The Spermonde Island consists of 120 is one of the island's territory the spread of coral reefs is quite extensive, which is located in the territorial waters of Makassar Strait is a wealth of biological resources that are potential good flora as well as fauna among them are Spiny Lobster (Panulirus spp). The purpose of this research is to know the kinds of Spiny Lobster, length-weight relationship and the sex ratio in the spermonde Island. To achieve these goals then performed the measurement of biological parameters, namely the measurement of length, weight, and sex ratio determination. The method to be used is the measurement of the length of the carapace with uses measurent board, heavy with weights, and to sex by looking at the characteristics on the abdomen. Observations made on the island was the location of a 6 catching Spiny Lobster by dividing three (3) Zones based on the distance from the coast and the population. Was found that there were three types of Spiny Lobster namely spiny lobster pearls (P. Ornatus) as 334 individual lobster or 39,06 %, Spiny Lobster bamboo (P. versicolor) as many as 312 individual lobster or 36,49 %, and Spiny Lobster batik (P. Longipes) as 209 individual lobster or 24,44 % .The sex ratio of spiny lobster of spiny lobster batik (P. longipes) is 0,51:0,49, or (1:1) , Spiny Lobster pearls (P.ornatus) is 0,51: 0,49 or (1:1) and Spiny Lobster bamboo (P. Versicolor) is 0,63: 0,37 or (2:1). Pattern growth Spiny Lobster bamboo is allometrik negative, and the pattern growth Spiny Lobster pearls and Spiny Lobster batik is allometrik major .

Bonylip barb (Osteochilus vittatus Valenciennes, 1842) is an indigenous fish which is the main target of fishermen in lake Rawa Pening. This study aims to determine the biological parameters including length-weight relationship, con-dition factor, and sex ratio of bonylip barb in lake Rawa Pening, Semarang Regency. Fish sampling was conducted biweekly from October 2019 to March 2020, caught using bamboo blinds operated by local fishermen. Data collected consisted of total length, individual weight, and sex. Data on the length-weight relationship and condition factors were analyzed descriptively, while the sex ratio was analyzed with the chi-square test (χ2). The results showed that female bonylip barb was obtained as many as 392 individuals with a length-range between 10.0-26.0 cm and a weight range between 14.5-264.1 g. The male counted 255 individuals with a length range of 10.2-22.4 cm and a weight range of 15.0-160.9 g. The growth pattern was allometric negative. The equation of the length-weight relationship of female was W = 0.0186 L 2.9096 (R² = 0.9527), and the male was W = 0.0151 L 2.9689 (R² = 0.9386). The value of the average condition factor of females was 1.05, and the males was 1.02. The condition factor in females was in excellent condition (> 1.05), and males were in good condition (0.95-1.05). The overall sex ratio of male and female was 1:1.54. It means that females population was significantly higher than males.

Biology of the spotted barb Barbodes binotatus (Valenciennes, 1842) in Barambai River, east Kalimantan is unknown. This study aimed to analyses sizes of fish, sex ratio, length-weight relationship and condition factor of the spotted barb. A total of 347 fish samples were collected by several gears in Barambai River from August to October 2017. The results of this research showed that the total length of the fish ranged from 45.67 to 146.01 mm and weight ranged from 1.27-43.34 g. The sex ratio of male and female were 1:1.12. The length-weight equations for males was W = 1x10-5 L3.063, W = 8x10-6L3.108 for females, and W = 9 x 10-6 L3.091 for both sexes. The condition factor (K) for the spotted barb was ranged between 0.826 – 2.214 with mean value of 1.163.

The study was carried out to determine length-weight relationship and sex ratio of a freshwater fish Amblypharyngodon mola (Hamilton 1822) collected from Dekar haor of Sunamganj district during the period of January to August 2017. A total of 2000 fishes were collected for the study and categorized these fishes into three groups namely males, females and combined sexes. Among 2000 mola 777 were male and 1223 were female. Length-weight equations and the correlation coefficients obtained for males, females and combined ones were: males Y = –1.97 + 3.00X, r = 0.883; females Y = –2.30 + 3.41X, r = 0.914 and combined Y = –2.11 + 3.16X, r = 0.904. Female’s A. mola attained more weight with the increases in length. Value of correlation coefficient ‘r’ was 0.883 for male and exhibited highly positive correlation between length and weight. On the contrary, ‘r’ value for female was 0.914 and it had also strongly positive correlation between length and weight relationships. Length-weight relationship of A. mola for male, female and combined sexes showed allometric pattern of growth. Condition factor ‘K’ for male, female and combined sexes was 1.09, 1.05 and 1.06, respectively and indicated better condition of fishes. The highest sex ratio (1 : 2.05) was found in May and the lowest (1 : 1.33) was in February. Dominance of females over males throughout the year was observed with an average ratio of male and female 1 : 1.57. Therefore, results of the study indicate that the existing hydrobiological conditions of the haor are conducive for food availability, free movement, feeding and better growth of the fish. Asiat.
