The amount of plastic waste around the Mranggen Market and Pondok Pesantren K.H. Murodi Mranggen Demak is a cause for concern. Good waste management so that plastic waste has use value and is beneficial for the environment around Islamic boarding schools is the goal in this service. The methods used are: problem mapping, design, manufacture, operation test, operation assistance and marketing training for production products. The strategy used to make plastic waste valuable is by conducting training in making variations of plastic waste product crafts with Eco-Bricks made into chairs, flower vases, bags, wallets, prayer mats and others. In addition, it is to strengthen good waste management among students. The results of this santripreneur activity are 1) Santri feel excited to understand and do entrepreneurship/studentpreneurs from an early age; 2) students understand the importance of processing waste and the importance of providing added value to products made from plastic waste, 3) 80 percent of students are able to make variations of crafts from plastic waste and 20 percent still need further assistance, 4) marketing is carried out in collaboration with MSMEs in Indonesia. Semarang and Demak so that it can make passive income for students.

Bank  Sampah Beraksi di dukuh Selo, Desa Pojok, Kecamatan Tawangsari, Kabupaten Sukoharjo ini telah memiliki rumah bank sampah yang bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan pengelolaan bank sampah. Dari pengelolaan bank sampah ini, warga mulai teredukasi untuk  secara kreatif memanfaatkan sampah  yang bisa didaur ulang untuk bahan kerajinan tangan yang memiliki potensi ekonomis komersil disamping pemanfaatan untuk internal dekorasi galeri seni di kampung. Potensi tersebut dapat dimaksimalkan dengan mengolah sampah menjadi produk-produk yang kreatif-inovatif dan berdaya jual tinggi. Konsep pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat akan semakin meningkatkan nilai tambah, ketika masyarakat mempunyai mindset greenpreneurship, yaitu konsep kewirausahaan yang memberikan kontribusi terhadap lingkungan. Program ini diharapkan akan menumbuhkankembangkan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan dengan cara yang bertanggungjawab sekaligus memberdayakan potensi untuk dikembangkan. Indikator hasil pengabdian diantaranya (1) tingkat kehadiran dan antusiasme peserta tinggi, (2) daya serap materi pelatihan peserta menggembirakan. 2) Target output pelatihan tercapai yang ditandai dengan terwujudnya produk kerajinan yang dihasilkan oleh para peserta. 3) Keberhasilan tersebut didukung oleh kompetensi dan komitmen tinggi dari pelatih.  The Garbage Bank “Beraksi” in the Selo hamlet, Pojok Village, Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency already has a garbage bank house that aims to maximize the management of the garbage bank. From the management of this garbage bank, residents have begun to be educated to creatively utilize recyclable waste for handicraft materials that have commercial economic potential besides the utilization for internal decoration of art galleries in the village. This potential can be maximized by processing waste into creative-innovative and high-selling products. The concept of a community-based waste management will further increase the added value, when the community has a mindset of green entrepreneurship, namely the concept of entrepreneurship that contributes to the environment. The program is expected to foster a love for the environment in a way that is responsible while empowering the potential to be developed. Indicators of the results of devotion include (1) the level of attendance and enthusiasm of participants is high, (2) the absorption of participants' training materials is encouraging. 2) The training output target is achieved which is marked by the realization of handicraft products produced by the participants. 3) The success is supported by competence and high commitment from the trainer.

<p>The study aims to describe the plastic waste management from a processing perspective that has economic value added. Conversion of waste into an economic value, is one practice that can be a role of model, so that it can guide a certain region to do good and correct waste of management. The potential of Aceh’s plastic waste is relatively large, which must be considered by the regional government to be able to realize related to plastic waste processing  ctivities by the processor, where the existence is a large potential to be used as an opportunity for recycle. The current practice is still a little and only processing the plastic waste to become plastic chips, and there is no plastic waste processing  converted into processed plastic products. The existence of this processing can provide  conomic Added value for its owners  and provide benefits to  local governments as well. Therefore, it is need the role of  he Aceh government to bring up the spirit of entrepreneurship, especially in the management and processing of  lastic waste. On the other hand, a spirit of togetherness is needed through coordination and cooperation between local governments and non-governmental institutions, activists and environmentalists to carry out the mandate of the law relating to environmental conservation including waste management activities  that can be added to  conomic value.</p>

Waste is generated by various day to day human activities. Adopting improper waste handling and disposal methods can harm the well-being of public and environment. Waste management creates new opportunities for entrepreneurs in terms of social causes and it affects the economic structure and economic status of any country. One of the new approaches in waste management and income generation is Social entrepreneurship. But in Bharat i.e. India the young entrepreneurs have a dearth of consciousness towards social entrepreneurship. This paper discusses the status of solid waste management in India and Government initiatives for managing Solid Waste at Dharamshala. The main objectives of study are 1) to check awareness of people in managing solid waste at Dharamsala 2) and how to convert the plastic waste into theme based parks as skilled initiative for entrepreneurs at tourist spots in Himachal Pradesh. The paper thus explores the scope for entrepreneurs in waste management. The study reveals that Solid waste management concept attracted the attention of government around 1970s. But till now we believe in filling the waste in the ground or putting them in the dustbin. Government of India has created few acts and rules on waste management which are listed in this paper. Through this study it is revealed that people of Dharamshala welcome to the construction of themed parks made from plastic bottles. Majority of these people believe in separating waste at home and according to them conditions of waste disposal at Dharamshala are not very good. There is a positive correlation between people’s opinion of constructing theme parks and using plastic bottles in park’s construction. Study believes that the quantity of plastic waste in our country is endless which creates lot scope and opportunity to the social entrepreneurs.

The problem of waste is always an interesting thing that never runs out to find a solution. One of them is plastic packaging waste that is widely used by the community and cannot be decomposed again by nature. In line with the SDGs issue, Indonesia is the second largest country that disposes of plastic waste in the world after China. This is very dangerous for the natural beauty of Indonesia's vast seas, and destroys a very diverse ecosystem. Existing plastic waste that comes from household waste, it can be used easily and cheaply into Ecobrick. Ecobrick is a term for the result of managing plastic waste into a brick that can be used as useful items such as chairs or tables. This plastic waste management training activity was carried out for housewives in Cibitung Tengah Village, Bogor Regency to find out the use of plastic waste that can be recycled to be used as useful goods. In addition, to provide awareness of the importance of sorting household waste in order to help preserve nature. Keywords: ecobricks, management, household, plastic waste
