The purpose of this research is to examines the muslim’s buying behavior in Islamic Financial Technology products based on their technology adoption. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) proves that there’s significant relationship between Technology Adoption to construct the Buying Attitude. Meanwhile, the Technology Adoption has significant relationship directly to Buying Intention which means the  partial mediation of attitude occurs in this model. The Buying Attitude towards Islamic Financial Technology products show significant relationship to buying intention to adopt the Islamic investment products in the future

Background: Although the flight accident rate in Indonesia has declined, several accidents still occur every year. In Indonesia, there are several major factors that can affect flight accidents, such as human error, policy aspect, limited facilities, and technological factors.   Aims: The present study examines the relationship between the implementation of public policy and pilots’ airmanship and flight safety in Indonesia. Methods: Questionnaires with 171 questions about airmanship, flight safety, and public policy were distributed to 270 randomly selected Indonesian commercial pilots. A structural equation model was used to test the hypothesis model concerning the implementation of public policy, pilots’ airmanship, and flight safety.  Results: The empirical results strongly support the hypothesis that there is a significant relationship between behavior, emotional intelligence, and self-efficacy and airmanship; a significant relationship between pilots’ airmanship and the implementation of public policies; and a significant relationship between the implementation of public policy and aviation safety.

Financial inclusion is an increase in a person's understanding and ability to determine the required financial products or services that will increase the using of them. This study to investigated the relationship between financial inclusion to financial technology utilization of student in Universitas Negeri Padang. This study is quantitative by using questionnaire to get the primary data. The questionnaire was distributed to 300 students who understand financial management. After testing the hypothesis in this study using the Structural Equation Model (SEM), the results show that financial inclusion has a positive and significant relationship to financial technology.

This study considers fair-trade as a collaborative strategy of dealing with the wicked problem of apparel sweatshops. The study assumes that consumer guilt increases the market share of fair-trade products which can be regarded as a favorable change in the marketing system’s output. The paper develops and validates a model of guilt-induced fair-trade buying based on this notion. The model comprises negative affect, ethical judgment, and self-efficacy as antecedents of anticipated consumer guilt. The study’s results, based on a sample of American consumers (n = 430) and analyzed in a structural equation model, reveal anticipated guilt as a major driver of fair-trade buying behavior. Furthermore, anticipated consumer guilt mediates the effects of its antecedents on fair-trade buying intention. The paper provides implications for macro-decision making (e.g., guilt-inducing nudges) as well as suggestions for marcromarketing research.

This study proposes a novel framework to investigate the interdependence and determinants of tourism participation, expenditure, and duration related to tourism behavior. A discrete–continuous model was constructed to jointly estimate the participation and expenditure decisions. Then, a structural equation model was used to explore the corresponding influential determinants of tourism expenditure and trip duration. An empirical study was conducted using historical travel data collected from Taiwanese citizens traveling abroad. Results revealed a significant relationship between participation and expenditure as well as between expenditure and duration. Furthermore, package and frequent travelers were willing to spend more on trips of shorter duration, but individual and independent travelers were more cost-conscious and travel for longer periods. Overall, time constraints were found to take priority over personal income when making tourism decisions. These findings help travel agents and policymakers to better understand travelers’ needs and develop tourism policies.

PurposeInformation technology is associated with psychological and physical risks such as high stress levels and antisocial behavior. The purpose of this paper is to understand why people engage in technology risk behavior, despite the negative consequences that might follow. Focusing on online games, this study identifies factors that affect individuals' intention to play online games and investigate whether the effects of these factors differ across different risk levels.Design/methodology/approachExperimental design was used as the research methodology. Subjects were randomly assigned to a single treatment with two conditions: high and low risk scenarios. A total of 597 responses were analyzed to test the research hypotheses.FindingsThe research findings reveal that subjective norms, curiosity and playfulness have a positive effect on the intention to play online games, while critical mass has no effect on the intention decisions. Further, among the three significant constructs, playfulness turned out to be the only factor that is affected by risk levels.Research limitations/implicationsThis study extends prior literature on technology adoption by examining the effect of different risk levels on adoption intention decisions. It further extends prior literature on online games by identifying the factors that drive individuals to play games while accounting for the risks associated with playing these games.Practical implicationsThe research study identifies factors that should be taken into consideration when promoting the adoption of technologies, including online games.Originality/valueThis study offers a new understanding of technology adoption decisions that takes into account the different levels of risk associated with technology use. It shows that an individual's curiosity and the pressure emanating from one's social network are powerful behavior drivers that persist regardless of the level of risk. Further, this research study is among the first to apply categorical least squares methodology combined with a procedure for a moderated structural equation model to test a structural equation model with categorical multiplicative terms in LISREL.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the service quality factors that influence on student satisfaction when they use Computer Laboratory. The study was conducted at the STIE Kesatuan Laboratory of Computer with 100 students as the respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model approach. Results showed variable Physical Evidence, Empathy, Security, Reliability and Responsiveness able to explain the variability construct of Service Quality strongly by 69.53%. The fifth element of service quality has a positive and significant relationship to the Student Satisfaction   Keywords: Service Quality,Laboratory of Computer, Student Satisfaction
