This study aims to be able to provide recommendations in the decision-making system related to the best lecturers at the Jakarta Chapter of the Indonesian Management Lecturer Forum. It is hoped that the research results can be used as input in the Best Lecturer decision making system with a more systematic system. This research was conducted through interviews, questionnaires and literature study related to the Lecturer profession. In the field, the assessment criteria are still rough, therefore this study must include all the criteria into the mechanism, rules, and codes. Analysis, each criterion is analyzed using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method in weighting. The cumulative results of the recapitulation of scores show that teaching is still a top priority in the implementation of the Tridaharma of Lecturers, after that the second priority is research, then community service and finally support in the form of participation in supporting activities and scientific development.

In current market conditions, the key to productive economic activity is the ability to provide a high-quality forecast, even in situations of insufficient information. Strategic forecasting refers to this type of activity, errors in which the actions of any company can have a detrimental effect on the fundamental level. The justification and selection of specific management decisions can often be carried out in conditions of uncertainty due to the inability to clearly predict the values of the final results of these decisions. The decision-making system within the framework of the strategic forecasting task should help maintain the effectiveness of actions by simplifying the picture of the real world by modelling it. While allowing to reduce the influence of the subjectivity of the personality of the decision-maker on the decision-making process itself

Private companies, government agencies and educational institutions are still experiencing difficulties in selecting employees / employees who are in accordance with their needs and experts in their respective fields. With the increasing number of workers who have different abilities, recruiting new employees requires selection of prospective employees at Ekasakti University, because if this is done manually, it will make it difficult for the staff to receive and also be prone to mistakes in decision making. The decision making system method (Decisions Support System) can be used to help the selection of new employee recipients with the AHP Method. Selection of new employee admissions by the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method can help solve the case of selecting employee recruitment. The model of applying dynamic logic applied in the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) has the advantage that the selection process provides very flexible results

The decision-making system for the selection of new postgraduate student admissions which is carried out manually requires 7 days to submit the decision results. The selection is very important, so that the quality of input (input) of prospective students can be maintained in accordance with established standards. Therefore we need a system that can help in the decision making process quickly, precisely, and accurately. The purpose of this study is to help postgraduate master's study programs in conducting the selection of prospective graduate students in accordance with their abilities and disciplines. The method used in data processing using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, is a method of weighting the sum of the criteria values of each alternative. The results of the decision in the form of ranking the number of values, based on the passing grade value that has been set> 0.70 declared passed, or <0.70 declared not passed.

The selection of the best employees is one of the process of evaluating how well the performance of the employees is adjusted to the standards set by the company and usually done by top management such as General Manager or Director. In general, the selection of the best employees is still perform manually with many criteria and alternatives, and this usually make it difficult top managerial making decisions as well as the selection of the best employees periodically into a long and complicated process. Therefore, it is necessary to build a decision support system that can help facilitate the decision maker in determining the best choice based on standard criteria, faster, and more objective. In this research, the computational method of decision-making system used is Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The criteria used in the selection of the best employees are: job responsibilities, work discipline, work quality, and behaviour. The final result of the global priority value of the best employee candidates is used as the best employee selection decision making tool by top management.

SMAN 10 Padang is one of the leading schools in the city of Padang State School which has two majors, namely Science (Science Knowledge) and Social Sciences (Social Sciences). A distinctive feature of this school is one of the international standard pilot schools (RSBI) by implementing bilingual and accelerating classes. On average students lack understanding in the selection of majors according to their abilities. Many people fail in the way they have found. To facilitate the determination of majors, a Decision Making System (SPK) is needed to find criteria. In SPK there are several methods in searching criteria, which are usually used by SAW with MFED. Based on the research carried out, by comparing the two methods, the data are grouped into three criteria, namely the value of the Natural Sciences National Examination, Psychology tests, and Interests. The results of this study show about MFEP method take a high accuration between SAW. An accuration of SAW have 38.3 % and MFEP have 70.5%.

Recent studies in the decision making efforts in the area of public healthcare systems have been tremendously inspired and influenced by the entry of ontology. Ontology driven systems results in the effective implementation of healthcare strategies for the policy makers. The central source of knowledge is the ontology containing all the relevant domain concepts such as locations, diseases, environments and their domain sensitive inter-relationships which is the prime objective, concern and the motivation behind this paper. The paper further focuses on the development of a semantic knowledge-base for public healthcare system. This paper describes the approach and methodologies in bringing out a novel conceptual theme in establishing a firm linkage between three different ontologies related to diseases, places and environments in one integrated platform. This platform correlates the real-time mechanisms prevailing within the semantic knowledgebase and establishing their inter-relationships for the first time in India. This is hoped to formulate a strong foundation for establishing a much awaited basic need for a meaningful healthcare decision making system in the country. Introduction through a wide range of best practices facilitate the adoption of this approach for better appreciation, understanding and long term outcomes in the area. The methods and approach illustrated in the paper relate to health mapping methods, reusability of health applications, and interoperability issues based on mapping of the data attributes with ontology concepts in generating semantic integrated data driving an inference engine for user-interfaced semantic queries.

The Selection of the welding process is one of the most significant decision-making problems, and it involves a wide range of information following the type of product. Hence, the automation of knowledge through a knowledge-based system will significantly enhance the decision-making process and simplify for identifying the most appropriate welding processes. The aims of this paper for explicates a knowledge-based system developed for recognising the most suitable welding processes for repairing shredder hammer by using data envelopment analysis (DEA) and p-robust technique. The proposed approach is used for ranking six welding processes which are commonly used, namely shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), flux cored arc welding (FCAW), submerged arc welding (SAW), oxyacetylene gas welding (OAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and gas metal arc welding (GMAW). In order to determine the best welding process among competitive welding processes for repairing of shredder hammer, ten parameters are used, namely the availability of consumable, welding process type (manual and automatic), flexibility of welding position, weld-ability on base metal, initial preparation required, welding procedures, post-weld cleaning, capital cost, operating factor, and deposition rate. Furthermore, the sensitivity analysis of regret value (p) is investigated in three cases proposed.

The selection of quality gemstones requires a special ability to select and assess the quality of gemstones to be traded. The diversity of types of gemstones and consumers becomes an obstacle in itself when the knowledge and ability of individuals to analyze the quality of gemstones is minimal. The decision-making method used is Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) method which is widely used in various sectors. F-AHP is easy to adapt to many decision issues; the research proposes a decision-making system using the F-AHP algorithm to analyze the quality of gemstones. The results obtained with the use of F-AHP model in the selection of quality gemstones show the highest quality of gemstones of all stones compared, Rubi 1, with a weight value of 0.152942.
