Some issues of the determination of agriculture-induced nutrient load upon watercourses including nitrogen and phosphorous carryover from agricultural lands, as well as the said elements accumulation on the catchment area due to cattle-breeding development have been considered with the Kama River basin as a study case. Measures on mitigation of this load upon watercourses have been proposed.

Conhecer o clima local é um fator importante para planejar os recursos hídricos, haja vista que vários elementos meteorológicos estão inseridos no ciclo hidrológico. Nesse contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar a estimativa dos balanços hídricos climatológicos (BHC) e suas classificações segundo KÖPPEN e THORNTHWAITE & MATHER para a área da bacia do rio Uruçuí Preto na Chapada da Manabeiras, PI. Os meses de maiores insolação ocorrem entre maio a outubro com flutuações variando de 223,0 a 297,1 horas e décimos. A umidade relativa do ar oscila entre 60 a 80% nos meses de novembro a maio. A retirada de água na área da bacia hidrográfica do rio Uruçuí Preto ocorrem nos meses de agosto a janeiro, as deficiências hídricas ocorrem entre os meses de outubro a janeiro, a reposição das águas acontecem nos meses de fevereiro e março e os excedentes hídricos ocorrem entre os meses de abril a julho, desta forma conclui-se que a comunidade ribeirinha utiliza-se de sistema de irrigação nas atividades agrícolas independente dos períodos seco ou chuvoso. Knowing the local climate is an important factor to consider water resources, considering that various meteorological elements are embedded in the hydrological cycle. In this context, the aim of this work is to evaluate the estimation of climatological water balance (BHC) and their classifications on KÖPPEN and THORNTHWAITE & MATHER to the area of the river basin on Uruçuí Preto Chapada da Manabeiras, PI. The months of greatest insolation occur between May to October with fluctuations ranging from 223.0 to 297.1 hours and tenths. The relative humidity ranges from 60-80% in the months from November to May. The withdrawal of water in the catchment area of the River Uruçuí Preto occur in the months from August to January, water deficit occur between the months from October to January, the replacement of water occur in the months of February and March and water surpluses occur between the months from April to July. thus concludes that the riverside community makes use of the irrigation system in agricultural activities independent of the dry or rainy. ANÁLISE DO USO INADEQUADO DA TERRA ATRAVÉS DO SIG-IDRISI  Sérgio Campos; Cristiane Lopes da Silva; Thiago Godinho dos Santos; Edson Luís PiroliDepartamento de Engenharia Rural – Faculdade de Ciências Agronômicas, Universidade Estadual de São Paulo, Botucatu, SP,  [email protected]  1 RESUMO Este trabalho visou analisar o uso inadequado da terra através do SIG-IDRISI na bacia do Rio Capivara - Botucatu (SP), compreendida entre as coordenadas geográficas 22039’36” a 22057’39” S e 48017’ 34” a 480 29’ 36”  W Gr., com uma área de 21.912,5 ha.  O  SIG - IDRISI foi eficiente e rápido  na identificação, mapeamento e determinação dos usos da terra: reflorestamento, pastagens, solo exposto, uso agrícola, capoeiras e matas.  As imagens do satélite LANDSAT 5 forneceram um excelente banco de dados para a classificação supervisionada e futuros planejamentos e gerenciamento das atividades agropecuárias.  As pastagens vêm sendo utilizadas inadequadamente nas classes III e VIII, bem como o uso agrícola em todas as classes, com exceção da classe III.  A subclasse VIIIe, a mais problemática, apresenta-se coberta com mais de 56,54% de áreas conflitantes.  As áreas de conflitos das classes IV e VI poderão ser usadas adequadamente com pastagens, bem como as da classe III por culturas, sendo opções de retorno econômico para o agropecuarista.As classes com uso agrícola e pastagem predominaram em 58,17% da bacia, mostrando o domínio da agropecuária.  A preservação ambiental vem ocorrendo na bacia, pois se apresenta coberta com 29,58% de matas e  capoeiras . UNITERMOS: Ocupação do solo, uso da terra  CAMPOS, S., SILVA, C.L., SANTOS, T.G. ANALYSIS OF THE INADEQUATE SOIL USE THROUGH OF THE GIS-IDRISI  2 SUMMARY This study aimed to analyse of the inadequate soil use through of the GIS-IDRISI in the  Capivara River basin - Botucatu (SP), between the geographical coordinates 22o  42’ to 22o 56’ S and 48o 20’ to 48o 22’ W Gr., it comes with an area of 21.912,5 ha.  GIS - IDRISI was efficient and fast for identification, survey and determination of the soil: reforestation, pastures, exposed soil, agricultural use, brushwood and forests.  The images of the satellite LANDSAT 5 supplied an excellent database for the supervised classification, future plannings and managing of the agricultural activities.  The pastures has been inadequately use in the classes III and VIII, as well as the agricultural use in all the classes, except for the class III.  The subclass VIIIe, the most problem, is covered with 56,54% of conflict areas.  The classes with agricultural use and pasture prevailed in 58,17% of the basin, mainly agricultural use.  The environmental preservation is occurring in the basin, because it is covered with forests and brushwood (29,58%).   The conflict areas will can been adequately use in the classes IV and VI with pastures, as well as the culture uses  in the class III, being option of economical investment for the agriculture and cattle-raising. KEYWORDS: Soil occupation, soil use

Abstract This is one of the first studies carried out over three climatic seasons on the determination of ibuprofen and diclofenac, in the main rivers of Colombia and striped catfish Pseudoplatystoma magdaleniatum. Determination of water concentrations was carried out using SPE extraction, while for the analysis of the muscular tissue the extraction was carried out by QuEChERS. For both matrices, quantification was done by UHPLC-MS/MS. No levels of ibuprofen or diclofenac concentrations were found in muscle tissue of Pseudoplatystoma magdaleniatum, in any season or sampling site, during the two years of sampling. In some sampling sites, concentrations of up to 75 µg/L of diclofenac were detected, corresponding to the sampling carried out in the dry season, being the highest reported so far in surface waters, possibly generated by large concentrations of population or agricultural activities. On the other hand, for ibuprofen, no concentrations above the limit of quantification (0.50 µg/L) were found in the waters of the Cauca and Magdalena rivers, for any season and sampling site.

ABSTRACT The spatial analysis of watersheds, as well as the evaluation off the changes occurring in their catchment area along the time are essential for the qualification of environmental changes. This study aims to characterize morphometrically the Pardo river watershed, as well as to evaluate the changes in soil use and occupation occurring between 2001 and 2016. The morphometric analysis consisted of the determination of the geometric parameters, relief information and drainage network using Geographic Information Systems. The land use and occupation information was collected through data from the online mapping platform of the Brazilian Mapping and Land Use Mapping (MapBiomas). According to the results, morphometry indicated that the watershed has low propensity to flood occurrence and tendency to conservation; great part of its area is between 600 and 1000 m of altitude, with predominance of undulating and soft-undulating slopes. The analysis of land use and occupation showed that the area devoted to agricultural activities increased during the period evaluated and occupies most of the basin, while the area of ??forests was reduced, the second in size, and these two classes occupy more than 96 % of catchment area.

<p>Some areas in the city of Bandung is an area that dilitasi by the flow of the river, to prevent the introduction of garbage into the river basin is necessary to note the waste management systems in residential areas along the river. Cidurian river has a length of 24.86 Km along the river flow. Consists of the city of Bandung and Bandung regency. Administrative regions Cidurian River past eight (8) districts, from the region in the District Kiaracondong precisely Village Babakan Babakan Sari and Surabaya populous and the most densely populated. Thus, there should be community-based waste management in the form of a reduction in resources to prevent potential entry of waste into the river basin. Planning waste reduction will be divided into two, namely the reduction of inorganic waste with waste bank then the reduction of organic waste with absorption holes biopori, and bio reactor mini determination of the reduction is determined by the results of the analysis of the sampling covers the composition and garbage, then the result of the measurement characteristics test and analysis results questionnaire.</p>
