The paper is devoted to determining the output parameters of a servomotor, which belongs to synchronous machines with permanent magnets, in order to further determine the characteristics of transient modes in the software package ANSYS Electromagnetics. RMxprt, part of ANSYS Electromagnetics, allows to determine the parameters of windings, losses, motor performance, but requires filling out a form with a complete set of geometric dimensions and winding data. Of course, such data are not available in the motor data sheet, so the first task solved in the paper is to determine all the necessary and sufficient parameters to perform the calculation in RMxprt. The results of the calculations were compared with the measurements on the experimental servomotor EMG-10APA22. This paper shows how to export a servomotor object from RMxprt to the Simplorer workspace, which is also part of the ANSYS Electromagnetics. According to the simulation results in ANSYS Simplorer, the characteristics of the transient modes of the servomotor powered by a stable three-phase source are obtained. Prospects for further research related to the improvement of the simulation model in ANSYS Simplorer are presented.

This paper presents a framework to carry out the BLDC motor characteristics using code composer studio software interfaced with a GUI named InstaSpinBLDC. The three phase BLDC motor is driven with DRV8312 and a control card TMS320F28069 is used to run the sensor InstaSpin BLDC. This proposed work is intended to track the dynamic performance and lower the minimum operating speed with respect to control modes. Four control modes have been modelled in conjunction of three phase inverter for BLDC motor. The simulation includes all realistic values and components of the motor. Three-phase inverter and its control algorithm are modeled and simulated using MATLAB Simulink. Hardware results have been presented along with the simulation results.

In this paper, a novel dual-stator permanent magnet machine (DsPmSynM) with low cost and high torque density is designed. The winding part of the DsPmSynM adopts phase-group concentrated-coil windings, and the permanent magnets are arranged by spoke-type. Firstly, the winding structure reduces the amount of copper at the end of the winding. Secondly, the electromagnetic torque ripple of DsPmSynM is suppressed by reducing the cogging torque. Furthermore, the dynamic performance of DsPmSynM is studied. Finally, the experimental results are compared with the simulation results.

The multilevel inverter is attracting the specialist in medium and high voltage applications, among its types, the cascade H bridge Multi-Level Inverter (MLI), commonly used for high power and high voltage applications. The main advantage of the conventional cascade (MLI) is generated a large number of output voltage levels but it demands a large number of components that produce complexity in the control circuit, and high cost. Along these lines, this paper presents a brief about the non-conventional cascade multilevel topologies that can produce a high number of output voltage levels with the least components. The non-conventional cascade (MLI) in this paper was built to reduce the number of switches, simplify the circuit configuration, uncomplicated control, and minimize the system cost. Besides, it reduces THD and increases efficiency. Two topologies of non-conventional cascade MLI three phase, the Nine level and Seventeen level are presented. The PWM technique is used to control the switches. The simulation results show a better performance for both topologies. THD, the power loss and the efficiency of the two topologies are calculated and drawn to the different values of the Modulation index (ma).

The main subject of this study is the investigation of the free vibration of a rectangular prismatic piezoceramic cantilever with longitudinal polarization and electrode coatings. Based on the general solution of coupled equations for piezoceramic material, applying the equations of electro-elasticity and satisfying electrical and mechanical conditions for the stress of a cantilever made from PZT4 piezoceramic material, componential displacements, electric potential, specific strain, electric field, and piezoelectric displacement, are determined and numerically obtained with Matlab software package. Based on the obtained equations and simulation results, it is possible to optimize the dimensions of the cantilever and determine the type of piezoceramic.

In high power traction system applications two or more machines are fed by one converter. This topology results in a light, more compact and less costly system. These systems are called multi-machines single-converter systems. The problems posed by different electrical and mechanical couplings in these systems (MMS) affect various stages of the systems and require control strategy to reduce adverse effects. Control of multi-machines single-converter systems is the subject of this paper. The studied MMS is an electric vehicle with four in-wheel PMS motors. A three-leg inverter supplies two permanent magnet synchronous machines which are connected to the front right and rear right wheels, and another inverter supplies the left side. Several methods have been proposed for the control of multi-machines single-inverter systems, the master-slave control structure seems best adapted for our traction system. In this paper, a new control structure based on DTC method is used for the control of bi-machine traction system of an EV. This new control has been implanted in simulation to analyze its robustness in the presence of the various load cases involved in our electric vehicle traction chain. Simulation results indicated that this structure control allowed the stability of the traction system.

Plants produce a diverse portfolio of sesquiterpenes that are important in their response to herbivores and the interaction with other plants. Their biosynthesis from farnesyl diphosphate depends on the sesquiterpene synthases. Here, we investigate to what extent metabolic pathways can be reconstructed just from knowledge of the final product and the reaction mechanisms catalyzed by sesquiterpene synthases. We use the software package MedØlDatschgerl (MØD) to generate chemical networks and elucidate pathways contained in them. As examples, we successfully consider the reachability of the important plant sesquiterpenes β-caryophyllene, α-humulene, and β-farnesene. We also introduce a graph database to integrate simulation results with experimental biological evidence for selected predicted sesquiterpenes biosynthesis.

This manuscript proposes a comparative analysis of BLDC motor performance at various ratings. The BLDC motor may act as a replacement for conventional engines such as the Brushed DC motor, the induction motor, the switched reluctance motors, etc. Because of the BLDC motor's overweight merits, modeling is performed to improve system performance. The torque feature of BLDC motor plays an extremely significant aspect in the fabrication of the BLDC motor drive device, so it is crucial to approximation the exact torque value that is calculated by the simulation of the model proposed in MATLAB software. In the MATLAB / Simulink setting, different ratings of BLDC motor are simulated after the creation of the straightforward analytical model of the three-phase BLDC motor with counter electromotive force trapezoidal waveforms. Based on the review, a comparative examination of each valued engine outcome is displayed in the MATLAB environment's Graphical User Interface.
