Objective - The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) No.8 adopted in Indonesian GAAP (Statement No. 5, 2012) requires a company to provide a reconciliation of the total of the reportable segments' profit or loss of the firm's profit or loss. The objective of this standard is to improve the value relevance of information in the financial statement. This study aims to investigate the value relevance of the segment reconciliation and the determinants of segment income dissimilarity, i.e. agency cost, proprietary cost, and audit quality. Methodology/Technique - Data used in this study was a secondary data obtained from 142 manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2009 to 2013. Purposive sampling method yielded 59 firms. Two research models were used to test proposed hypotheses. Findings - The results show reconciliation of total of segments' profit or loss of the firms' profit or loss positively affects the market value of equity; this means segments' reconciliation disclosure has value relevance for the investment decisions. In addition, this paper provides evidence that audit quality negatively affects the segment income dissimilarity, while agency cost and proprietary cost have no effect. This is consistent with hypothesis that firms audited by the Big Four tend to avoid disclosure of dissimilarity between firms profit or loss and segment profit or loss. Novelty - Our findings show that audit quality (Big 4 accounting firms) plays an important role in reducing dissimilarity between the sum of segment profit and firm profit (segment profit dissimilarity) Type of Paper: Empirical Keywords: Segment Reconciliation; Value Relevance; Agency Cost; Proprietary Cost; Audit Quality. JEL Classification: M41, M42.

This study aims to examine the effect of company size, company age, public ownership, and audit quality toward Internet financial reporting on companies listed in Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). This study uses secondary data from the financial statements issued by each company for the period 2015 and a report published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Logistic regression analysis model is used to analyze the data. The result of the research shows that IFR is influenced positively and significantly by company size, company age and public ownership indicating that the higher company size, company age and public ownership of a company, the higher the company's opportunity to do IFR. Meanwhile, IFR is influenced positively but not significant by audit quality, this because there are 60 companies that audited by non big ten accounting firms but doing IFR and there are 12 companies that audited by big ten accounting firms but not doing IFR. The influence of the four variables on IFR is 67,8%.

This research focus to investigate the effect of audit quality and financial constraint on the complementary level of financial and tax reporting aggressiveness. This research uses binary logistic regression to investigate the effect of audit quality and financial constraint on the complementary level of financial and tax reporting aggressiveness with a sample of 147 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017-2019. This research found that companies with good audit quality have a complementary level of financial and tax reporting aggressiveness that tends to be below. Also, companies that face financial constraints have a higher complementary level of financial reporting and tax aggressiveness. This study presents empirical evidence that supports the view of audit quality and financial constraint’s impact on the complementary level of financial and tax aggressiveness. Although there are many studies that discuss the relationship between financial and tax aggressiveness, there are still few studies that contribute to examine the determinants of the complementary level of financial and tax reporting aggressiveness in Indonesia.
