O gerenciamento de materiais é um dos fatores fundamentais que auxiliam na competitividade das organizações. Este gerenciamento pode trazer grandes benefícios relacionados à diminuição de custos e aumento nos lucros. O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar e propor um plano de gerenciamento de estoques em uma fábrica de urnas funerárias em Vitória da Conquista-BA. Por meio de uma pesquisa descritiva com aspectos quantitativos e qualitativos, houve a criação de indicadores e realização de entrevista para compreender as consequências da ausência de gestão de materiais para a organização. Como resultado, foi constatado que houve compras com base no senso comum, as quais geraram excessos de determinados produtos e faltas de outros, prejudicando assim, as operações produtivas e financeiras da empresa. Com isso, as ferramentas de gestão de estoque auxiliam na tomada de decisão, tanto de compra, quanto de manutenção dos materiais analisados, de modo a identificar a funcionalidade do modelo e sua importância para a gestão de estoques na redução de falhas nos métodos de suprimentos. Ferramentas de Gestão STOCK MANAGEMENT TO CONTROL RESOURCES: PLAN PROPOSITION FOR A FUNERAL URN FACTORY IN VITÓRIA DA CONQUISTA - BA Abstract: Material management is one of the fundamental factors that help in the competitiveness of organizations. This management can bring great benefits related to lower costs and increased profits. This study aims to analyze and propose an inventory management plan in a funerary urns factory in Vitória da Conquista-BA. Through a descriptive research with quantitative and qualitative aspects, indicators were created and an interview was conducted to understand the consequences of the lack of material management for the organization. As a result, it was found that there were purchases based on common sense, which generated excesses of certain products and shortages of others, thus harming the company's productive and financial operations. With this, the inventory management tools assist in decision making, both of purchase and maintenance of the analyzed materials, in order to identify the model's functionality and its importance for inventory management in the reduction of failures in supply methods. A profissionalização da logística, principalmente no que tange às compras e administração de estoques, pode ser uma das formas para otimizar recursos na administração hospitalar. O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a gestão de estoques e aquisição de medicamentos do Hospital Universitário de Brasília (HUB) sob o enfoque logístico. Foi realizada uma pesquisa aplicada, descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa, cujo procedimento técnico foi o estudo de caso, a unidade de análise foi a Farmácia Hospitalar do HUB. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio de entrevistas, análise documental e observação direta. A análise de dados baseou-se na análise categorial temática. Constatou-se que as principais dificuldades referem-se à falta de integração entre os departamentos e às limitações de software de gerenciamento de compras e estoques. Ademais, o cunho público da instituição impede o relacionamento colaborativo com fornecedores e é calcado por restrições orçamentárias que prejudicam a prestação de serviços. The professionalization of logistics, especially in relation to purchasing and inventory management, can be one of the ways to generate the resources otimization in hospital administration. The objective of this article is to analyze stock management and medication acquisition at the Hospital Universitário de Brasília (HUB), under logistics perspective. For this purpose, it was carried out an applied, descriptive research, with qualitative approach. The technical procedure was the case study and the unit of analysis was the Hospital Pharmacy of the HUB. The data collection took place through interviews, documentary analysis and direct observation. The data analysis was based on categorical thematic analysis. As main results we can detach that the main difficulties are related to the lack of integration between departments and the limitations of purchasing and inventory management software. In addition, the public nature of the institution prevents the collaborative relationship with suppliers and is limited by budget constraints that hinder the provision of services.

Material management is a critical component of the construction industry. The goal of materials management is to insure that construction materials are available at their point of use when needed. A proper implemented material management program can achieve the timely flow of materials and equipment to the jobsite, and thus facilitate improved work face planning, increased labour productivity, scheduling and minimize the cost. Material management is an important function in order to improve productivity in construction project. It is defind materials management function which take off, vendor evaluation and selection , purchasing, expenditure, shipping, material receiving, where housing and inventory, and material distribution. In this project we have prepare scheme of material management in the construction industry for building project also conducting survey of industry and determine the various format for construction material management. In conclusion the wastage of material, control cost of material and time should be analyzed by using inventory management system.

The aim of this study is to develop a web application that supports decision-making processes on subjects—such as customer relations management, marketing, and stock management—with data such as posts, comments, and likes from Instagram to four e-commerce companies. In this context, the data obtained from the Instagram accounts of e-commerce companies were recorded in a database after the pre-processing and classification stages. A web application has been developed that can support managers in their decision-making processes at operational, tactical, and strategic decision-making levels by visualizing the data recorded in the database.

AbstractIt is commonly thought that on Kant’s view of action, ‘everyone always acts on maxims’. Call this the ‘descriptive reading’. This reading faces two important problems. First, the idea that people always act on maxims offends against common sense: it clashes with our ordinary ideas about human agency. Second, there are various passages in which Kant says that it is ‘rare’ and ‘admirable’ to firmly adhere to a set of basic principles that we adopt for ourselves. This article offers an alternative: the ‘normative reading’. On this reading, it is a normative ideal to adopt and act on maxims: it is one of the things we would do if our reason were fully in control of our decision-making.

Leaders are very important for organizations and businesses. The various characters of leaders can determine the success of an organization due to their role and responsibility for planning, organizing, and decision-making of organizational strategies to achieve their goals. One of the leaders whose characteristic is quite interesting and possibly become our role models is Larry Page, a co-founder of Google Inc. The researchers used qualitative research methods by descriptive research in explaining Larry Page style of leadership in leading Google Inc. Result of this study shows that Larry Page has a very open and equal way of leading, making him a democratic and transformational leader for an instance Larry believe in crazy ideas of their employees since he believes that insane ideas could change the world whereas not all the leaders can trust their subordinate. To hear the ideas, Larry always encourages his subordinate to speak up at every opportunity and instantly give them constructive feedback.

Doho Suwar-Suwir is a Micro Small Medium Enterprises (UMKM) processing Fermented Cassava (Tape Singkong) to become a processed food in Jember, which is Suwar-Suwir. To maintain the stability of production process, needs a control for the stock management towards the raw material at Doho Suwar-Suwir UMKM. The raw material inventory management at Doho Suwar-Suwir UMKM is about fermented cassava raw material inventory which then are processed to become the typical food of Jember Regency, which is Suwar-Suwir. The goal of this research were to analyze the fermented cassava raw material inventory quantity and to analyze the safety stock quantity at Doho Suwar-Suwir UMKM. The method used in this research was stock management calculation or Economical Order Quantity (EOQ) where the result of this research was the quantity of fermented cassava raw material  needed using Economical Order Quantity (EOQ) method at Doho Suwar-Suwir business was 60,6 kg and the number of the safety stock which must exist was 5,5 kg.

This study was arranged based on a qualitative descriptive research design which the results of this study indicate that the application of classroom management in fairy tale learning to improve learning motivation of students in class II SDN Becomes IV Semanding Tuban has not been maximized. The results showed that the fairy tale learning process had not been optimal for the application of classroom management because the teacher had not made a classroom management plan before the learning took place and the lack of learning facilities in the classroom so that the class was less conducive. Class management emphasizes efforts to achieve student learning motivation and student achievement, so that visible classroom management is a systematic and structured management process by prioritizing strategic planning consisting of class management design in fairy tale learning, classroom management in fairy tale learning and assessment in learning fairy tales so as to increase student learning motivation.
