To perform technology analysis, we usually search patent documents related to target technology. In technology analysis using statistics and machine learning algorithms, we have to transform the patent documents into structured data that is a matrix of patents and keywords. In general, this matrix is very sparse because its most elements are zero values. The data is not satisfied with data normality assumption. However, most statistical methods require the assumption for data analysis. To overcome this problem, we propose a patent analysis method using Bayesian structure learning and visualization. In addition, we apply the proposed method to technology analysis of extended reality (XR). XR technology is integrated technology of virtual and real worlds that includes all of virtual, augmented and mixed realities. This technology is affecting most of our society such as education, healthcare, manufacture, disaster prevention, etc. Therefore, we need to have correct understanding of this technology. Lastly, we carry out XR technology analysis using Bayesian structure learning and visualization.

Blockchain is a secure distributed management technology for data. Until now, blockchain technology has been intensively developed in financial fields such as Bitcoin. As the blockchain technology develops, the application fields of blockchain are expected to further expand. We proposed a technology analysis method for sustainability of blockchain technology. We analyzed the patent documents related to blockchain for sustainable technology analysis. To carry out the technology analysis, we preprocessed the patent documents and built a structure data, document-term matrix. In general, most elements of this matrix are zeros, so it is very skewed. Due to the skewness, technology analysis by traditional methods of statistics has analytical difficulty. To overcome this problem, we proposed a technology analysis method based on generalized additive modeling. To show how our proposed method can be applied to practical fields, we collected and analyzed the patent documents of blockchain technology.

Buffer overflow vulnerability is a kind of consequence in which programmers’ intentions are not implemented correctly. In this paper, a static analysis method based on machine learning is proposed to assist in auditing buffer overflow vulnerabilities. First, an extended code property graph is constructed from the source code to extract seven kinds of static attributes, which are used to describe buffer properties. After embedding these attributes into a vector space, five frequently used machine learning algorithms are employed to classify the functions into suspicious vulnerable functions and secure ones. The five classifiers reached an average recall of 83.5%, average true negative rate of 85.9%, a best recall of 96.6%, and a best true negative rate of 91.4%. Due to the imbalance of the training samples, the average precision of the classifiers is 68.9% and the average F1 score is 75.2%. When the classifiers were applied to a new program, our method could reduce the false positive to 1/12 compared to Flawfinder.

تأتي هذه الورقة البحثية في معالجة ما ساء من الأفهام وانتشر حول موقف الإسلام من الحريات الفردية في اتخاذ القرارات والمواقف، إذ تتعالى في ذلك بعض الأصوات من دعاة حقوق الإنسان في تصوير الإسلام أنه حجّر على الحريات الفردية وقيدها (الموسى: 2019، مقدمة الكتاب) بصورة تلغي حق الإنسان في اختياراته الخاصة، وفي إطار ذلك الإشكال تدرس هذه الورقة قضية الولاية على المرأة في عقد الزواج، إذ تعمل على إظهار بعض الممارسات التي كرستها الكثير من الأعراف في أن الولاية سلطة مطلقة للولي (الأب، الأخ...) تمنع حق البنت في حرية الاختيار وهذا ما جعل بعض المنظمات الحقوقية النسوية تدعو بالرفع المطلق للولاية في الزواج، وأن الاختيار في الزواج حق محض ومطلق للبنت. وتستند الدراسة إلى منهجين: المنهج الاستقرائي في تتبع وجمع المادة العلمية من المصادر والمراجع ذات العلاقة بالموضوع، والمنهج التحليلي في بيان المفاهيم الصحيحة للولاية وممارساتها في المجتمع، وفي إظهار أوجه الخطورة على حفظ الأسرة المسلمة من دعوات الحقوقين في إلغائها. تهدف هذه الورقة إلى بيان المفهوم الصحيح للولاية في الزواج وأحكامها وشروطها في ضوء مقاصد الشريعة من حيث أنها تعمل على جلب ما فيه نفع للأسرة وضمان استقرارها واستمرارها، ودرء كل ما فيه ضرر متوقع على زواج البنت دون ولاية وليها من حيث بيان مفاسدها في الإخلال بمقاصد الزواج والأسرة باعتبار المآل. وتهدف في نتائجها أيضًا إلى بيان وسائل غرس ثقافة أسرية أصيلة وسليمة لمواجهة التحديات المعاصرة التي تتربص بالأسرة المسلمة في الأمة. الكلمات المفتاحية: الولاية، عقد الزواج، مقاصد الأسرة، التحديات المعاصرة. Abstract This paper deals with the widespread misunderstandings regarding the Islamic standpoint in relation to individual freedom in taking decisions and holding positions as there are arising some voices from human right activists claiming that Islam has abandoned and restricted individual freedoms (Musa: 2019) in such a way where it vialotes the rights of the humans in their private choices. In the same context, this paper tries to study the issue of guardianship in the marriage highlighting some practices which have rooted in many customs giving the impression that guardianship is an absolute authority of the giardians (father, brother…) which deprives the girl to make her own choice. It resulted in some feminists and women rights movements asking for complete abolition of the guardianship in the marriage and demanding full and absolute freedom of marriage for a girl. The present study relies on two methods: inductive method which enables to collect all the academic materials from the related sources, and content analysis method through which correct connotations of guardianship and its practices in the society will be explained highlighting the potential dangers of the demands of complete abolition of the guardianship to the preservation of the family. This paper aims to present the correct understanding on guardianship in the marriage, its rulings and its conditions in the light of Maqasid al-Shariah as it acts to achieve what is beneficial for the family and guarntees its permanence and establishment as well as it removes the potential harms on the marriage of the girl without guardianship. It also indicates its evils as interrupting the objectives of the marriage and family from consequential point of view. As a result, this paper also aims to discusses the resources for inculcating a good and safe family culture which can counter contemporary challenges aiming to destroy the Muslim families of the Ummah.            Keywords: Guardianship, Contract of Marriage, Objectives of the Family, Contemporary Challenges.

Many data mining and analytical tasks rely on the abstraction of networks (graphs) to summarize relational structures among individuals (nodes). Since relational data are often sensitive, we aim to seek effective approaches to generate utility-preserved yet privacy-protected structured data. In this paper, we leverage the differential privacy (DP) framework to formulate and enforce rigorous privacy constraints on deep graph generation models, with a focus on edge-DP to guarantee individual link privacy. In particular, we enforce edge-DP by injecting designated noise to the gradients of a link reconstruction based graph generation model, while ensuring data utility by improving structure learning with structure-oriented graph discrimination. Extensive experiments on two real-world network datasets show that our proposed DPGGAN model is able to generate graphs with effectively preserved global structure and rigorously protected individual link privacy.

Context-aware middlewares support applications with context management. Current middlewares support both hardware and software sensors providing data in structured forms (e.g., temperature, wind, and smoke sensors). Nevertheless, recent advances in machine learning paved the way for acquiring context from information-rich, loosely structured data such as audio or video signals. This paper describes a framework (CAMeL) enriching context-aware middlewares with machine learning capabilities. The framework is focused on acquiring contextual information from sensors providing loosely structured data without the need for developers of implementing dedicated application code or making use of external libraries. Nevertheless the general goal of context-aware middlewares is to make applications more dynamic and adaptive, and the proposed framework itself can be programmed for dynamically selecting sensors and machine learning algorithms on a contextual basis. We show with experiments and case studies how the CAMeL framework can (i) promote code reuse and reduce the complexity of context-aware applications by natively supporting machine learning capabilities and (ii) self-adapt using the acquired context allowing improvements in classification accuracy while reducing energy consumption on mobile platforms.

This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the values of dakwah contained in the novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika (BTDLA) by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra in terms of the social situation of the community. This research uses content analysis method with the genetic structural approach. Data collection techniques use documentation and interview.The results show that from social situation community view it is found about the negative perspective of the community toward Islam that gives a change to Moslems to give a correct understanding of Islam. Just by looking at clothing that has an Islamic symbol, like a robe or face mask, the western society instantly puts the suspicion without fundamental. Everything is the same. Therefore, Muslims should provide a correct understanding of Islam. A Muslim must be a good Islamic agent in a suspicious society. A reflection of good Muslim conduct and behavior is one attempt to answer the doubts of American society to Islam after the September 11 tragedy. Hanya dengan melihat pakaian yang memiliki simbol keislaman, seperti gamis atau cadar penutup muka, masyarakat barat langsung menaruh kecurigaan yang tanpa mendasar. Semuanya dipandang sama. Karena itu, umat muslim haruslah memberikan pemahaman yang benar tentang Islam. Seorang muslim haruslah menjadi agen Islam yang baik di tengah masyarakat yang penuh curiga. Cerminan tindakan dan perilaku muslim yang baik merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menjawab keraguan masyarakat Amerika terhadap Islam setelah tragedi 11 September. Hal ini sangat berhubungan dengan nilai-nilai dakwah yang diceritakan dalam novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra ini.Kata kunci: nilai dakwah, situasi sosial masyarakat, dan struktural genetik

Under the present situation, the healthcare delivery system is prohibitively expensive, inefficient, and unsustainable. Machine Learning (ML) has revolutionized the way businesses and individuals use data to increase system performance. Strategists can work with a range of organized, non - structured, and semi-structured data using machine learning algorithms. This device provides a virtual assistant who can converse with patients in their native language to understand their symptoms, recommend doctors, and monitor health metrics. To process users' complaints and find the closest doctor who can help handle the user's case, the solution relies on natural language processing models and machine learning analytic methodology. A deep bilinear similarity model is also proposed by the framework to boost the generated SQL queries used for predictions and algorithms. BERT and SQLOVA models are used to train the device data collection.
