The present paper proposes the design of a sleep monitoring platform. It consists of an entire sleep monitoring system based on a smart glove sensor called UpNEA worn during the night for signals acquisition, a mobile application, and a remote server called AeneA for cloud computing. UpNEA acquires a 3-axis accelerometer signal, a photoplethysmography (PPG), and a peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) signal from the index finger. Overnight recordings are sent from the hardware to a mobile application and then transferred to AeneA. After cloud computing, the results are shown in a web application, accessible for the user and the clinician. The AeneA sleep monitoring activity performs different tasks: sleep stages classification and oxygen desaturation assessment; heart rate and respiration rate estimation; tachycardia, bradycardia, atrial fibrillation, and premature ventricular contraction detection; and apnea and hypopnea identification and classification. The PPG breathing rate estimation algorithm showed an absolute median error of 0.5 breaths per minute for the 32 s window and 0.2 for the 64 s window. The apnea and hypopnea detection algorithm showed an accuracy (Acc) of 75.1%, by windowing the PPG in one-minute segments. The classification task revealed 92.6% Acc in separating central from obstructive apnea, 83.7% in separating central apnea from central hypopnea and 82.7% in separating obstructive apnea from obstructive hypopnea. The novelty of the integrated algorithms and the top-notch cloud computing products deployed, encourage the production of the proposed solution for home sleep monitoring.

Cloud Security was provided for the services such as storage, network, applications and software through internet. The Security was given at each layer (Saas, Paas, and Iaas), in each layer, there are some security threats which became the major problem in cloud computing. In Saas, the security issues are mainly present in Web Application services and this issue can be overcome by web application scanners and service level agreement(SLA). In Paas, the major problem is Data Transmission. During transmission of data, some data may be lost or modified. The PaaS environment accomplishes proficiency to some extent through duplication of information. The duplication of information makes high accessibility of information for engineers and clients. However, data is never fully deleted instead the pointers to the data are deleted. In order to overcome this problem the techniques that used are encryption[12], data backup. In Iaas the security threat that occurs in is virtualization and the techniques that are used to overcome the threats are Dynamic Security Provisioning(DSC), operational security procedure, for which Cloud Software is available in the market, for e.g. Eucalyptus, Nimbus 6.

In the development of an information platform focused on the daily operations of a physical rehabilitation clinic, two main software components are currently being worked on for their interaction with users. A web application focused on the operations of labor personnel (specialists and training professionals) and a native mobile application focused on the actions of patients, each of them has the need to interact with the same information repository, analyzing the side of the Patient problems arise from permanent connectivity to the main data through the Internet or some other data transmission protocol, the requirement arises to be able to interact with the generated personal information, which could be achieved by synchronizing data between client-server.

The targeted malignant emails (TME) for PC arrange misuse have become progressively deceptive and all the more generally common as of late. Aside from spam or phishing which is intended to fool clients into uncovering individual data, TME can misuse PC systems and accumulate touchy data which can be a major issue for the association. They can comprise of facilitated and industrious battles that can be terrible. Another email-separating procedure which depends on bowl classifier and beneficiary arranged highlights with an arbitrary backwoods classifier which performs superior to two conventional recognition techniques, Spam Assassin and Clam AV, while keeping up sensible bogus positive rates. This proposed model deals with how to recognize a pernicious bundle (email) for ordinary system into current system. We build up an undermined protocol of network detection that powerfully concludes the correct number of congestive loss of packets that is going to happen. On the chance that one damages the steering convention itself, at that point aggressor may make enormous segments of the system become untreatable. We build up an option shifting technique by utilizing TME explicit element extraction. Our conventions naturally anticipate clog in a deliberate manner, as it is vital in making any such flaw in network recognition reasonable.

This paper is focused on the usage of location services in mobile applications that were developed for the purpose of reporting different events that are based on their location. The event that is intended to be generic and universal can, as in examples used in this paper, be the reporting of some occurrence to a city’s communal affairs office. Such a generic event can include both multimedia and textual data, in addition to location information obtained using mobile device running the app. The software solution that is described in this paper consists of a mobile application that was developed for the Android operating system and a web application that includes a series of PHP scripts that run on a dedicated server. The web application consists of a backend scripts that facilitate the communication of a smart phone and the server and frontend related scripts used by users and administrators to access and check the data and process the reported events.

Dengue cases has become endemic in Malaysia. The cost of operation to exterminate mosquito habitats are also high. To do effective operation, information from community are crucial. But, without knowing the characteristic of Aedes larvae it is hard to recognize the larvae without guide from the expert. The use of deep learning in image classification and recognition is crucial to tackle this problem. The purpose of this project is to conduct a study of characteristics of Aedes larvae and determine the best convolutional neural network model in classifying the mosquito larvae. 3 performance evaluation vector which is accuracy, log-loss and AUC-ROC will be used to measure the model’s individual performance. Then performance category which consist of Accuracy Score, Loss Score, File Size Score and Training Time Score will be used to evaluate which model is the best to be implemented into web application or mobile application. From the score collected for each model, ResNet50 has proved to be the best model in classifying the mosquito larvae species.

Three children with sleep apnea, alveolar hypoventilation, apparent mental retardation, and poor growth associated with chronically enlarged tonsils and adenoids were treated with the use of a nasopharyngeal tube followed by tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. The effectiveness of this therapy was documented by polygraphic recording of sleep stages and respirations, and by correlation with serial arterial blood gases and pH. The nasopharyngeal tube was well tolerated, easy to use, and effective in diagnosis and treatment. We suggest that its use be further evaluated in patients with obstructive apnea.

Cloud storage systems can be considered to be a network of distributed datacenters that typically use cloud computing technology like virtualization and offer some kind of interface for storing data. To increase the availability of the data, it may be redundantly stored at different locations. Basic cloud storage is generally not designed to be accessed directly by users but rather incorporated into custom software using API. Cloud computing involves other processes besides storage. In this chapter, the authors discuss different viewpoints for cloud computing from the user, legal, security, and service provider perspectives. From the user viewpoint, the stored data creates a mirror of currently available local data. The backup feature allows users to recover any version of a previously stored data. Synchronization is the process of establishing consistency among the stored data. From the legal viewpoint, provisions regulating the user processing and storage of the data must have to be constant from when the data is stored in the cloud. The security viewpoint requires interaction with the Web application, data storage, and transmission. The service provider viewpoint requires the maximum level of cloud storage service at the minimum cost.
