The objectives of this study were to find out whether or not there was significant improvement in writing and speaking achievements of the eighth grade students of SMPN1 Jarai after they were taught by using Sociogram, to find out whether or not there was significant improvement in each aspect of writing and speaking achievements of the eighth grade students of SMPN1 Jarai after they were taught by using Sociogram, to find out whether or not there was significant difference in writing and speaking achievements between the eighth grade students of SMP 1 Jarai who were taught by using Sociogram and those who were not, and to find out the perception of the eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Jarai after they were taught by using Socoiogram. In this paper, an experimental research method with pre and post test control group design was used with 70 students as the sample divided into two groups, experimental and control group. However, only the students of the experimental group were taught by using Sociogram. The obtained data were analyzed by using t-test. The students were given questionnaire to know their perceptions. The result showed that there was a significant difference in both students? writing and speaking achievements after they were tought by using Sociogram. Furthermore, it was found that there was a significant difference in students? writing and speaking achievement between the experimental and control groups. In conclusion, Sociogram improves the students? writing and speaking achievements.

Background: Anxiolytic premedication can reduce anxiety, improving procedural tolerance, and reduce postbronchoscopic complications. There was ongoing debate about the safety of bronchoscopist-administered sedation. Alprazolam as a surgical premedication can reduce anxiety. Alprazolam can be used as an adjuvant analgesic, to reduce anxiety-related breathlessness, and to reduce coughing as adjuvant antitussive. The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of alprazolam in patients undergoing bronchoscopy. Methods: A clinical study with experimental quasi pre-post test control group design, using consecutive sampling was performed in patients with lung tumor undergoing bronchoscopy in dr.Moewardi Hospital from February to March 2019. The study subjects were divided in experimental (alprazolam) and control groups (without alprazolam). The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), VAS for pain score, modified Borg score, and VAS for cough were measured in baseline, before, and after bronchoscopy. Results: Thirty two lung subjects were included in this study. The intervention groups showed decreased HADS score pre and post bronchoscopy (6.56±2.83 and 6.88±2.63), pain VAS scores (15.00±10.95 and 9.69±11.61), cough VAS score (11.56±8.89 and 27.19±17.89), and these were different significantly compared to control group. We found decreased mean of modified Borg in the study group though they were not significant compared to the control group. Conclusion: Alprazolam controlled anxiety, coughing, and pain in patients undergoing bronchoscopy. Alprazolam minimized breathlessness after bronchoscopy. (J Respir Indo. 2019; 39(4): 245-55)

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is a global health problem, Indonesia had the second rank of the case in the world after India which is the fourth cause of death. Giving vitamin D together with anti-tuberculosis drugs can increase healing proses because vitamin D (anti-microbial immunomodulators) kills Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Objectives: This study aims to measure the effect of giving anti-tuberculosis drugs with vitamin D on changes in AFB in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods: This study was used a quasi-experiment design, pre-test and post-test control group was doing at 25th March – 25th July 2019. This research has been conducted in Pidie Regency. The intervention group (17 samples with tuberculosis drugs) was given Softgels vitamin D 5000 IU for 4 months, while the control group was only anti-tuberculosis drug therapy. The data were analyzed statistically using the Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney tests at a significance level of 95%.Results: Before the intervention, the BTA status of both the intervention and control group was similar (p= 0.061). After the intervention, there was a decrease in AFB interactions (p= 0.000). There was a decrease in the contribution of AFB in the control group before with after intervention (p= 0.000). There are those who support (p= 0.033) giving vitamin D the acceleration of pulmonary tuberculosis treatment. Conclusion: It is better to administer vitamin D to the successful treatment of pulmonary TB in patients undergoing anti-tuberculosis drug therapy.

Multi-exciter vibration test control system is the core of the multiple shaker vibration test, and multi-exciter vibration test control technology has become the hot point of vibration test field. Based on coherence principles, the coherence of two exciters control system was tested, the introduction of noise signal reduces the control coherence between the response spectrum and partial coherence between response and the corresponding drive signal. By means of increasing the coherence between drive signals, the control coherence between the response spectrum can be raised and control performance of system can be Improved. The above means could provide technical support for multi-exciter vibration test system development.

Abstak. This research is held to know the effect of using the observation method varied with LKS word square to achievement  results of student class VIII student of biology SMP Negeri 8 Mataram academic year 2011/2012. This kind of research is a experiment with posttest-only control design. The results showed that the average post-test experiment class are 77.32 they are greater than the average post-test control 70.08. Exhaustiveness studied experiment class 92% and control class 70%. Test the hypothesis with the t-test variant polled on learning outcomes (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) between classes ekeperimen and control which means that there are biological differences in learning outcomes significantly between experiment and control class. The conclusion of this research is using observation method which varied with the LKS word square is effect for the achievement of biology  student class VIII in SMP Negeri 8 Mataram academic year 2011/2012.Keywords: observation method, LKS Word Square, achievement
