This study investigated the effects of a leader’s feedback behavior on the followers’ innovative behaviors, and the mediating effects of voice behavior and job autonomy in the above relationship. To test the analytical model with the hypotheses, survey data were collected from 527 Korean employees working in 35 companies from manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. A structural equation model analysis was performed to test the hypotheses. The results of our empirical analysis are as follows. First, it was found that positive feedback from the leader positively influenced the followers’ voice behaviors, job autonomies, and innovative behaviors. Second, voice behavior and job autonomy were confirmed to have a positive mediating effect between the leader’s feedback and the innovative behavior of the followers. These findings imply that a leader’s feedback behavior contributes toward enhancing the followers’ innovative behaviors in the process of organizational innovation. We suggest that organizations and managers pay attention to the benefits of feedback activities and facilitate key mechanisms that connect them to employee innovation behavior, effectively.

This study examined the impact of E-CRM on customer loyalty with the mediating effect of customer satisfaction in the banking industry. Customer satisfaction is important for loyalty because when the customers are satisfied with the services offered by their service providers, the relationship gets stronger which further leads to positive word-of-mouth. The data was collected using purposive sampling from 836 banks’ customers who were using E-CRM services and the data was analyzed using structural equation model (SEM) through AMOS. The results revealed that E-CRM and customer satisfaction had a significant positive impact on customer loyalty and also customer satisfaction partially mediated the relationship between E-CRM and customer loyalty. This study would offer useful acumen to both academicians and marketers and would help the bank managers to improve the quality of the services provided to their customers.

During the new normal era after pandemic Covid-19, the tourism destination needs to struggle and adapt for recovery. This process requires optimal human resource performance. The objective of this study is to examine the model of human resource performance in tourism destination after pandemic. Leadership, motivation, and organizational commitment are consider as the antecedents of human resource performance. This study implements a quantitative approach. The data collection method used a questionnaire that distributed to 105 employees in Balkondes as respondent. The data analysis method used Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS. The results show that leadership, motivation, and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on human resource performance. The results also show that organizational commitment has mediating effect on the relationship between leadership toward human resource performance, and motivation toward human resource performance.

Zhongyong, as a typical Confucian thinking model, is related to employees' voice behavior. In this research we explored the relationship between Zhongyong thinking and employees' voice behavior, and examined the mediating effect of psychological safety in this relationship. Survey data were collected from 218 part-time Master of Business Administration students from two Chinese universities. The structural equation modeling results demonstrate that Zhongyong thinking was positively related to psychological safety, and that psychological safety was positively related to voice behavior. Further, psychological safety mediated the Zhongyong thinking–voice behavior relationship. These results suggest that organizations can encourage voice behavior by enhancing employees' Zhongyong thinking and by boosting their perception of psychological safety in the workplace.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the mediating role of innovative behavior on the relationships between organizational structure, such as centralization, formalization, integration, and organizational innovation performance. Design/methodology/approach The authors collected data from 140 functional managers of manufacturing organizations in the Republic of Korea. The authors used structural equation modeling procedure to evaluate the validity of proposed hypotheses. Findings The results suggest that innovative behavior mediates the links among centralization, formalization, and organizational innovation performance. However, the findings indicate that innovative behavior does not mediate the relationship between integration and organizational innovation performance. Originality/value This work is the first to examine the mediating role of innovative behavior on the associations among centralization, integration, and organizational innovation performance.

Many studies demonstrate the importance of communication in project performance. However, little is known about how project communication exerts its effects on the outcomes of capital projects that have a large impact on environmental and economic sustainability. Using a longitudinal survey and bootstrap-based structural-equation modeling, this study uncovers how project competencies and team innovative behavior affect the relationship between project communication and capital project performance. This study collects repeated measures from project managers at two time points: immediately after the initiation and planning stages end and immediately after project completion. Excluding responses with missing data, this study’s sample includes 108 capital projects. This study finds that project technical and managerial competencies completely mediate the relationship between project communication and project performance. This study also finds that team innovative behavior affects project performance through the mediating effect of project technical competence. Team innovative behavior also moderates the relationship between project technical competence and project performance. Project communication has the largest effect on project performance despite having the smallest direct effect; project managerial competence possesses the next-largest effect on project performance despite having the largest direct effect. This study discusses the managerial and research implications.

Abstract Background This study highlights the significant association between cyberchondria and quality of life among the Lebanese population in the time of COVID-19. The aim was to assess the association between cyberchondria and quality of life (QOL) of Lebanese community during the COVID-19 pandemic and assess the mediating effect of fear of COVID-19, depression, anxiety, stress and Yale-Brown Obsessive–Compulsive Scale in this association. Methods This cross-sectional study was carried out between December 2020 and January 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 449 persons participated in this study by filling the online questionnaire. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was performed to examine the structural relationship between cyberchondria severity, the mediator (anxiety, stress, depression, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) and fear of COVID-19) and physical/mental QOL. Results Having a university level of education and older age were significantly associated with higher physical QOL scores, whereas higher obsession-compulsion disorder, higher stress and higher anxiety were significantly associated with lower physical QOL scores. Higher anxiety was significantly associated with lower mental QOL scores. The results of the SEM showed that stress, fear of COVID-19 and to a lesser limit OCD, mediated the association between cyberchondria severity and physical QOL, whereas anxiety, stress and fear of COVID-19 mediated the association between cyberchondria severity and mental QOL. Conclusion This research reported interesting results encouraging more exploration of cyberchondria and its association with quality of life during this unique period of the pandemic. However, this virus has altered the lives of individuals all across the world, and the consequences will last for a long time. Along with all of the steps done to stop the development of COVID-19 and improve physical outcomes, mental health requires immediate care. More research is needed to determine the coping techniques people are employing to deal with the pandemic.

This study was intended to analyze the effect of supervisor support and job autonomy on the intention to stay. This study also examines the effect of psychological empowerment on the intention to stay. The sampling method used was non- probability sampling with the samples of female nurses in all hospitals in the Sragen Regency. The analysis used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) Software using AMOS 22 to test and estimate the causal relationship of a combination of statistical data and qualitative causal assumption data. The results of the SEM analysis of 187 respondents showed that there was a significant effect of psychological empowerment on supervisor support and intention to stay. However, psychological empowerment cannot bridge the effect of job autonomy and the intention to stay. Furthermore, this study also shows that variable of the supervisor support is the most significant variable in affecting psychological empowerment compared to job autonomy. Thus, the best strategy in increasing the desire of employees to stay in the company is to increase supervisor support and psychological empowerment.

Purpose The purpose of this study to understand the effects of training and creativity on organizational innovation under the moderating influence of the organizational climate. Design/methodology/approach The theoretical model is grounded in the contingent resource-based view. To test the research hypotheses, this paper has gathered the cross-sectional data using a single informant pre-tested questionnaire. The data were collected from respondents working in Indian automotive manufacturing organizations. The data were further tested for the normality criteria followed by hypotheses testing using co-variance-based structural equation modelling Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), 2010. Findings The relationship between training and organizational innovation was leveraged by employee creativity, which acts as a mediator between the two. Moreover, the organizational climate augments the mediation process by coherently creating a positive moderating influence. Practical implications This study provides prospective insights to management leaders and practitioners by establishing how training can bring about positive change in the innovative front of the organization. It also offers keys to the organizations for an active engagement of the employees through a supporting climate conducive for harnessing of individual creativity and innovative potential. Originality/value This is the first endeavour made to examine the moderated mediation influence of organizational climate on training and employee creativity, by studying the mediating effect of employee creativity between training and organizational innovation.

We assessed the effects of electronic collaboration using inter-organizational information systems (IOIS) on firm performance, particularly between dominant buyers and their suppliers. From the suppliers’ perspective, we examined ways in which higher levels of performance can be achieved by increasing the extent that they proactively participate in business activities using IOIS. We defined electronic collaboration as consisting of two major activities: electronic information sharing (EIS) and electronic cooperation (ECo). We also evaluated the extent of EIS and ECo that suppliers contribute to their development of an information exploitation capability (IEC). This capability enables them to utilize internally both information and knowledge created from electronic collaboration. In addition, we assessed the effects of electronic collaboration activities and IEC on a firm performance. We collected surveys from 169 firms, and conducted a Structural Equation Model analysis. We also empirically tested the research model and five hypotheses. The results of the statistical analysis indicated that electronic information sharing exerts a clear effect on electronic cooperation. We determined that EIS and ECo are major sources for the development of IEC and that both ECo and IEC result in improved company performance. Both electronic information sharing and electronic cooperation substantially foster an information exploitation capability. We also determined that the information exploitation capability has a partial mediating effect between electronic information sharing and electronic cooperation on firm performance.
