In the work, an economic and mathematical model is formed for the problem of determining the optimal plan for production, transportation and processing of products according to the criterion of the minimum total costs. The functions that determine the dependence of the cost of manufactured products on the volume of production and the costs of processing products are linear, and the function that determines the dependence of transport costs on the volume of transported products is discontinuous at zero. Sufficient conditions for the applicability of the method of sequential calculations to the formulated problem are proved.

Under the conditions of a combined mining system overburden is developed using a transport and non-transport technologies, specific costs for non-transport technology are lower than transport costs. The change in the non-transport bench height led to the redistribution of the volumes of transport and non-transport overburden. With an increase in the volume of non-transport overburden, the share of more expensive transport overburden is decreases, while the technical and economic indicators of the non-transport zone deteriorate due to an increase in re-excavation volumes. The change in the non-transport bench height affects the recasting ratio and the annual advance coal face line, which determine the cost of developing the overburden. This article presents the results of a study of the laws of change in the recasting ratio and the annual advance coal face line, depending on the non-transport bench height within a combined mining system of flat seam. The obtained patterns were established as a result of solving problems of substantiating typical excavation schemes of the direct dumping method and developing a mathematical model for identifying excavation schemes with the subsequent calculation of their technological indicators.

The competitiveness of each product mostly depends on its price, which includes transport costs from the place of its production to the place of its consumption. Sometimes these costs can be comparable the cost of production. Due to the high transport costs, the competitiveness of the manufactured products decreases, not only on the domestic but also on the foreign market. Substantial part of the freight transport nationwide is carried out by trucks owned by the manufacturing companies. They transport goods needed for their production needs with their own transport and at their own expense. At the same time, the operational planning of such shipments has been insufficiently studied, in which a large number of factors of technological and organizational nature must be taken into account. Operational planning has a significant potential for reducing transportation costs. The article considers the possibility to increase the efficiency of own-account transport at the stage of operational planning.

The problem of optimal portfolio of purchase of products (services) at the enterprises from many possible ones is considered. In this setting, the problem is explored and solved for the first time using a simulation tool. A mathematical model of the problem is built and an algorithm for its solution is developed. When building a mathematical model, the following parameters are taken into account: the number of types of products / services purchased; the number of enterprises that produce the required products; the need for products of a certain type; the cost of manufacturing a unit of production of each type at each enterprise; generalized indicator of quality of manufactured products of each type at each enterprise; index of identified comparative advantages in the manufacture of products j-th enterprise; the general budget of funds allocated for the purchase of products (financing the manufacture of products). The developed mathematical model makes it possible to find the optimal result of distribution of the required volume of orders (purchases) of each type of products at different enterprises (or at one enterprise), which provides the maximum offered level of product quality, and product purchase costs do not exceed the planned level. To illustrate the results of the developed algorithm, the example shows the search for the best option for purchasing products of four types (meeting a specific need) at each of the five companies offering these types of products. The proposed algorithm is of interest for practical application, makes it possible to determine the optimal portfolio of purchases of products (semi-finished products, parts), to solve the problem of optimal "package" purchases / orders. It is advisable to use it in private business, in enterprises of various spheres of activity and forms of ownership, as well as at the macro level of the economy, in particular, in the process of finding optimal options for government programs.

The article presents a special modification of the EOQ formula and its application to the accounting of the cargo capacity factor for the relevant procedures for optimizing deliveries when renting storage facilities. The specified development will allow managers to take into account the following process specifics in the format of a simulated supply chain when managing inventory. First of all, it will allow considering the most important factor of cargo capacity when optimizing stocks. Moreover, this formula will make it possible to find the optimal strategy for the supply of goods if, also, it is necessary to take into account the combined effect of several factors necessary for practice, which will undoubtedly affect decision-making procedures. Here we are talking about the need for additional consideration of the following essential attributes of the simulated cash flow of the supply chain: 1) time value of money; 2) deferral of payment of the cost of the order; 3) pre-agreed allowable delays in the receipt of revenue from goods sold. Developed analysis and optimization procedures have been implemented to models of this type that are interesting and important for a business. This — inventory management systems, the format of which is related to the special concept of efficient supply. We are talking about models where the presence of the specified delays for the outgoing cash flows allows you to pay for the order and the corresponding costs of the supply chain from the corresponding revenue on the re-order interval. Accordingly, the necessary and sufficient conditions are established based on which managers will be able to identify models of the specified type. The purpose of the article is to draw the attention of managers to real opportunities to improve the efficiency of inventory management systems by taking into account these factors for a simulated supply chain.

The article considers the problem of determining the rational plans of the input sampling reliability and technical parameters of components of space technology, the totality of which is supplied to the Assembly plants for the manufacture of complex products of space technology. Problem statement and mathematical model based on the minimization of the economic costs of control and losses related to the risks of taking wrong decisions, are given in the article. The properties of the mathematical models are investigated, the algorithm for its optimization is developed. The result is an optimal plan for the sampling of sets of components, which includes: an optimal product mix subject to mandatory control of the aggregate and optimum risks of first and second kind, when acceptance number of statistical plan is zero. The latter circumstance is due to the high requirements of reliability and technical parameters of products of space technology.

In this study, two operational methodologies to extract thinned woods were investigated in the Nasunogahara area, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Methodology one included manual extraction and light truck transportation. Methodology two included mini-forwarder forwarding and four-ton truck transportation. Furthermore, a newly introduced chipper was investigated. As a result, costs of manual extractions within 10 m and 20 m were JPY942/m3 and JPY1040/m3, respectively. On the other hand, the forwarding cost of the mini-forwarder was JPY499/m3, which was significantly lower than the cost of manual extractions. Transportation costs with light trucks and four-ton trucks were JPY7224/m3 and JPY1298/m3, respectively, with 28 km transportation distances. Chipping operation costs were JPY1036/m3 and JPY1160/m3 with three and two persons, respectively. Finally, the total costs of methodologies one and two from extraction within 20 m to chipping were estimated as JPY9300/m3 and JPY2833/m3, respectively, with 28 km transportation distances and three-person chipping operations (EUR1 = JPY126, as of 12 August 2020).

Items supplies planning of a logistic system is one of the major issue in operations research. In this article the aim is to determine how much of each item per month from each supplier logistics system requirements must be provided. To do this, a novel multi objective mixed integer programming mathematical model is offered for the first time. Since in logistics system, delivery on time is very important, the first objective is minimization of time in delivery on time costs (including lack and maintenance costs) and the cost of purchasing logistics system. The second objective function is minimization of the transportation supplier costs. Solving the mathematical model shows how to use the Multiple Objective Decision Making (MODM) can provide the ensuring policy and transportation logistics needed items. This model is solved with CPLEX and computational results show the effectiveness of the proposed model.

In spatial economics, the distribution of wages is described by a solution to the wage equation of Dixit-Stiglitz-Krugman model. The wage equation is a discrete equation that has a double nonlinear singular structure in the sense that the equation contains a discrete nonlinear operator whose kernel itself is expressed by another discrete nonlinear operator with a singularity. In this article, no restrictions are imposed on the maximum of transport costs of the model and on the number of regions where economic activities are conducted. Applying Brouwer fixed point theorem to this discrete double nonlinear singular operator, we prove sufficient conditions for the wage equation to have a solution and a unique one.
