The speech valve can be safe and effective for tracheostomized, conscious patients with tolerance to deflated cuff. It can be coupled between 48 and 72 hours after tracheostomy, depending on the airway permeability. Objective: The objective of this study was to identify the impact of the use of the speech valve on adult patients hospitalized in the city of Campo Grande, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, aiming at swallowing, reintroduction of diet orally in a safe way and decannulation. Method: The longitudinal method with indirect and direct evaluation with PAP, PITA, PARD, BLUE DAY TEST, DECANULATION PROTOCOL AND SCALE was used in adult and hospitalized patients. Results: Regarding the criterion of time for decannulation, after the beginning of the training with the speech valve, we consider the following findings. All patients decannulated within a maximum of 15 days after the use of the speech valve. All started oral feeding in a maximum of 7 days after using the speech valve. And SNE was removed in all patients within 15 days after using the speech valve. There is evidence that the use of the speech valve has positive impacts on the swallowing process, reintroduction of the diet orally in a safe way and on the decannulation process. Conclusion: It was concluded that the use of the speech valve brought benefits to patients, in addition to facilitating the phonation process and the adjustment of the respiratory pattern closer to the physiological one before decannulation has an importance in swallowing and a decrease in the time of swallowing. Decannulation.

Considered as one of the tools available to the researcher to understand and analyze the process and course of phenomena, the longitudinal qualitative study remains, despite its importance, an ignored research protocol and is rarely used in management sciences. This contribution aims to provide clarification elements regarding the definition, typology, data collection methods and analysis of results in longitudinal qualitative research. It provides a helpful guide for conducting and reviewing longitudinal studies in these sciences.

Cheeker), “Diagnostics of the motivational structure of a personality” (V.E. Milman), “Humorous phrases test” (HFT) (A.G. Shmelev, A.S. Babina); longitudinal sections method (longitudinal method). As statistical methods for analyzing the results, methods of parametric (multiple linear regression) and nonparametric statistics (Friedman, Wilcoxon tests) were used.

Malaysia is a country that leads in the Islamic Financial sector. In fact, Malaysia is the first country that has established Islamic Interbank Money Market (IIMM) while banks in other countries only provide high liquidity instruments without platform. However, in 2010, International Islamic Liquidity Management (IILM) has been established to manage the liquidity globally. IILM is led by Malaysia because of its authority in Islamic Finance. Since its establishment, IILM manages the global liquidity through short term wakalah sukuk only. Thus, why is IILM needed if it only issues one instrument? In comparison, IIMM have many high liquidity instruments to meet the needs of IFI in Malaysia. In fact, IIMM is a strong platform for managing liquidity in Malaysia. By using the interview and longitudinal method, the researchers found out that IILM does not threaten the preexisting IIMM in Malaysia because both IILM and IIMM have different missions and visions. Therefore, IIMM is needed in Malaysia. However, IILM is not only needed in Malaysia but also globally. The world acceptance on the IILM’s short-term instrument would help in solving the issues regarding the excess liquidity in IFI. However, IILM still have to make various improvements to achieve its own objectives.
