Abstract Solutions based on Cisco firewall protection provide numerous possibilities for more efficient protection of the abundant quantity of data that is necessary for the operation of an educational institution. Firstly, data phishing can be complicated by the constitution of a virtual network. The IDPS-based access system enables the management center to identify a potential threat in a timely manner. Furthermore, the Cisco-type firewall of a new generation is able to verify the encrypted data in a way that avoids decoding and listening the communication itself. The AAA framework is also an imperative, as in case of a network, control of access is of the utmost importance.

AbstractThere were 79 articles published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (JCMR) in 2019, including 65 original research papers, 2 reviews, 8 technical notes, 1 Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonacne (SCMR) guideline, and 3 corrections. The volume was down slightly from 2018 (n = 89) with a corresponding 5.5% increase in manuscript submissions from 345 to 366. This led to a slight decrease in the acceptance rate from 25 to 22%. The quality of the submissions continues to be high. The 2019 JCMR Impact Factor (which is published in June 2020) increased from 5.07 to 5.36. The 2020 impact factor means that on average, each JCMR published in 2017 and 2018 was cited 5.36 times in 2019. Our 5 year impact factor was 5.2. We are now finishing the 13th year of JCMR as an open-access publication with BMC. As outlined in this report, the Open-Access system has dramatically increased the reading and citation of JCMR publications. I hope that our authors will continue to send their very best, high quality manuscripts for JCMR consideration and that our readers will continue to look to JCMR for the very best/state-of-the-art publications in our field. It takes a village to run a journal. JCMR is blessed to have very dedicated Associate Editors, Guest Editors, and Reviewers. I thank each of them for their efforts to ensure that the review process occurs in a timely and responsible manner. These efforts have allowed the JCMR to continue as the premier journal of our field. My role, and the entire process would not be possible without the dedication and efforts of our managing editor, Diana Gethers (who will leaving the journal in the coming months) and our assistant managing editor, Jennifer Rodriguez, who has agreed to increase her reponsibilities. Finally, I thank you for entrusting me with the editorship of the JCMR. As I begin my 5th year as your editor-in-chief, please know that I fully recognize we are not perfect in our review process. We try our best to objectively assess every submission in a timely manner, but sometimes don't get it “right.” The editorial process is a tremendously fulfilling experience for me. The opportunity to review manuscripts that reflect the best in our field remains a great joy and a highlight of my week!

The research aims to reveal Ma’had Al-Zaytun as an Islamic educational institution in the aspects of ideology, direction and goals of education. The importance of this research is because a growing issue in society says that Ma’had Al-Zaytun carries a hidden agenda of "building the Islamic State of Indonesia in the long term". This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods: observation, participation and interviews. The results of this study are as follows: there has been a change in the social basis during the years 1970-1990. The change in the social basis is a change in the generation of the senior Indonesian Islamic State bearers with the pressure of the struggle for structural Islamic ideology to the new generation which emphasizes on the inclusive substantive Islamic struggle. The choice of the new generation's model of struggle is Ma’had Al-Zaytun. This is an articulation of Islam and Indonesiannes that makes Islam a spreader of peace, not a spreader of threats.

The successful development of a new generation of technology incorporating an electro-rheological (ER) fluid requires three principal ingredients; advanced ER fluid, reliable mechanical mechanism and efficacious control scheme. This paper discusses the third one. After describing general, but stringent requirements for semiactive or active control systems featuring the ER fluid, feedback control characteristics of some specific ER devices are presented; a frequency-dependent feedback control of mode shape in a smart flexible structure containing the ER fluid, an optimal control of vibration in a semi-active suspension installed with ER shock absorbers, and a neural network control of position in a hydraulic ER valve-cylinder system.

Today’s modern camera systems possess numerous analytic functions, such as face detection, headcount,  or thermal detection. In order to  increase the security, however, the further  development of these features is recommended, in  the best interest of fire protection. The present article  discusses the introduction of a camera system  which would be capable of determining the  students’ whereabouts within the premises in an  automated way. Thus, the system has to be able to  determine who, when, and where is located within  the premises of the educational institution in question. This could provide useful information in  case of a fire within the institution. Thereby, the  security service or rescue teams could determine the  exact location of the students – even by name – and  their number, and they could rescue the students  stuck inside more easily. Furthermore, the storage of  the video footage is most frequently saved in  ‘traditional’ clouds, whereas the solutions based on decentralised clouds provide greater security. The aim of the research is to introduce a solution for fire protection, based on a security camera system which  is considered an outstanding development nowadays.

Millennial generation, starting from twelve-year-olds up to adolescents, is one of the most complicated generational cohorts; its ecosystem, beyond of formal and non-formal education boundaries, is more diverse than for any other previous generation. Digital learners prefer a digital learning environment, as the advantage of digital learning is the control over time, place, way and pace, enabling you to impersonate as an educational institution, applying smart personal network which consists of 3 domains: applied smart technologies; reflexive pedagogy for the digital century [1]; learning environment [2], thus without any confrontation of formal and non-formal education, but rather with consolidation of  resources to promote engineering development of formal environment at school, higher educational establishments and informal activities – projects, scientists’ night events, open days, interest-related education programmes, etc.Goal of the research is to analyse the proposal of formal and non-formal education for the new generation digital learning demand and identify the examples of good practice in engineering, based on the identified digital leaning criteria obtained as a result of theoretical analysis. In the design research of cross-sectional study 323 respondents took part: 226 representatives of formal education and 97 representatives of non-formal education. In the research the quantitative and qualitative data collection (questionnaires, case analysis) and processing (nonparametric software in SPSS environment and content analysis) methods have been applied. Results of Mann-Whitney U-test to two independent samples confirm statistically significant differences depending on the respondents’ profile:   representatives  of  non-formal  education  tend  to value Higher   such   digital   learning   criteria   as  situational and  authentic, whereas representatives of formal education value higher interactive digital learning on demand, which is related to application of different media platforms (p≤0.05).The research analyses the examples of good practice in case studies in engineering.Engineering can be geared towards fundamental research, but in the pupils’ educational process the innovative solutions of technical sciences with a perspective of practical applicability arouse a greater interest. Learning efficiency and acquisition of new knowledge are successful if learning is linked to research work in higher educational establishments and transfer of findings in the education system in close collaboration with representatives of economic sectors and businesses.
