Typhoon disaster information is characterized by multiple sources, complexity and diversity, and different users of this content have different individual concerns. The expression methods of typhoon disaster information considered in previous research have been relatively simple, which cannot meet the personalized service needs of different users. In this paper, according to the diverse content needs of different users in distinct stages of a typhoon disaster, a typhoon disaster information expression method with a multi-user, multi-stage, multi-channel and multi-element combined mode is investigated. First, the audience and disaster stages are divided via demand analysis, and the demand content is summarized according to the users, stages, and release channels. Similar information is then integrated into the same theme, and it is also determined how information is expressed. Then, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to filter out the important information in each theme. The theme template is then designed according to the characteristics of particular release channels. Finally, a prototype system is developed, and Typhoon Lekima, which impacted China in 2019, is considered as a real case for analysis. The results show that the proposed method can effectively support different users to obtain disaster characteristics at distinct stages of typhoon disasters, evaluate disaster conditions, assist scientific decision-making, and enhance public awareness of risk prevention.

Abstract. The wheelchair comfort is a subjective evaluation of users, which is influenced by wheelchair itself, environmental factors and physiological factors. It is difficult to make evaluation about wheelchair comfort by a general approach. In this essay, Analytic Hierarchy Process, based on a scientific decision-making idea which combines qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, was used to establish the evaluation system about wheelchair comfort indicator, and the weight of each indicator was determined. For this reason, the evaluation of wheelchair comfort is more scientific and reasonable.

The construction sector constantly offers new products, more effective technologies and novel solutions aimed at improvement of the quality of human habitats and wider distribution of technologies. Currently, effective technologies that require less time and costs for production, installation and use are gaining greater significance. Among them are construction materials and technologies with increasingly popular sustainability features. Considering the above, the article offers a complex algorithm for assessing the deployment and distribution potential of a new technology/product. For this purpose, a multi-stage model of alternatives and criteria was suggested and an analytical multi-stage evaluation model has been designed. The practical example illustrates the assessment of micro environment using a combination of AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and Permutation methods. The designed multi-criteria assessment model promotes accessibility of users to a technology, new product, a part of the product and a technological process.

For multivariate and fuzziness of machine tool selection in CAPP system, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation has been proposed based on analytic hierarchy process. Fuzzy evaluating model system has been built. Through the synthetic analysis of the factors which influence on machine tool selection, fuzzy relation between the effecting factors is set up. Multivariate quantitative problems were solved well, and the uniqueness of machine tool selection is ensured. This method solved the problem of machine tool selection better and ensured the reliability & availability by running on the prototype system.

Due to the challenge of rising public awareness of environmental issues and governmental regulations, green supply chain management (SCM) has become an important issue for companies to gain environmental sustainability. Supplier selection is one of the key operational tasks necessary to construct a green SCM. To select the most suitable suppliers, many economic and environmental criteria must be considered in the decision process. Although numerous studies have used economic criteria such as cost, quality, and lead time in the supplier selection process, only some studies have taken into account the environmental issues. This study proposes a comprehensive fuzzy multicriteria decision making (MCDM) approach for green supplier selection and evaluation, using both economic and environmental criteria. In the proposed approach, a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is employed to determine the important weights of criteria under vague environment. In addition, a fuzzy technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) is used to evaluate and rank the potential suppliers. Finally, a case study in Luminance Enhancement Film (LEF) industry is presented to illustrate the applicability and efficiency of the proposed method.

The private sector assumes that logistics centers create cost benefits for their operations. On the other hand, the public sector also assumes that logistics sectors maintain harmony with an aim to improve the logistics network structure and efficiency. In Turkey, nineteen logistics centers are on-going to develop a system approach and integrate different transportation modes to increase logistics performance. In this study, we focused on a multi-stage methodology that combines the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, spatial statistics and analysis approaches to evaluate the suitability degrees of the logistics centers in the study area. To reach the suitability levels, seven decision criteria were considered alongside their priority levels. These criteria were proximities to highway, railway, airports, and seaports; volume of international trade; total population; and handling capabilities of the ports. The reached suitability degrees were tested using a sensitivity analysis. Different scenarios were discussed to understand how the decision environment might illustrate differences in spatial aspect.

The purpose of this reserach is to find the alternative policy that should be taken by the Medan City Government, describes the causes of traffic density and traffic congestion and to evaluate the implementation of the Medan City Government policy in facing the problems of transportation and traffic congestion of Medan City. The study was conducted at (a) the inner city corridor road: Jalan Mohd. Yamin and Jalan Balai Kota (b) outter corridor road: Jalan Yos Sudarso, Jalan Letda Sujono, Jalan Jamin Ginting, Jalan S.M. Raja, and Jalan Gatot Subroto (c) the outer ring road is Jalan Karya Jasa. Data collection from various sources and processed for analysis and evaluation using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The sample is taken by purposive way where the selected respondent has competence in reviewing policy to resolve traffic jam. Based on research results, the density and traffic congestion can be resolve with more effective transportation policy, consistent enforcement of rules by the policy implementers and public awareness to obey the rules of transportation policy that have been made.
