Bicycles are a global product and are present in every culture of the world. They are extensively used for travelling, they are pollution free and easy to manufacture. However, the stability is a great problem of concern while riding a bicycle. A two-wheeler is bound to fall after being tilted more than a certain angle of tilt. This paper aims to provide a literature review of the previously methods of achieving self-balancing condition in a bicycle. Further, up to 4 methods or de-signs have been broadly classified in this paper taking into account the previously published papers on self-balancing. Also, Gyroscopes are highly stabilizing de-vices which are used as stabilizing systems in ships and flight control of aircrafts. The goal of this paper is to finalize the best possible method for building a self-balancing twowheeler prototype capable of balancing itself using a gyroscope and PID (Proportional integral derivative) controller. The gyroscope will provide the necessary balance to the bicycle at the time of tilt. The idea of a selfbalancing bicycle can be further employed in the manufacture of driverless and driver operated automated two-wheelers respectively, with a high degree of road safety and road adhesion. Finally, this paper also covers the future scope and future techniques in the field of self-balancing

The hinge moment acting on the actuator will cause an out-of-plane moment, which is a destabilizing factor to the angular motion of spinning missiles. A new tuning criterion for the actuator controller is proposed to decrease the out-of-plane moment. It is noted that the integral element does not decrease the out-of-plane moment. A carefully designed proportional–derivative controller with some compromises can ensure the stability of the missile and provide good performance for the actuator.

In this paper, the fractionalized differentiating method is implemented to reduce commensurate fractional order models complexity. The prominent properties of this method are its simplicity and guarantee of preserving the stability of a specific class of fractional order models in their reduced counterparts. The presented reduction method is employed in simplifying complicated fractional order controllers to a fractional order PID (FOPID) controller and proposing tuning rules for its parameters adjustment. Finally, the efficiency of the FOPID tuning rule obtained based on the proposed reduction method is shown in the temperature control of a cutting process.

This paper addresses the problem of determining the stabilizing proportional-integral-derivative controller regions for a general linear system with or without time delay in unity output feedback configuration. When such a problem is solved in the 3D space by a graphical method, it brings in the visualizing difficulties. This paper proposes a new method by projecting the stability boundary in the 3D to the parameterized stability boundary band in the 2D plane of [Formula: see text] while [Formula: see text] varies in an interval. The boundary band divides the plane to the regions for which simple and effective stability test is developed and the complete stabilizing regions in the 2D plane of [Formula: see text] are determined for any given interval on [Formula: see text]. The rules are presented to find conditionally stable band portions, within which the corresponding stabilizing sub-interval for [Formula: see text] can be obtained from an analytical formula for the case of no band intersections and from the root locus on [Formula: see text] for the case of the band intersections. Several examples are designed to cover different cases and illustrate the method.

This paper proposes a novel Stability-Based Artificial Intelligence Method for predicting the optimum parameters of the proportional-integral-derivative controller in an automatic voltage regulator system. To implement the stability-based artificial intelligence method, first, parameters which are of great importance for the control of the system are applied to the system randomly, data are collected, and then artificial intelligence studies are carried out. The suggested approach has been applied to the system and compared with other control methods in the literature, namely the improved Kidney Inspired algorithm, Jaya algorithm, Tree Seed algorithm, Water Wave Optimization, and Biography-Based Optimization to test the robustness of the new method. The numerical results indicate that the proposed method significantly outperforms all other methods.

Authors from the Christian Right in the USA situate the September 11 attack on New York and Washington within God's intentions to bring America into the divine schedule for the end of the world. This is true of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell, and other leading figures in the ‘Christian Coalition’. This article analyses how Christian fundamentalists assess the roles of the USA, the State of Israel, Islam, Iraq, the European Union and Russia within what they perceive to be the divine plan for the future of the world, especially against the background of ‘9/11’. It argues that the ideas of the Christian Right and of President George W. Bush coalesce to a high degree. Whereas before 9/11 many American mega-church preachers had aspirations to direct political life, after the events of that day the President assumes some of the roles of a mega-religious leader.

It has been known that both in the world and in Turkey a continuous change has been experienced in the provision of health services in recent years. In this sense by adopting the customer(client) focused approach of either public or private sector hospitals; it has been seen that they are in the struggle for presenting a right, fast, trustuble, comfy service. The purpose of this research is to measure the satisfaction degree, expectations and perceptions of the patients in Karabük State Hospital through comparison. In this context, the patient satisfaction scale which has been developed as a result of literature review has been used and by this scale it has been tried to measure the satisfaction levels of the patients in terms of material and human factors which are the two main factors of the service that was presented. In the study, with the scales of Servqual and 0-100 Points together, in the part of the analysis MANOVA have been used. The expectations and the perceptions of the patient has been compared first by generally and then by separating to different groups according to the various criterias and in thisway it has been tried to be measured their satisfaction levels. According to the results that were obtained, although, the satisfaction levels of the patients who have taken service from Karabük State Hospital are high in terms of thedoctors and the nurses; it has been reached to the result that their satisfaction levels are low in terms of the materials that have been used at the presenting of the service and the management.

The argument has focused on whether the World Bank Group was established to enhance the stability of international financial system or meant to enrich the developed nations. “Osseointegration” as formulated by Alberktson is crucial for implant survival and success. Osseointegration is a measure of implant stability. Measuring implant stability helps to arrive at decisions as to loading of an implant, allows choice of protocol on a patient to patient basis and provides better case documentation. A successful implant reflects good bone to implant contact and is determined by implant stability both primary and secondary. Implant stability is achieved at two different stages – primary (immediately after implant placement) and secondary (3-4 months after implant placement). Implant stability has been confirmed to affect the process of osseointegration and therefore is essential to understand the methods to measure implant stability and factors influencing. Various methods are developed to assess implant stability which suggests the prognosis of an implant.

Roket merupakan sebuah peluru kendali atau suatu kendaraan terbang yang mendapatkan dorongan melalui reaksi roket secara cepat dengan bahan fluida dari keluaran mesin roket. Sistem Kendali Sirip Roket berbasis Mikrokontroller ATmega8 berguna untuk mengendalikan sirip roket khususnya bagian aileron.  Dibutuhkan komponen – komponen pendukung berupa Sensor Accelerometer, Sensor Gyroscope, ATmega8 dan Motor Servo. Alat pengendali sirip roket ini dapat digunakan untuk mengendalikan sirip roket bagian aileron pada saat posisi roket tidak stabil atau terjadi gerakan naik turun pada saat setelah diluncurkan, sehingga dapat menghasilkan penerbangan yang maksimal dalam mencapai sasaran.Perancangan yang  digunakan adalah jenis pengendalian dengan kontrol PID. PID (Proportional Integral Derivative controller) merupakan kontroller untuk menentukan presisi suatu sistem instrumentasi dengan karakteristik adanya umpan balik pada sistem tesebut. Pengontrol PID adalah pengontrol konvensional yang banyak dipakai dalam dunia industri. Karakteristik pengontrol PID sangat dipengaruhi oleh kontribusi besar dari ketiga parameter P, I dan D. Pemilihan konstanta Kp, Ki dan Kd akan mengakibatkan penonjolan sifat dari masing-masing elemen. Dalam perancangan sebuah sistem kendali menggunakan kontroller PID pada motor servo yang diharapkan mampu menggerakkan sirip naik dan sirip turun pada roket sehingga mampu menjaga kestabilan roket saat diluncurkan.
