Education 4.0 is the answer to the global needs for the advanced integration of humans and technology. Leading school’s technology utilization can be the way forward to support education 4.0 realization. This study aims to investigate the effects and roles of principals’ technology leadership towards teachers’ ICT utilization and students’ academic performance in secondary schools in Selangor, Malaysia. This empirical study uses a set of questionnaires to gather information from respondents who are in the teaching profession. A total of 310 questionnaires were completed and analyzed. The findings have shown significant positive impacts between the effects of the technology leadership roles of principals on teachers’ effective ICT utilization and students’ academic performance. The integration of ICT and technological tools in schools has a great challenge towards the new era of the Education 4.0 system. This suggests that principals who embrace technology will effectively lead their schools to acquire educational resources to enhance student engagement and learning.

Intercultural education in Greece has recently been brought to the foreground, due to the worldwide migrant/refugee crisis. However, the COVID-19 pandemic outburst in 2020 forced distance education and, hence, technology utilization upon all stakeholders. In this regard, by adopting a qualitative approach and by exploring educational leaders’ representations, this paper aims to investigate whether intercultural and distance education principles can be combined in order for students with a different cultural background to continue attending their lessons, as most native students do. The findings of this study demonstrate that intercultural principles are hard or in some cases impossible to be applied in distance learning and consequently, refugee/migrant students end up falling behind or being entirely excluded from the educational process.

This study was aimed at investigating the effectiveness of the usage of video whether it can motivate students in learning English during new normal era. Educational process, nowadays, can’t be disconnected with technology utilization. Covid-19 has forced the educators to implement technology in teaching process, as government demanded them to conduct blended learning before. In this situation, the students and educators meet some challenges. Feeling of isolated, one of challenges appears in students’ mind. Thus, educators need to find the solution for it. This study was quantitative research method which had 20 students of second semester in Islamic banking as sample. The data collected through distributing questionnaires for pre-treatment and post-treatment. Analyzing results showed that using video in English learning during online class in new normal era was able to motivate students to learn.

The purpose of this study is to dicover the needs of identification in a business and design that uses e-commerce design in the fashion field. In e-commerce systems, there are key functional features of information that can provide satisfaction to consumers. This study used descriptive qualitative methods, which are methods that can be interpreted as stages of problem solving, which describes a situation in the subject or object in this study. Transaction activities between sellers and buyers are included in the form of trade in using online media that can save consumers' time in shopping. The results of this study were the facts to help reach wider customers than offline stores, and finding a market gap for businesses and products. With the existence of e-commerce applications in the development of this fashion consumers can obtain a product at a cheaper and practical price to get the desired fashion mode.


ملخص: هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة معوقات استخدام تقنيات التعليم في رياض الأطفال في فلسطين من وجهة نظر مربيات هذه الرياض. واستخدِم المنهج الوصفي المسحي الميداني كمنهج للدراسة. تكون المجتمع من جميع مربيات رياض الأطفال في محافظة سلفيت البالغ عددهن (262) مربية، وتكونت العينة من (131) مربية اختيرت عشوائياً بنسبة (50%) من مجتمع الدراسة، واعتُمدت الاستبانة كأداة. وأظهرت النتائج أن معظم رياض الأطفال في فلسطين تعاني من العديد من معوقات استخدام تقنيات التعليم، وتبين أيضاً أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين آراء مربيات رياض الأطفال في فلسطين نحو معوقات استخدام تقنيات التعليم تبعاً لمتغيرات: (التخصص، وسنوات الخبرة، والحالة الاجتماعية)؛ ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لمعوقات استخدام تقنيات التعليم في رياض الأطفال في فلسطين من وجهة نظر مربيات رياض الأطفال تبعاً لمتغير المؤهل العلمي. الكلمات المفتاحية: معوقات، مربية الروضة، تقنيات التعليم. Abstract The study aimed to find out the obstacles to using educational technology in kindergartens in Palestine from the kindergartens’ educators’ viewpoint. The study followed the descriptive-analytical approach. The population comprises (262) Kindergartens’ educators in Salfit governorate, while the sample consisted of (131) picked randomly at a rate of (50%) from the population. The questionnaire was adopted as a study tool. Results revealed that: The majority of kindergartens in Palestine face several obstacles to the use of educational technology.There are no statistically significant differences between the opinions of kindergarten educators on obstacles of educational technology utilization due to the variables (specialty, years of experience, marital status). There are statistically significant differences of obstacles of educational technologies usage in kindergartens due to the variable educational qualification. Abstract Utilization of technology as a research result is the foremost indicator towards the success of R&D as well as the measure of the multiplier effect concerning the usage of R&D budgets. However, to define the indicators and measurement of technology benefits is less considered. This study was aimed to determine the scope, indicators, and comprehensive measurement methods on the utilization of technology in the form of an index to standardize the value. Through literature studies, benchmarking of previous models and Focus Group Discussions, the measurement indicators of technology utilization index include: the availability of technology at the user’s location, the distribution of technology adoption, technology benefits, technology accessibility and user acceptance. Every variable for each indicator was based on the type of technology. The method for measuring the level of technology utilization using a composite index of four variables and calculation was carried out by weighting the importance of each variables based on the eigein value of Analytical Hierarchy Process. Three utilization categories were not utilized (index <1); underutilized (index 1 to 3); and high utilized (index> 3). As an example, the utilization index of a new superior varieties (VUB) of rice was high (3.75) with relatively good indicators on technology benefits and availability of VUB rice seed at the user’s location. Furthermore, the result implies that the method on measuring the utilization index is adequate to be widely applied for other types of technology.

The key enabling factor for Spin Wave (SW) technology utilization for building ultra low power circuits is the ability to energy efficiently cascade SW basic computation blocks. SW Majority gates, which constitute a universal gate set for this paradigm, operating on phase encoded data are not input output coherent in terms of SW amplitude, and as such, their cascading requires information representation conversion from SW to voltage and back, which is by no means energy effective. In this paper, a novel conversion free SW gate cascading scheme is proposed that achieves SW amplitude normalization by means of a directional coupler. After introducing the normalization concept, we utilize it in the implementation of three simple circuits and, to demonstrate its bigger scale potential, of a 2-bit inputs SW multiplier. The proposed structures are validated by means of the Object Oriented Micromagnetic Framework (OOMMF) and GPU-accelerated Micromagnetics (MuMax3). Furthermore, we assess the normalization induced energy overhead and demonstrate that the proposed approach consumes 20% to 33% less energy when compared with the transducers based conventional counterpart. Finally, we introduce a normalization based SW 2-bit inputs multiplier design and compare it with functionally equivalent SW transducer based and 16nm CMOS designs. Our evaluation indicate that the proposed approach provided 26% and 6.25x energy reductions when compared with the conventional approach and 16nm CMOS counterpart, respectively, which demonstrates that our proposal is energy effective and opens the road towards the full utilization of the SW paradigm potential and the development of SW only circuits.
