O município de Bonito está localizado a sudoeste do Mato Grosso do Sul na microrregião geográfica Bodoquena, tendo a pecuária e o turismo como principais atividades econômicas. Através do ecoturismo o município tem buscado promover o desenvolvimento nas áreas sociais, econômicas e ambientais. Assim, a presente pesquisa procurou avaliar a percepção dos estudantes do ensino básico (8º e 9º anos) de uma escola municipal sobre o desenvolvimento turístico na região e a necessidade de inserção de visita técnica orientada na disciplina curricular “Noções Básicas do Turismo”. A disciplina está presente na grade curricular desde 2006, porém não promove regularmente atividades em campo. Para levantamento dos dados foi utilizada entrevista semi-estruturada e o Teste de Associação Livre de Palavras (TALP) e analisadas segundo o Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (DSC) e a Teoria das Representações Sociais (TRS). Apesar dos estudantes terem sido favoráveis ao desenvolvimento do turismo na região de Bonito, poucos demonstraram envolvimento direto ou indireto com as atividades turísticas. No entanto, os estudantes demonstraram ter conhecimento e uma relação afetiva com a fauna local, garantindo assim a promoção da educação ambiental, sobretudo na visita orientada, para que as mesmas não tenham apenas o enfoque de lazer. A experiência com a visita orientada também permitiu o resgate da identidade da coletividade, através da afinidade e forte interação que os estudantes demonstraram com o meio ambiente. Estes resultados, entretanto, indicaram a necessidade da inserção das visitas técnicas orientadas aos atrativos turísticos de Bonito como base metodológica nas atividades escolares. Social representations of students in basic education in tourism development in the city of Bonito (MS, Brazil) The city of Bonito is located in southwestern Mato Grosso do Sul in the Bodoquena region. The economy consists primarily of ranching and tourism. Through tourism, the town has sought to promote social, economic and environmental development. This study sought to assess the perception of students in their 8th and 9th years at a public school regarding the development of tourism in the region and the need to include a field trip related to their “Basic Concepts of Tourism” course. The class has been present in the curriculum since 2006, but does not include routine field trips. A semi-structured interview and the Free Word Association Test (TALP) were used to collect data, and were analyzed using Collective Discourse of the Subject (DSC) and the Social Representations Theory (TRS). Although students felt favorably toward the development of tourism in the Bonito regions, few demonstrated direct or indirect involvement in tourism activities. However, students demonstrated knowledge of and concern for the local wildlife, thus guaranteeing support for environmental education, as noted during the visit during which students were not focused solely on having fun. The guided visit also allowed for the development of a collective identity through the affinity and deep interaction the students demonstrated with the environment. These results, however, suggest the need to include methodology-based guided field trips to Bonito’s tourist attractions in the school curriculum. Based on questionnaires, a research was applied to students and teachers of elementary school in the municipality of Vila Velha (Espírito Santo, Brazil) aiming to verify the interest and knowledge about the “coastal zone”. The beach was one of the topics addressed in the investigation due to its importance and relevance to the city. From this initial verification, it was possible to infer about the need/possibility of incorporating themes inherent to the coast in educational and environmental education programs. The results indicated that there is a great interest in the processes involved in the beach environment, which would already allow the community to begin to raise awareness, from a young age, about the importance of their participation in coastal management programs. However, some gaps have been identified; students are still unaware of some relatively simple concepts on the subject, didactic material on the subject is scarce in schools, and field and laboratory practices involving the coastal environment are little used resources. The dialogue between basic education and coastal management can be a didactically viable path and contribute both to the acquisition of content and to the training of student-citizens more aware of their responsibilities as transforming, dependent and responsible agents for the environment. The aim of this study was to carry out the scientific dissemination of research on problem-based learning (PBL) with highschool Chemistry teachers through a website and to investigate their opinions on this digital resource. Also, analyse the knowledge of teachers about PBL and its use in the classroom. The set of data was collected through of a semi-structured interview  conducted with ten highschool Chemistry teachers in the city of Recife - Pernambuco, Brazil. Analysis of data implied that teachers know PBL and that they use it in the classroom, however with some difficulties. In general, their opinions about the website were positive and significant. Most of them commented that the website will serve as a didactic support in the preparation of their lessons providing access to solutions to various problematic situations regarding different contents in chemistry. Furthermore, the website will allow basic education teachers to have access to knowledge that has been discussed in Brazilian universities.

Dilaridae is a small family of Neuroptera that includes fewer than 80 described species of which 10 are known from Brazil in the states of Amazonas, Rondônia, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná and Santa Catarina. This note includes the first record of the family for the state of Pernambuco, with the report of Nallachius dicolor Adams, 1970 in the city of Jatobá (northeastern Brazil).

ABSTRACT Objectives: characterize the studied population about the social demographics factors and verify the mother`s knowledge on breastfeeding. Method:  this is about a transversal, prospective and descriptive study with mother`s attended by the Children Clinic in Cáceres/MT where a semi-structured interview questionnaire was applied containing dada of social demographic characterization and questions over breastfeeding; the work was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Cuiaba University, under the registration number 126/2009. To analyze the results the categorical variables and the variables on the mother`s knowledge were described using taxes, proportion and raw numbers. Results: 56% were over 24 years old, 46% had only basic education, 73% were housewives, 46% were primigravidae and among the multigravidae almost all of them had breastfed earlier children for a period equal or superior to six months. All of them gave satisfactory answers about the ideal period and benefits of breastfeeding. Conclusion: it is concluded that the mothers had an adequate knowledge over the benefits that breastfeeding has over the development and growth of health children and for the mother`s health, even though they are young and primigravidae; low schooling of the mothers, isolated, it can`t be associated to the breastfeeding flaws. It was not possible to associate the level of knowledge with breastfeeding flaws. There were flaws during the prenatal relating to the thematic approach by health professionals. Para análise dos resultados descreveu-se as variáveis categóricas e variáveis sobre conhecimento das mães usando-se taxas, proporções e números brutos. Resultados: 56% tinham mais de 24 anos, 46% tinham apenas ensino fundamental, 73% eram donas de casa, 46% eram primigestas e entre as multíparas a quase totalidade amamentou filhos anteriores por um período igual ou superior a seis meses. Todas deram respostas satisfatórias sobre o período ideal e benefícios do aleitamento materno. Conclusão: concluiu-se que estas mães têm um nível adequado de conhecimento sobre os benefícios que o aleitamento materno tem sobre o desenvolvimento e crescimento saudáveis das crianças e para a saúde da mãe, mesmo estas sendo jovens e primigestas; a baixa escolaridade das puérperas, isoladamente, não pode ser associada com falhas na amamentação. Não foi possível associar o nível de conhecimento com falhas na amamentação. Houve falhas durante o pré-natal em relação à abordagem da temática por profissionais de saúde. Método: estudio transversal, prospectivo y descriptivo con veintiséis madres asistidas en el Ambulatorio Infantil en Cáceres - Brasil dónde se aplicó un cuestionario de entrevista semiestructurada conteniendo informaciones de caracterización sociodemográfica  y cuestiones sobre lactancia materna; el estudio fue aprobado por el Comité de Ética en Investigación de la Universidad de Cuiabá, sob protocolo n. 126/2009. Para análisis de los resultados se describió las variables categóricas y variables acerca del conocimiento de madres utilizando tasas, proporciones y números brutos. Resultados: 56% tenían más de 24 años, 46% con escuela primaria, 73% eran donas de casa, 46% eran primigestas y entre las mujeres con hijos anteriores casi todas practicaran la lactancia materna por seis meses o más. Todas respondieron satisfactoriamente sobre el tiempo ideal y ventajas de la lactancia materna. Conclusión: se puede concluir que las madres tienen un bueno nivel de conocimiento de las ventajas que la lactancia materna tiene acerca del desarrollo y crecimiento saludables de los infantes y para la salud de las madres, mismo estas siendo jóvenes y primigestas; la baja escolaridad de las madres, individualmente, no pude estar asociada con errores en la lactancia.  No fue posible asociar el nivel de conocimiento con errores en la lactancia. Hube errores en el prenatal en relación a abordaje del tema por profesionales de salud. Descriptores: conocimiento; lactancia materna; atención prenatal.

ABSTRACT: Collections of larvae of Spodoptera frugiperda (Smith, 1797) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) carried out in the field in three localities in the city of Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, from October 2012 to March 2014, recorded the presence of three species of Diptera parasitizing Spodoptera frugiperda: two species of Tachinidae, Achytas incertus (Macquart, 1851) and Winthemia trinitatis Thompson, 1963, and one species of Sarcophagidae, Peckia (Sarcodexia) lambens (Wiedemann, 1830). The latter is identified for the first time parasitizing S. frugiperda in Brazil.

Compreendamos a Educação Ambiental como sendo um bloco de ensinamentos teórico-práticos que objetiva fazer com que o indivíduo atente para as ações promovidas por ele mesmo e perceba a importância destas para a preservação e conservação do meio ambiente, visando o bem-estar e a saúde de todos os seres vivos. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi fazer um levantamento do perfil dos gestores escolares entrevistados, além de analisar as contribuições dos gestores para a promoção do conhecimento acerca dos temas “Sustentabilidade” e “Meio Ambiente”, contribuindo para a Educação Ambiental nas escolas e na sociedade. Esta é uma pesquisa de campo e apresentou uma abordagem qualitativa, sendo realizada em sete escolas de ensino público municipal da Regional V, na cidade de Fortaleza. Participaram desta pesquisa sete gestores escolares, das sete escolas que foram o cenário desta pesquisa. Utilizou-se um questionário e uma entrevista semi-estruturada para a coleta de dados. Sobre o exercício da função de gestor, percebeu-se que 71,4% dos entrevistados gerem apenas uma escola, enquanto apenas 28,56% gerem duas ou mais. Notou-se, também, que, sobre o tempo total de experiência na função, 28,56% dos entrevistados informaram que têm entre 16 – 20 anos como gestor e, sobre o tempo de gestão nas escolas atuais, 42,84% estão entre três e cinco anos na função. Conclui-se que, na comunidade escolar, todos os integrantes têm o seu devido papel, mas, diante da sua função, o gestor é a pessoa responsável por incentivar, apoiar e se mostrar disponível para ações desta natureza.AbstractWe understand Environmental Education as being a block of theoretical-practical teachings that aims to make the individual attentive to the actions promoted by himself and realize the importance of these for the preservation and conservation of the environment, aiming at the well-being and health of all living things. The objective of this research was to survey the profile of school managers interviewed, as well as to analyze the contributions of managers to the promotion of knowledge about "Sustainability" and "Environment", contributing to Environmental Education in schools and society. This is a field research and presented a qualitative approach, being carried out in seven municipal public schools of the Regional V, in the city of Fortaleza. Seven school managers participated in this research, from the seven schools that were the scene of this research. A questionnaire and a semi-structured interview were used to collect data. Regarding the role of manager, 71.4% of respondents managed only one school, while only 28.56% managed two or more. It was also noted that 28.56% of the respondents reported that they had between 16 and 20 years of age as manager, and 42.84% of their three and five years in office. It is concluded that, in the school community, all the members have their proper role, but, given their role, the manager is the person responsible for encouraging, supporting and showing himself available for actions of this nature.

Objective. To analyze the concepts of patient safety from the perspective of the social representations of intensive care nurses. Methods. An exploratory, qualitative and quantitative study, based on the Theory of Social Representations, was conducted in a large hospital in northeastern Brazil, with 20 intensive care nurses. Data collection took place in 2019, using the techniques of free word association test and semi-structured interview. The lexicons apprehended in the test were processed by the OpenEvoc software, by prototypical analysis of the evocations, and for the interview data, thematic content analysis was used. Results. In the composition of the central nucleus, the elements of surveillance, knowledge, identification, communication, and quality stood out, and in the constitution of the peripheral system of the social representations of intensive care nurses permeate care, attention, attitudes, and normative aspects. The triangulation of the findings outlined three thematic categories: Central dimensions of critical patient safety; Attitudinal dimensions for patient safety in intensive care; Normative dimensions linked to the safe handling of the patient in the ICU. Conclusion. The social representations of intensive care nurses reveal that the critical patient's conceptions of security involve effective surveillance and communication, promotion of a safe environment based on risk prevention, use of guides and protocols, teamwork, and the sense of responsibility and commitment to individuality of being cared for, elements that for this social group, are the differential for assertive and safe care.


The speech valve can be safe and effective for tracheostomized, conscious patients with tolerance to deflated cuff. It can be coupled between 48 and 72 hours after tracheostomy, depending on the airway permeability. Objective: The objective of this study was to identify the impact of the use of the speech valve on adult patients hospitalized in the city of Campo Grande, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, aiming at swallowing, reintroduction of diet orally in a safe way and decannulation. Method: The longitudinal method with indirect and direct evaluation with PAP, PITA, PARD, BLUE DAY TEST, DECANULATION PROTOCOL AND SCALE was used in adult and hospitalized patients. Results: Regarding the criterion of time for decannulation, after the beginning of the training with the speech valve, we consider the following findings. All patients decannulated within a maximum of 15 days after the use of the speech valve. All started oral feeding in a maximum of 7 days after using the speech valve. And SNE was removed in all patients within 15 days after using the speech valve. There is evidence that the use of the speech valve has positive impacts on the swallowing process, reintroduction of the diet orally in a safe way and on the decannulation process. Conclusion: It was concluded that the use of the speech valve brought benefits to patients, in addition to facilitating the phonation process and the adjustment of the respiratory pattern closer to the physiological one before decannulation has an importance in swallowing and a decrease in the time of swallowing. A criação do Geopark Bodoquena-Pantanal se deu em dezembro de 2009, com publicação no Diário Oficial nº 7.610. A região sudoeste do Estado é propícia para o desenvolvimento do geoturismo. Sendo assim, o presente trabalho busca discutir e apresentar a relação do Geopark Bodoquena Pantanal com o desenvolvimento do geoturismo, destacando as suas potencialidades e limitações como elementos que podem compor à oferta turística do Núcleo de Nioaque, em Mato Grosso do Sul. Entretanto, a justificativa principal para desenvolver a pesquisa se baseou na criação do Núcleo de Nioaque acerca do Geopark Bodoquena Pantanal, portanto, faz-se necessário analisar este novo contexto que se apresenta para o município. Faz-se necessário analisar este novo contexto que se apresenta para o município. Para realizar a análise será utilizada a matriz SWOT (Streghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities e Threads), que significa força, fraqueza, oportunidades e ameaças. Assim, identificou-se quais os pontos fortes a serem explorados, e quais pontos fracos que são necessários trabalhar para eliminar os riscos na gestão do negócio. Esse recurso possibilitou enxergar a situação atual do empreendimento, antecipando o futuro, visualizando as oportunidades e prevenindo as ameaças. Preliminary analysis of the insertion the first center Geopark Bodoquena Pantanal in the city of Nioaque (MS, Brazil) ABSTRACT The creation of the Bodoquena-Pantanal geopark occurred in December 2009, with publication in the Official Gazette No. 7,610. The state's southwestern region is conducive to the development of geotourism. Thus, this paper aims to discuss and present the Geopark Bodoquena Pantanal's relationship with the development of geotourism, highlighting their potentials and limitations as elements that compose the tourist offer of Nioaque Center in Mato Grosso do Sul (Brazil). However, the main justification for developing the research was based on the creation of Nioaque Center about Geopark Bodoquena Pantanal, therefore, it is necessary to review this new context which is presented to the council. To perform the analysis shall include a SWOT matrix (Streghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threads). Thus, we identified the strengths to be explored and what weaknesses we need to work to eliminate the risks in the management of the business. This feature made it possible to see the current situation of the enterprise, anticipating the future, see the opportunities and preventing the threats.
