KOMPARASI KINERJA KEUANGAN MELALUI PENDEKATAN ECONOMIC VALUE ADDED (EVA) PADA PERUSAHAAN TRANSPORTASI DI JAKARTA

This study aims to compare financial performance through profitability generated by two market participants in the witness transportation service industry in Jakarta, namely PT. BB compared to PT. ETU, this assessment is measured not limited to the profit generated but more than that by measuring financial added value through the concept of Eonomic Value Added produced by the two companies. The population in this study were all taxi transportation service companies in Jakarta. The sampling method selected two taxi companies that have the largest market share in DKI Jakarta, namely BB Taxi and ETU Taxi. The test analysis used in this study is ratio analysis through profit calculation and economic added value from the annual income statement. This study shows that there are (a) determination of the ratio of profit levels, (b) Determination of the comparison of economic value added of the two companies. This study aims to determine (a) What degree of financial performance of Islamic Banking through EVA approach with samples of the two largest Islamic banks, namely PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri and PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia, and (b) how the competition level of return on investment returns through the value of EVA in two of the company's competitors. The population in this study were all Islamic banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Test analysis used in this study is to test the calculation of economic value added. This study shows that (a) The level of financial performance that has economic value to the PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri and (b) the level of financial performance that has economic value to the PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia. In addition, the competition level of return on investment to the two banks showed that each bank is able to provide economic added value for its stakeholders with the same degree of movement. This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT. Fast Food Indonesia in 2013-2017 with the approach of Economic Value Added (EVA). This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with quantitative data types, because this study examines a case at PT. Fast Food Indonesia Tbk which is carried out intensively, deeply and comprehensively. The research analysis of financial performance of PT. Fast Food Indonesia, produces EVA> 0 (positive value), this can be said that the company has good financial performance. However, when viewed from the accumulation of calculation data from the 2013-2017 period, the EVA value fluctuated quite significantly and tended to decline, but it still could produce economic added value.

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT. Bumi Sarana Utama during 2015 to 2019 using the method Economic Value Added (EVA). Data collection used using documentation techniques. The results showed that the value of the Economic Value Added (EVA) of PT. Bumi Sarana Utama during 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019 was negative (EVA < 0) which means the company is not able to provide or generate economic added value in its operational activities. Even though they had a positive value in 2017, they could no longer maintain this condition in 2018 and 2019. This was due to a consistent decline in operating profit (NOPAT) and changes in the capital structure whose value fluctuated and tended to decline as a result of the changing urgency of asphalt demand. to the concrete and make the EVA value of PT. Bumi Sarana Utama continues to have a negative trend.

Background – Financial performance is a company's work performance that has been achieved in a certain period and can be seen in the financial statements of the company concerned. Financial statement analysis using conventional methods is often used by companies to measure their financial performance, namely financial ratio analysis. PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk, must have the option to create value added or large profits and create or add value to the capital that has been donated to meet the assumptions for financial backers (financial backers or investors). Purpose – Measure financial performance with Economic Value Added (EVA), Financial Value Added (FVA) and Market Value Added (MVA). Design/ Methodology/ Approach – This is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Sources of data in this study using external secondary data sources obtained through literature study which is arranged in the form of documents in the form of financial reports. The analysis technique in this study uses Time Series Analysis. Results and Discussion - EVA measurement with a time series approach from 2015-2019 the average EVA is -25,291,800.85, this indicates that the company has not been able to provide added value to shareholders because EVA is negative (EVA<0) so it is said to perform Not Good. Measurement of FVA with a time series approach from 2015-2019 the average FVA is 21,359,193.35, this indicates that the company is able to provide added financial value for companies and investors because the FVA value is Positive (FVA> 0) so it is said to be performing well . MVA measurement with a time series approach from 2015-2019 the average MVA is 9,019.927,024,116, this indicates that the company is able to provide added value because the MVA value is Positive (MVA> 0) so it is said to be performing well. Conclusion – EVA, FVA, and MVA values ​​in 2015 were positive, in 2016 EVA and FVA were negative while MVA was positive, in 2017 EVA was negative while FVA and MVA were positive, in 2018 EVA was negative, FVA and MVA were positive, in 2018 2019 EVA, FVA, and MVA are positive. Research Implications - The research results in this study can be considered by the management of PT Garuda Indonesia in assessing and evaluating the company's financial performance.

This study sample aims to measure the financial performance of PT. Behin Karya in 2015-2019 using the economic value added (EVA) method. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is the financial statements of PT. Behin Karya 2015-2019. This study’s sample is the company's financial statements, especially the balance sheet and income statement. The results showed that the overall financial performance of PT. Behin Karya, using the Economic Value Added (EVA) method is excelent, because it has succeeded in achieving a positive value, despite fluctuating. This is because the operating profit generated by the company in 2015-2019 is very high so that it can be compared between the capital charges value and the NOPAT value that the NOPAT value is higher than the capital charges value. Keywords: financial performance; economic value added (EVA)

This study aims to determine the financial performance of mining sector companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index based on EVA (Economic Value Added) analysis. The research conducted is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach using secondary data from 2014 to 2018 obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and companies that are the object of research. The study population is all mining sector companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index while the sample uses a purposive sampling method with the sample taken is the mining sector companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index in the June-November 2019 period. Data analysis starts from the calculation of net operating profit after taxes, weighted average capital costs, invested capital, costs of capital and finally calculating EVA values from 2014 to 2018. The results show that the financial performance of mining companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index is well indicated by positive EVA values so it can be concluded that the management of the company has been able to provide added value to shareholders and investors.Keywords:Cost of Capital, EVA, Weighted Average Cost Of Capital

<em>Oil and gas are non-renewable natural resources, whick means they can be exhausted within a certain periode of time, if no new reserves of oil and natural gas resources are found. Energy, especially oil and gas, is very limited amount, but the world’s needs for oil and gas are currently increasing, so making investments in the oil and gas mining subsector will be an attractive choice for investors. World demand of oil and gas increases, while the limited its availability in each country has caused fluctuations in its exports and imports. They face a difficult assessment of the company performance in this subsector. Therefore, we need an analysis of the financial performance in oil and gas mining subsector companies as a tool to assess how the performance of the in this area. Economic value-added (EVA) method is one of the right measurement tools to assess the performance of companies in the mining sector. The aim of this study is to determine the financial performance of companies by using the EVA (economic value-added) method in the oil and gas subsector companies listed on the ISSI (Indonesian Sharia Stock Index) in period 2013-2017. The calculation of EVA value of a company is preceded by determining the value of Net Operating Profit After Tax (NOPAT), Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC), capital charges (CC), and invested capital (IC) from data that has been collected in the secondary sources. Four companies in oil and gas mining subsector listed on the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) were analyzed in this research. The results showed that two companies have positive EVA, while rest of two companies have positive and negatif EVA in certain years. A positive EVA means that there is an economic added-value to the company.</em>

Economic Value Added (EVA) and the Financial Value Added (FVA) are the concept of management performance assessment based on the size of the added value which is created by the company during the specified period. EVA measures the economic profit of the company taking into account the cost of capital, whereas FVA earnings measure taking into account the contribution of fixed assets in generating net profits of the company. The study aims to determine the ratio of Economic Value Added (EVA) and the Financial Value Added (FVA) as a measurement of financial performance assessment on the industrial estates listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2004 to 2009. The method used a descriptive analysis method using time series data. The results of this study indicated that companies using EVA to create economic value and have a good financial performance from 2004 until 2009. While using the FVA, the company is also able to create a positive financial value of good financial performance from 2004 until 2009. The results also show that there are significantly differences between the EVA and the FVA for the period 2004 to 2009.

Adapun tujuan penulis melakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan perusahaan dengan menggunakan metode EVA menunjukkan perkembangan positif atau negatif pada periode 2014 – 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode analisis data dalam bentuk angka yang kemudian dideskripsikan sebab akibat terjadinya variabel penelitian tersebut. Hasil analisis metode EVA untuk mengukur kinerja keuangan menunjukkan perkembangan yang positif dalam waktu 3 tahun yakni EVA &gt; dari 0, maka telah terjadi nilai tambah ekonomis dan kinerja keuangan perusahaan dapat dikatakan baik.</p><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><strong>Kata Kunci : <em>Economic Value Added</em>, Kinerja Keuangan</strong>
