests is obvious for more and more schoolchildren and teenagers take part in them. There is a growth of both the youth support for state patriotism and radical anti-state protests, and in general the number of the youth indifferent and detached from social processes declines. There is a danger of polarization and radicalization of the youth and accumulation of latent conflict potential. The state patriotic education aiming to ensure the traditional value of sacrifice for the country is eroded by the propaganda of liberal individualism and consumerism which deny such a value; the promotion of volunteerism and mutual aid comes into conflict with the ideas of leadership and competitiveness, and the values of interethnic and inter-religious friendship and respect - with the ideas of interethnic and interfaith tolerance. The return to traditional values proclaimed by the state faces the westernization trends, which determines the youth’s worldview inconsistency.

The article presents theoretical analysis of the leadership phenomenon in different fields of scientific knowledge. It is emphasized that leadership is a result of the leader's activity as a member of the group. It is carried out analysis of concepts «leadership» and «leader» in the context of leadership theories: theory of leader roles, theory of lines of leadership, interactive theory, situational theory, synthetic theory. Age peculiarities of leadership in the school environment are characterized. An important stage in the development of leadership and the formation of leadership qualities defined early youth age as period of accumulation of leader potential, becoming of personality identity, and professional self-determination, production of value orientations for expansion social situation of personality development and integration into the social space. It is marked that leadership qualities are generalized qualities of a leader in relation to creating a new vision for solving a problem, successfully influencing followers to achieve common goals with the group. The main components of the student’s model of leadership qualities are highlighted and characterized. Based on analysis of leadership qualities and psychological features of high school students the content of their leadership determines interrelation of tendency to leadership with communicative-organizational and motivational components of the leadership qualities model. The research results of the content of leadership in modern graduates of secondary schools are presented. Empirically tested and defined links between tendency to leadership and development level of leadership qualities (communication skills and motivation to success) students of the 10th and 11th grades.

Introduction. The problem of improving the process of organizing and supporting the project and research activities of schoolchildren through intelligent management for the purpose of self-organization of the individual, understanding and comprehending complex mathematical knowledge as a principle of personal development is relevant and far from solved. Intelligent systems provide the process of individualization of learning, the establishment of personalized and computerized feedback of cognitive and creative processes. The purpose of the article is to assess the student's readiness for research activities in the context of designing a hybrid intelligent learning environment. Materials and methods. The assessment of the student's psychological readiness for research activities in the conditions of using a hybrid intellectual environment was carried out on an experimental representative sample of students of 1-2 courses of secondary vocational education (n1=42) and students of the senior classes of secondary schools (n2=30). The diagnosis was carried out using the intelligence structure test of R. Amthauer, the creativity questionnaire of D. Johnson, the test "Individual styles of thinking" by A. Alekseev, L. Gromova, the methods of value orientations by M. Rokich, etc. The significance of the differences was established by means of Student's t-test, Fisher's angular transformation, χ2-test. The results of the study. The assessment of psychological readiness for research activities in mathematics was carried out on the basis of the developed nine parameters of scientific potential. The presented results allow us to pre-set the framework of boundary conditions in order to minimize the imprinting time of a hybrid intelligent system (including the selection of the neural network topology). For all three groups of criteria, differences by gender were established, for example, by the parameter "value orientations" (temp  = 2.26 > tcr = 2.02); by the parameter "creativity" (χemp2 = 6,02 ≥ χcr2 (0,05;2) = 5,99). And also by the type of educational institution, for example, by the parameter “motivation to achieve the result” (φemp = 0,186 > φcr = 1,64). Conclusion. The results of the research are of practical value, as they serve as a technological basis for establishing the boundaries and boundary conditions of the most significant parameters for the effective realization of scientific potential, expressed in the work of a specialized web interface created with the student's personal account.

While national surveillance studies have stratified high school students’ health behavior outcomes, few ecological data sets have been explored, collected, and analyzed on the unique health problems of minority children. An area for which limited data on minority youth has been collected is Franklin County, home of the state capital of Kentucky. In the current study, we use baseline data collected in 2015 from students attending two high schools that were sites for Kentucky State University’s Youth Empowerment Project. We hypothesize that youth who reside in Franklin County would report lower maladjusted behaviors than their national and statewide counterparts in the same year of observation. Data analyses confirm that compared to their national- and state-level counterparts, Franklin County high school students were less likely to report riding with a driver who had been drinking alcohol, engaging in sexual intercourse, drinking alcohol before sexual intercourse, and experiencing non-condom use when engaged in sexual intercourse, forced sexual intercourse, dating violence, cyber bullying, suicidal ideation, and drug use. These findings suggest that Franklin County high school students may be exposed to environmental variables that may be preventive to maladjusted behaviors.

The definition of environment, which disregard the changes resulting from historical progressive rupture of man in relation to his surroundings, is one of the conceptual errors that hinder the understanding and solution of environmental problems of the present. Such difficulties are deepened by the extreme specialization of knowledge that undermined the understanding of environmental problems, making critical analysis urgent and able to integrate different areas of knowledge. Science and technology fairs can be seen as important initiatives to this integration. Thus, this study aimed to verify the perception of students participating in Febrace (Brazilian Science and Engineering Fair) in relation to the environment and the impacts of this fair in raising awareness about that issue. This is a quali-quantitative research based on bibliographic and documentary surveys and interviews with primary and secondary students who were responsible for the projects presented in that fair. The results showed that the majority of respondents (over 74%) have a more elaborate and globalizing vision of the concept of environment. It was also found that, in general, interviewed students could observe positive influences of the fair on their environmental perception and felt more interested and motivated to understand and discuss environmental problems.

The study aims to explore the differential-regulatory predictors of academic performance in the graduating classes of high school. Conscious self-regulation is considered as a universal and exceptional resource for achieving educational goals in the final grades. In modern conditions of digitalization of the educational process and increasing information flows, the individuals’ ability to set goals and optimally achieve them, while maintaining curiosity, achievement motivation, and the desire to develop their personality, is of particular value. The main research question is: what regulatory, motivational, and personal characteristics of students with different regulatory profiles act as their psychological resources for successful school graduation? The study aims to investigate the contribution of regulatory, motivational, and personal characteristics to the annual assessment in mathematics and Russian in high school students with different profiles of conscious self-regulation. The following results were obtained from a sample of students in grades 9–11 (N = 355, average age M = 15.81 ± 0.926). Regression models of the contributions of regulatory, motivational, personal, and emotional-motivational indicators to the performance in mathematics and Russian were constructed for six selected individual typological groups of students. The results showed that only a high harmonious profile of self-regulation ensures that the student is “focused” on high academic achievements. Any conflict in the motivational or personal sphere distracts the resources of the graduate from educational activities. The process of self-regulation (Modeling) is suppressed in all groups as a result of preparation for exams. The regulatory profile and motivational and personal characteristics of students who risk not passing the examination tests without the intervention of teachers and psychologists are determined.
