According to UNAIDS until 2018, there are around 690 thousand people with HIV in Indonesia. Until now HIV is a virus that is slow to diagnose, but there are ways that can be used to diagnose the HIV virus. One way to find out whether someone is infected or not is by taking HIV test accompanied by counseling in the clinic (Voluntary HIV Counseling and Testing). Prospective patients feel ashamed during the initial diagnosis of a health examination. To solve these problems, it is necessary to build a system capable to diagnose HIV / AIDS using the best first search algorithm. The result of this study is to be able to facilitate patients checking their health by computerization easily, quickly and precisely, especially about HIV AIDS. Based on the system evaluation of the respondents, RK test results are obtained from the convenient use of the HIV expert system application that has a value of 3.72 with the title of satisfaction. the RK test results from the benefits of using the HIV expert system application has a value of 3.96 with the title of satisfaction.

Objectives. The goals of this research were to evaluate perceptions of staff about the effectiveness of methods used by eight community-based organizations (CBOs) to implement human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) counseling and rapid testing in community and outreach settings in seven U.S. cities, and to identify operational challenges. Methods. A survey was administered to CBO staff to determine their perceptions about the effectiveness of methods used to select testing venues, promote their testing programs, recruit people for testing, provide test results, and link HIV-positive people to health care. Using a Likert scale, respondents rated the effectiveness of methods, their agreement with statements about using mobile testing units (MTUs) and rapid HIV test kits, and operational challenges. Results. Most respondents perceived the methods they used for selecting testing venues, and particularly using recommendations from people receiving testing, to be effective. Most respondents also thought their promotional activities were effective. Respondents believed that using MTUs improved their capacity to reach high-risk individuals, but that MTUs were associated with substantial challenges (e.g., costs to purchase and maintain them). Programmatic challenges included training staff to provide counseling and testing, locating and providing confirmatory test results to people with reactive rapid tests, and sustaining testing programs. Conclusions. CBO staff thought the methods used to select venues for HIV testing were effective and that using MTUs increased their ability to provide testing to high-risk individuals. However, using MTUs was expensive and posed logistical difficulties. CBOs planning to implement similar programs should take these findings into consideration and pay particular attention to training needs and program sustainability.

An expert system can be defined as a computer software that has a knowledge base for a particular domain and uses inference reasoning resembling an expert in solving a problem. Expert System to diagnose bird flu disease to discuss about how to create an expert system application that if able to diagnose bird flu disease and provide solutions of the disease. Where the expert system when associated with the ability of doctors in the early mediagnosa patient health conditions, can be created a computer system that is tasked to know and analyze the symptoms of illness suffered by patients to then provide direct advice to these patients. Inference technique that is done is forward tracking (forward chaining) with the method of search (Best First Search).

Background : An estimated 2.47 million (2.0-3.1 million) people were living with HIV/AIDS in India by the end of 2006. Among those HIV infected individuals, TB was the commonest opportunistic infection and leading cause of mortality. HIV infection makes a person susceptible to both pulmonary and extra pulmonary forms of TB. Various studies have documented the occurrence of TB from 46 to 65 percent. However, provision of HIV screening services for Tuberculosis out patient attendees is limited at present. Aims : To study feasibility of counseling for HIV screening and document the prevalence of HIV among TB out patient attendees. Methods : This prospective explorative study included persons who sought TB screening at TB unit, Madurai from Jan 2003- Feb 2004. An interview schedule was developed to obtain information on socio-demographic profi le, risk behavior profi le and test results. Information collected includes socio-demographic profile, risk behavior profi le and reaction to test results. Univariata and bivariate analyses were performed using Epi-info 6.04 (CDC, Atlanta, GA, July 1996). Chi-square test, student "t" test and one way ANOVA tests were performed to establish statistical signifi cance between dependent and independent variables Results : This study has found 57.66% chest symptomatic attending TB out patient ward were HIV positive. An analysis of risk profile versus positive results showed that 47(n=75) and 48(n=90) who admitted and denied high-risk behavior respectively, found to be positive to HIV screening test. Conclusion : The researchers suggest that HIV counseling and testing services can be offered to all chest symptomatic attending TB out patient ward. This structural change will make HIV screening more effective and benefi cial to patient community by ensuring early detection HIV infection. DOI: 10.3126/saarctb.v6i1.3060 SAARC J. Tuber. Lung Dis. Objective. We determined the demographic and HIV test characteristics of tests conducted in CDC-funded sexually transmitted disease (STD) clinics with provision of test results and posttest counseling. Methods. We used CDC's HIV Counseling and Testing System data from 2007 for the 24 U.S. health departments that reported test-level data from STD clinics. We calculated and analyzed newly identified HIV positivity and the percentage of tests with provision of test results and posttest counseling (provision of posttest counseling), by demographic and HIV-related characteristics. Results. Of 372,757 tests conducted among people without a previous HIV diagnosis by self-report, provision of posttest counseling was documented for 191,582 (51.4%) HIV tests overall and 1,922 (71.2%) newly identified HIV-positive test results. At these STD clinics, provision of posttest counseling varied by HIV serostatus, age, race/ethnicity, test type, and risk category; however, documentation of posttest counseling was missing for more than 20% of tests. The newly identified HIV positivity among all testers was 0.7%. Conclusions. One of the main goals of HIV counseling and testing is to inform people of their HIV status, because knowledge of one's HIV-positive serostatus can result in a reduction in risk behaviors and allow the person to access HIV medical care and treatment. STD clinics offering HIV testing may need to further their emphasis on increasing the proportion of clients who are provided posttest counseling and on improving documentation of this information.

Chili plants have a lot of pest and disease attacks. Pest and disease attacks potentially reduce the production of chilli and even cause crop failure. In addition, the limited number of extension workers and the lack of knowledge of practitioners / chili farmers inhibits efforts to control pests and diseases of chili plants. Therefore, the authors propose an expert system to diagnose pests and diseases in large chili plants using the Certainty Factor method. The Certainty Factor method is used to perform calculations by providing an expert's level of confidence. Expert systems relate symptoms and diseases as well as pest and disease control solutions of large chili plants. The data were obtained based on interviews with experts at the Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement (OISCA) Training Center Karanganyar. The data obtained was analyzed and expert system design application was made using UML diagram. The design is continued with the implementation of expert system application into PHP programming and MySQL database. The test results show that the system can diagnose pests and diseases of large chili plants like an expert. Keyword: certainty factor, expert system, pest and disease, large chili plant (Capsicum Annuum Longum).

In Islamic law, the division of inheritance according to the provisions of Islamic rule is an obligation. It is encouraged to immediately  distribute inheritance without delaying. The manual process of dividing inheritance according to islamic law requires a lot of time and expertise, which is not everyone capable of. So there is a need for providing an expert system for dividing inheritance according to Islamic law that can help people to hasten the implementation of Islamic sharia in distributing inheritance. This expert system is a web-based system. Transformation of expertise knowledge in this expert system uses forward chaining method with best first search algorithm. The result of the consultation on this expert systemconsist of the complete profile data of the deceased, the blocked-heirs, the portion for each heir and the portion of the inheritance for each heir.
