The article analyzes the transport problem of increasing the capacity of the road and reduc-ing delays of vehicles and passengers on the way. There is a need to choose the optimal ratio of in-tersections with the use of technical means of traffic management in the overall structure of the transport hub, taking into account the main elements. The main factors influencing the technical and economic indicators for the construction of intersections of varying complexity are deter-mined. A solution is proposed to optimize the choice of the structure of the transport node, taking into account various ratios by the method of fuzzy sets.

A cluster analysis of field observation data was performed using the Statistica 12 software, connections were established in the middle of the data set, and the obtained data were organized into certain structures. As a result of the clustering, groups of clusters that have the greatest impact on speed were identified. Determining the hierarchy of factors influencing the speed and safety of the transport process shall improve approaches for modeling traffic flow velocity dependences. The paper describes an analysis of road safety risk factors.Problem Statement. The need to modernize approaches for traffic flow prediction, traffic volume distribution on the road network, means and methods of traffic management, traffic management systems in connection with quantitative and qualitative changes in the transport sector of Ukraine.Purpose. Road safety risk factors validation and ranking.Materials and method. Mathematical modeling and cluster analysis using survey data.Results. The dependence of speed on road conditions was improved using mathematical modeling.Conclusions. Variants of the intensification of the solvent dewaxing process, which increase the yield of base oils, are described. One of the promising ways to improve the technical and economic indicators of the dewaxing process is the use of modifying additives. The work shows that the introduction of a polymer additive requires a decrease in the filtration rate and, accordingly, an increase in the performance of the dewaxing unit. This results in a petrolatum with a reduced oil content, which is a qualifying factor for the production of high-melting ceresins, protective-wax components, and lubricants for various purposes.

Subject. This article examines the issues related to changes in reproduction capacity and heterogeneity of the development of Russian regions. Objectives. The article aims to assess regional differentiation and investigate the main factors influencing the uneven development of the areas. Methods. For the study, we used the methods of comparative and correlation analyses. Results. The article identifies groups of leading and lagging Russian regions and assesses the possibility of convergence of Russian regions according to the analyzed indicators, such as GRP, GRP per capita, and the output of industry. Conclusions. The results obtained can be used when preparing strategic policy documents, spatial development programmes and concepts. The observed heterogeneity suggests that the regions maintain their positions throughout the research period.

При выборе типа доильной установки и ее размера необходимо учитывать максимальное планируемое поголовье дойных коров и размер технологической группы, кратность и время одного доения, продолжительность рабочей смены дояров. Анализ технико-экономических показателей наиболее распространенных на сегодняшний день типов доильных установок одинакового технического уровня свидетельствует, что наилучшие удельные показатели имеет установка типа «Карусель» (1), а установка типа «Елочка» (2) требует более высоких затрат труда и средств. Установка «Параллель» (3) занимает промежуточное положение. Из анализа пропускной способности и количества необходимых операторов: установка 2 рекомендована для ферм с поголовьем дойного стада до 600 голов, 3 — не более 1200 дойных коров, 1 — более 1200 дойных коров. «Карусель» — наиболее рациональный, высокопроизводительный, легко автоматизируемый и, следовательно, перспективный способ доения в залах, особенно для крупных молочных ферм. The choice of the proper type and size of milking installations needs to take into account the maximum planned number of dairy cows, the size of a technological group, the number of milkings per day, and the duration of one milking and the operator's working shift. The analysis of technical and economic indicators of currently most common types of milking machines of the same technical level revealed that the Carousel installation had the best specific indicators while the Herringbone installation featured higher labour inputs and cash costs. The Parallel installation was found somewhere in between. In terms of the throughput and the required number of operators Herringbone is recommended for farms with up to 600 dairy cows, Parallel — below 1200 dairy cows, Carousel — above 1200 dairy cows. Carousel was found the most practical, high-performance, easily automated and, therefore, promising milking system for milking parlours, especially on the large-scale dairy farms.

AbstractCarbon black-filled polymer composites were investigated as sensing materials for organic liquids. Polypropylene and polystyrene which were selected as matrices and various amounts of carbon black were considered as the main factors influencing sensitivity of the composites in view of the percolation theory. Disposable filaments were produced of these materials. Change in their electrical resistivity was measured upon immersion in benzene, toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene and their mixtures. It has been found that studied materials were sensitive to the composition of liquid mixtures of organic solvent. Relationships between the filament response and volumetric fraction of the components were presented. The studied materials have shown promising sensing properties, which suggest their applicability for identification and quantification of multicomponent organic liquids.
