Decline in cognitive function in the elderly is not considered reasonable, and can be inhibited with brain gym activity.The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of brain exercise on cognitive function in the elderly in RT 03 RW 01 Tandes Village. Design of this study Pre-Experiment with one grop pre post test,the population are from ten of elderly aged 60-74 years. Sampling by simple random sampling, gained 6 people. The independent variable is the gymnastics of the brain and the dependent variable is a function cognitive. The data colledted by using the MMSE tabulation of data editing, coding, processing, celaning, tabulating and analyzed by Wilcoxon Sign Rank with α = 0.05. The results showed that prior to the brain gym majority (66.7%) had moderate cognitive impairment after brain gym majority (66.7%) are not impaired cognitive function. After the Wilcoxon signed rank test obtained value ρ = 0.014 <α = 0.05 so that H0 is rejected, it means that there is the influence of brain exercise on cognitive function in the elderly. Conclusions from this research is the brain exercises can improve cognitive function in the elderly in RT 03 RW 01 Tandes village. Brain gym should be applied in Posyandu every 3 times a week as more routine brain exercise in the elderly, then cognitive function will be increased, then can make the decline in function cognitive slowly.

The decline of cognitive function is a process of mental decline that include attention, language, memory, orientation capability, calculation and reasoning. Cognitive function changed significantly along the trajectories of the aging process. The function of Brain gym is important to improve brain function decline of the cognitive function in the elderly. The way of brain gym is to make a balance between the left and right brain functions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brain gym to the enhancement of cognitive function in elderly at UPT PSLU Blitar. Method: The research design was one group pre-post test design on December 2-21 Juli 2014. The sampel of the research was 18 elderly at UPT PSLU Blitar, it was chosen using purposive sampling. The data analysis used Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. Result: The results showed that the elderly cognitive decline before doing the brain gym were 9 people (50%) in the category of severe, and after doing the brain gym the result were increased in the category of normal. There was significant effect in the catogories of cognitive function with p value 0.00. Discussion: It was suggested for nurses that brain gym had an effect to the improvement of cognitive function to elderly.

Brain gym can improve memory, decreased emotional stress and the clearer mind. The aim of the study analyzed the effectiveness of brain gym in improving cognitive function and decreased the level of stress of elderly. Pre-experimental study of one group pretest-posttest design with 35 samples selected by simple random sampling. The frequency of Brain Gym exercise twice a week with duration of every 15 minutes and done in four weeks. Measurement of stress level using DASS, while Cognitive function with MMSE. Data analyzed using Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results showed improvement of cognitive function in elderly and decreased stress level after brain gym (p = 0.001 and p = 0.009 at α = 0.05). Brain gyms are more effective at lowering stress levels than older cognitive function improvements that require longer and more intense time to improve concentration and elderly memory.   Keywords: Brain Gym, Kognitif, Stress, Elderly

Selama proses penyusunan skripsi mahasiswa ditantang dan dilatih untuk melakukan serangkaian kegiatan yang bersifat ilmiah yang menguji suatu teori dan memecahkan suatu permasalahan dengan pola pikir yang kritis ( critical thinking).Stres mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi, disebabkan karena susahnya mencari referensi dan tekanan tugas yang deadline. Salah satu terapi untuk menurunkan stres adalah terapi senam otak (Brain Gym). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi senam otak (Brain Gym) terhadap tingkat stres mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pre test-post test. Sampel dalam penelitian ini didapatkan 66 orang dengan tehnik simple random sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Stikes Wira Medika Bali. Tingkat stres diukur dengan kuesioner DASS 42. Hasil penelitian didapatkan tingkat stres mahasiswa sebelum diberikan senam otak (Brain Gym) sebanyak 43 orang dengan kategori tingkat stres sedang, dan tingkat stres mahasiswa setelah diberikan terapi senam otak (Brain Gym) 50 orang dengan kategori tingkat stres ringan. Hasil uji statistic Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05 menunjukan nilai p = 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian, ada pengaruh senam otak (Brain Gym) terhadap tingkat stres mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disarankan bagi yang mengalami stres dalam mengerjakan tugas akhir dapat menggunakan terapi senam otak (Brain Gym) tersebut untuk mengurangi tingkat stres.

ABSTRAKReumatoid Artritis (RA) merupakan penyakit muscoloskelektal yang sering terjadi pada usia lanjut. Gangguan pada system muscoloskelektal yang ditandai dengan munculnya nyeri sendi dan kekakuan yang mengakibatkan penurunan kemampuan fisiologis atau kualitas hidup lansia. Dampak dari Reumatoid Artritis dapat menimbulkan beberapa keluhan dan dapat menyebabkan kelumpuhan. Untuk menganalisis efektifitas kompres jahe merah hangat dan kompres serai hangat terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri artitris remauthoid pada lanjut usia.Metode Penelitian: Jenis penelitian adalah quasy experimental dengan two group pre – post test design. Subjek adalah sebagian lansia yang penderita Arthritis Remathoid di Desa Sumberagung Kecamatan Dander Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Subjek dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok I (n=15) diberi perlakuan kompres jahe hangat dan II (n=15) diberi perlakuan kompres serai hangat. Analisis yang digunakan uji Mann Whitney U Test dan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test dengan ingkat kemaknaan α = 0,05.Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, didapat keduanya mempunyai nilai kemaknaan yaitu ρ value = 0,000. Nilai ρ = 0,031 pada kelompok kompres serai hangat dan kelompok kompres jahe merah ρ value = 0,165. Hasil uji Mann Withney U Test pada Post perlakuan kedua terapi diperoleh selisih nilai nyeri pada kompres jahe ρ= 0,003 dan selisih nilai nyeri kompres serai ρ value = 0,001.Penggunaan kompres jahe merah lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan kompres serai terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri arthritis remathoid. Kata Kunci: usia lanjut, Reumatoid Artritis (RA), jahe merah, serai, perbedaan efektifitas.    ABSTRACTReumatoid Artritis (RA) is a musculoskeletal which frequently occurs in the elderly. The disorders in the musculoskeletal system are noted by the occurrence of pain in the joints and stiffness which reduces the physiological abilities or life quality of the elderly. The disease causes many such complaints and  consequences of the disease rheumatoid arthritis may experience paralysis. The aims of this study is to analyze the effect of warm red ginger compress therapy and warm lemongrass compress therapy against of  Decreased pain intensity in  the elderly  with  artitris remauthoid. The study was Queasy experimental with two group pre – post test design. Subjects were some elderly people with Arthritis Remathoid in Sumberagung Village, Dander Sub District, Bojonegoro District. Subjects were divided into two groups: group I (n-15) with warm ginger compress therapy, and II (n=15) with warm lemongrass compress therapy. The analyses used in this study were the Mann Whitney U Test and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with α of 0.05. Results of Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained Both have meaning p value of  0.000. ρ value = 0,031 in a warm lemongrass compress therapy group and obtained of warm ginger compress therapy group ρ value = 0,165. The results of Mann Withney U Test on Post treatment second therapy, obtained difference of warm ginger compress therapy with ρ value= 0,003 and difference of warm lemongrass compress therapy with ρ value = 0,001.The use of warm ginger compresses therapy are more effective than a warm lemongrass compress therapy against decreased pain intensity in  the elderly  with  artitris remauthoid.  Keywords: elderly, artitris remauthoid, red ginger, lemongrass, differences in effectiveness

This research aims to find out the effect of Brain Gym on elementary student’s concentration. There was one group on this pra-experimental research, which measured the pre-test and post-test concentrations. 30 samples in this research were selected by purposive sampling technique from level 5 and 6 elementary students. These 30 students were set to do Brain Gym 3 times per week for 4 weeks. We find out from this research that group concentration’s pre test mean result was= 13.633 and for post-test was= 21.00. Wilcoxon signed rank test shows ρ=0,000. Those means that Brain Gym give significant effect on increasing students concentration. We can conclude that students can be increased concentration of learning by practicing Brain Gym regularly. Students may practicing this Brain Gym exercise at least 3 times per week at home in this pandemic condition, or before starting face to face learning when the pandemic is over

The fitness condition of the elderly is an indicator that can be used to determine the health level of the elderly. The level of physical activity is one of the factors that determine body composition from childhood to old age, proper flexibility helps people to have a functional balance throughout their life and to participate fully in countless recreational and communitarian activities. Lack of reasonable flexibility a greater chance of developing lesions and functional problems. Gymnastics for the elderly is a sport that can be done regularly so that the fitness of the elderly can increase. The study was to determine the effect of elderly exercise on improving fitness and flexibility and speed in the elderly in Sionom Hudon Selatan Village in 2020. Method of research is Quasi Experiment or quasi-experimental research with the design or research design used is one group pre and post test conducted in the Village of Sionom Hudon Selatan.The sample consisted of 12 people in each action taken. The results of the hypothesis test with the Wilcoxon signed rank test test p value α = (0.002 <0.05) which means "There is an effect of Giving Elderly Gymnastics Against Improvement of Fitness and Flexibility and Speed in the Elderly in the Village of Zion South Hudon in 2020".

ABSTRACTAging is something that can cause health problems, both physical and mental health for the elderly. Anxiety is one of mental health experienced in the elderly. If it continues to ignored, it will have an impact to the memories or nightmares experienced by the elderly will recur, therefore the quality of the elderly's sleep will diminish. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Tai Chi Gymnastics on Elderly Anxiety.The study design used the One Group Pre-Post Test Design, the sample was elderly at the Posyandu Perintis Ngagel Rejo Surabaya.32 subject taken by Simple Random Sampling technique. The Independent Variable is Tai Chi Gymnastics, the dependent variable is Anxiety. Anxiety instruments were measured using the HRS-A questionnaire. Data were analyzed by the Wilcoxon test with significance ? = 0.05. The results of the study before being given Tai Chi Gymnastics were mostly (59.4%) respondents had mild anxiety. After being given Tai Chi Gymnastics most (59.4%) respondents were not experiencing anxiety (normal). Analysis of the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test obtained p = 0,000 <? = 0.05, meaning that there is an effect of Tai Chi Gymnastics on decreasing anxiety. Conclusions from this study that Tai Chi exercise can reduce anxiety in the elderly. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Senam Tai Chi Terhadap Kecemasan Lansia.Desain penelitian menggunakan One Group Pre- Post Test Design, sampel adalah lansia di Posyandu Perintis Ngagel Rejo Surabaya sebesar 32 Orang yang diambil dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Variabel Independen adalah Senam Tai Chi, variabel dependen adalah Kecemasan.Instrumen Kecemasan diukur menggunakan kuesioner HRS-A. Data dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon dengan kemaknaan?= 0,05.Hasil penelitian sebelum diberikan Senam Tai Chi sebagian besar (59,4 %) responden mempunyai kecemasan ringan. Setelah diberikan Senam Tai Chi sebagian besar (59,4 %) responden tidak cemas (normal). Analisa uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test didapatkan p=0,000< ? =0,05, artinya ada pengaruh Senam Tai Chi terhadap penurunan kecemasan.Simpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa senam Tai Chi dapat menurunkan kecemasan pada lansia.Diharapkan perawat dapat memberikan senam Tai Chi sebagai intervensi keperawatan mandiri perawat dalam penatalaksanaan penurunan kecemasan.Kata Kunci :Kecemasan, Lansia, Senam Tai Chi.

Abstract :Toilet learning in children is an attempt to train children to be able to control in defecating and urinating. The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of stimulation to the toilet learning ability of toddler. The research usedPre-Experimental One-Group Pre-test-post test design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The statistical test used wilcoxon signed rank test. The population was 14 toddler of PosyanduBendowulungKabupatenBlitar. The result showed that there was an effect of stimulation to the ability of toilet learning of 1 to 3 years old toddler. The Statistical test result using Wilcoxon sign rank test obtained p value = 0,000 (<0,05). It is expected to increase knowledge about the implementation of toilet learning stimulation, especially for parents to make their children more indepen- dent. Keywords: Stimulation, Toilet learning.
