Planning a tourism trip is an important part for tourists so that their tour is satisfying. Service bureaus that have a function to help provide information and prepare tourist travel plans for tourists often provide random destination choices because they do not know the pattern of selecting tourist destinations. This will be detrimental to tourists when service bureaus make wrong tourism travel plans. Tourists also often find it difficult to determine which tourist destination to go to because they do not know the environmental conditions in tourist destinations. To overcome this problem, in this study, knowledge discovery and virtual tours are carried out to increase the promotion of tourism. Knowledge discovery is finding information or knowledge. Knowledge discovery uses data mining techniques to perform data analysis and find patterns. The data mining model that can be used is the frequent pattern by looking for Association Rule Mining from the data. Virtual tour is a technique that can provide 360 ??+ 180 degree images. The virtual tour will be able to show the overall environmental conditions at the tourist destination. The results that have been obtained are in the form of a quick recommendation of tourist attractions in accordance with the country of origin of tourists based on the Association rule mining values. The virtual tour has presented a 360 degree panoramic photo view to inform the environment situation in the place commented by the system.

Mount Bromo is a famous tourist destination. 2.239 meters above sea level, this site brings around 1,500 tourists each day, of which 10% are foreign, drawn by the combination of natural and cultural beauties. Tourists are charged an entrance ticket of Rp.30.000 for local tourists and Rp. 300.000 for foreign tourists. Yet, the facilities provided are the same, and foreign tourists can feel cheated. To avert this, this study suggests that additional facilities must be provided for foreign tourists and also as a method for promotion abroad. For this reason, a Luggage Tag is provided which can be a virtual tour guide with international languages based on Augmented Reality (AR). In making this product, several stages are carried out including market research conducted at the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. With this product, the higher ticket price for foreign tourists is explained in the form of a virtual tour guide facility. In addition, this product can be sold as merchandise - a suitcase tag that can still display AR even if taken away from Mount Bromo. This functions as a marketing tool, attracting further foreign tourists to Mount Bromo in the future. Keywords: Mount Bromo, Foreign Tourists, Augmented Reality, Luggage Tag

The Cenote Jennifer is an important and unique aquatic sinkhole in Cayo Coco (Jardines del Rey Tourist Destination) that has brackish to saline water. Two samplings were made in 1998 and 2009, and 4 metabolism community experiments in 2009. Some limnological parameters were measured in both samplings (temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen major ions, hydrogen sulfide, nutrients and others). Community metabolism was measured through incubated oxygen concentration in clear and dark oxygen bottles. Results showed that the sinkhole limnology depends on rainfall and light incidence year, with some stratification episodes, due to halocline or oxycline presence, rather than thermocline. The sinkhole water was oligotrophic (total nitrogen of 41.5 ± 22.2 μmol l−1 and total phosphorus of 0.3 ± 0.2 μmol l−1) and with low productivity (gross primary productivity of 63.0 mg C m−2 d−1). Anoxia and hypoxia were present at the bottom with higher levels of hydrogen sulfide, lower pH and restricted influence of the adjacent sea (2 km away). To protect the Cenote Jennifer, tourist exploitation should be avoided and more resources to ecological and morphological studies should be allocated, and eventually use this aquatic system only for specialized diving. For conservation purposes, illegal garbage disposal in the surrounding forest should end.
