Organizational performance  is an important issue for researchers and managers including managers in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for it can be the indicator of success. It also provides accurate information for startegic decision making.Many factors influence organizational performance. One of them is knowledge management (KM) practices. Theoretically and empirically, effective KM practices improve performance. Many researches have been conducted in regard of HEI performance. Unfortunately, in the context of private HEIs in the City of Jambi, the literature and empirical evidences are very rare. This current research aims to fill the gap. It also aims to examine its link with organizational performance. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaire to randomly-selected lecturers and employees. Further, the data was analyzed with regression analysis by applying SPSS V.26. The result shows that knowledge dissemination and knowledge storage system partially and simultenously affect organizational performance. Interestingly, the constanta value in the regression model is negative. This implies that performance might be decreased if KM is not implemented. Then, it is suggested to private HEI operators especially those in the City of Jambi implement KM.

<p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Intansi Kearsipan memiliki berbagai pengetahuan yang digunakan untuk pengelolaan arsip yang dimilikinya, <em>knowledge management</em> digunakan untuk mengumpulkan, mengelola, dan menyebarluaskan pengetahuan yang dimiliki, sehingga pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh instansi kearsipan dapat digunakan untuk kemajuan intansi dan tidak hilang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Salatiga. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara petugas kearsipan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang pengetahuan yang dimiliki dan cara penyimpanan serta penyebarluasan yang diterapkan di intansi kearsipan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh intansi kearsipan sesuai dengan model <em>Choo-Sense Making</em>, untuk kemudian diterapkan di <em>Confluence</em> sesuai dengan hasil dari pengolahan data dengan model <em>Choo-Sense Making</em>. Hasil dari penelitian ini untuk model <em>Choo-Sense Making</em> pengetahuan di intansi kearsipan dibagi atas 3 tahap yaitu <em>Sense Making</em> yang berisi tentang pengetahuan yang berasal dari luar intansi dibuatkan wadah sebagai media diskusi, <em>chatting,</em> <em>Knowledge Creating</em> berisi tentang pengetahuan-pengetahuan yang dimiliki intansi kearsipan yang telah di dokumentasikan diubah dalam betuk <em>softfile</em> kemudian diunggah kedalam <em>space</em> untuk memudahkan penyimpanan serta penyebarluasan pengetahuan yang dimiliki, dan <em>Decision Making</em> yang berisi tentang jadwal-jadwal intansi dan evaluasi yang dilakukan intansi kearsipan. Hasil dari model <em>Choo-Sense Making</em> dimasukan ke <em>Confluence</em>, memperoleh hasil <em>space</em> yang dapat memudahkan menyimpan pengetahuan yang dimiliki berupa file aplikasi, <em>softfile</em>, serta memudahkan dalam pencarian kembali dan penyerluasan pengetahuan yang dimiliki. Penerapan <em>Choo-Sense Making</em> selain untuk mempermudah penyimpanan dan penyerbaluasan serta komunikasi, dapat mengurangi resiko kehilangan pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh intansi kearsipan.<strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Kata kunci<em>: </em></strong><em>Knowledge Management, Model Choo-Sense Making, Confluence</em>, Perpustakaan dan Arsip</p><p align="center"><em>Abstract</em></p><p><em>Archival Agency has several knowledge that are used to manage the owned archive, knowledge management is used to collect, manage and disseminate the owned knowledge so that the knowledge that the archival agency has can be used for the agency progress and it will not missing. The research is conducted in Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Salatiga. Data collecting is conducted by interviewing the archival officer to gather data related to its knowledge, the storage system and dissemination applied in this archival agency. Data analysis is conducted by categorizing the agency knowledge according to Choo-Sense Making model and then it is applied in Confluence in accordance with the result of the data analysis from the Choo-Sense Making model. The result of this research, for Choo-Sense Making model, the knowledge in the archival agency is divided into 3 steps; Sense Making, Knowledge Creating and Decision Making. Sense Making contains knowledge coming from the outside of the agency that has forum as discussion media, chatting. Knowledge Creating contains knowledge that owned by the archival agency that has been documented and changed in the form of softfile then uploaded into space to ease the storage and the knowledge dissemination. Decision Making is about agency schedules and evaluation toward the activity in this archival agency. The result of Choo-Sense Making Model is input into Confluence, get space result that ease to save the knowledge in the form of application file, softfile, and ease to search and disseminate the owned knowledge. The application of Choo-Sense Making eases the storage system, dissemination, and communication. This chapter reveals the roles of lifelong learning and knowledge management (KM) in global higher education, thus explaining the theoretical and practical concepts of lifelong learning and KM; the application of KM; and the significance of lifelong learning and KM in global higher education. The utilization of lifelong learning and KM is necessary for higher education institutions (HEIs) that seek to serve students and faculties, increase educational performance, strengthen competitiveness, and achieve continuous success in global higher education. Therefore, it is essential for HEIs to examine their lifelong learning applications, develop a strategic plan to regularly check their practical advancements, and immediately respond to lifelong learning and KM needs of customers in modern HEIs. Applying lifelong learning and KM in global higher education will significantly enhance organizational performance and reach strategic goals in the digital age.

PurposeThe study explores the impact of knowledge-oriented leadership (KOL) on knowledge management (KM) processes and the indirect relationship of KM processes with organizational performance (OP) via mediating the role of creative organizational learning (COL) in cross-cultural settings.Design/methodology/approachThis research used a survey structure of 784 faculty and admin personnel from higher education institutions in China and Pakistan. Smart-PLS, 3.2.9 was used to perform analysis.FindingsThe result shows a significant positive influence of KOL on KM processes and KM processes on OP via the partial mediating effect of COL in China, Pakistan and the overall sample. The multi-group analysis confirmed the substantial differential effect of KOL on KM processes.Practical implicationsOutcomes of this research affirm KM's university practice and recommend how higher education academics and administrators prioritize KOL, KM processes and COL while strengthening OP in a culturally different environment.Originality/valueThe current research is among the initial experiments to determine KOL, KM processes, COL and organizational (University) performance relationships in a culturally different environment. The study is among the initials that just not empirically explore the associations between the factors but sheds light on existing literature by immediately exploring COL's mediating position in China and Pakistan's HEIs.

This chapter aims to present a conceptual model in order to facilitate sustainability in cloud computing resulting in sustainability in organizational knowledge in education. From one perspective, while cloud computing has been considered as a recent area of research due to arguments round its value to organizational performance, sustainability has turned to be a typical common norm due to the discovery of uncertainty in various human aspects. From a different perspective, the role of Knowledge Management in enhancing organisational success has been detected in different researches. The main consensus after these researches is that the more effective management of knowledge is, the more effective the organizational performance will be. Therefore, this chapter presents a theoretical framework of potential links among cloud computing, knowledge management and sustainability.

The present study aimed to examine the mediating role of organizational learning in the relationship between knowledge management and organizational performance in HEIs, KP, Pakistan. Teachers working in the Universities were considered the sample (n=338) of the study. A structured questionnaire comprised items about research variables administered in order to collect data. Baron and Kennys (1986) four-step models applied through Preacher and Hayes (2013) Process macro as a data analysis technique. The current study results show that organizational learning acts partially mediates in the association between KM and OP. Moreover, enriching the literature on this understanding, the present study is also of value in managerial perspective as it helps increase higher education institutions (HEIs) knowledge on how to boost and enhance the performance of the organization by engaging in KM activities.

The purpose of this study was to determine the perception and understanding of MSME centers business on the application of SAK EMKM starting Januari 1, 2018 at the MSME Business Center in Bandung. In this study the data used are primary data, that is data obtained directly from the object under study. Data obtained through questionnaires to several MSME business center operastors int the city of Bandung. Sampling was carried out using the Sloving formula, resulting in 336 MSME respondents. The regression model used in this study to use Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this study by t test (partial) showed that the perception of MSME actors did not effect the implementation of SAK EMKM and the understanding of MSME actors influenced the implementation of SAK EMKM. While the F test (simultaneous) showed that the perception and understanding of MSME actors influence the implementation of SAK EMKM.
