The objective to be achieved in this study is to determine the activity, response and improvement of student learning outcomes in class VII One Roofing 1 Camplong Middle School on rectangular and triangular material. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) and is carried out over two cycles with each through several stages, namely planing, action, observation / evaluation, and reflection. Researchers use the method of observation to determine student activity, a questionnaire to determine student responses, and tests to determine student learning outcomes. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that student activity has increased by 0.4, namely in cycle I amounted to 3.2 and in cycle II amounted to 3.6 while student responses were positive by obtaining an average in cycle I of 77% and in the second cycle by 79%. Then based on test results on average - an individual has increased by 5 where in the first cycle amounted to 70 and in the second cycle amounted to 75. While in classical also an increase, where in the first cycle reached 49% and in the second cycle reached 86.48%. So, student learning outcomes classically from cycle I to cycle II increased by 37.48%.

The material the area and volume of curved space includes geometry subject matter. The fact found that the learning outcomes of class IX A students of SMP Negeri 1 Wanaraya, Barito Kuala in Mathematics are still low. The average score obtained by students is 59. While the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) is set >70. At least 80% of students scored >70 in Mathematics. To improve student learning outcomes on the material, classroom action research was carried out by applying the Think Pair Share learning model. This study aims to increase student activity, teacher activity in learning, student responses to Think Pair Share learning and student learning outcomes in terms of area and volume of curved spaces. The research was carried out according to the Classroom Action Research procedure, starting with planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection was carried out with tests and observations of 22 class IX A students in the odd semester of the 2018/2019. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Cycle I consisted of 2 meetings. Cycle II consisted of 2 meetings. The results showed that the Think Pair Share learning model could improve student activities, teachers, and student learning outcomes. In the first cycle of student activity obtained 85.5%, teacher activity obtained 89.6%, student learning outcomes based on classical completeness 95.5% and student responses to learning obtained 94.2%. In Cycle II student activity was obtained 82.1%, teacher activity obtained 89.6%, student learning outcomes based on classical completeness 90.9% and student responses to learning obtained 95.1%

Improving Students' Learning Outcomes on Social Arithmetic Material Through Teams Games Tournament Learning Model. This study aims to describe the TGT learning steps that can improve the learning outcomes of social arithmetic material in class VII of PGRI 01 Singosari Middle School. This research is qualitative research with a type of classroom action research (CAR). Data sources were students of class VII D SMP PGRI 01 Singosari as many as 27 students. The procedure for collecting data in this study are (1) Observation, (2) Tests, and (3) Documentation. Stages of data analysis include reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Examination of the validity of the data used includes (1) persistence of observation, (2) triangulation, and (3) peer examination. The results of the study showed an increase in teacher and student activity from pre-action to action I and action II. The observation results of teacher activities in action I reached a percentage of 86.23%, in action II, it increased to 95.45% with a very good category. Furthermore, the observation results of student activities in action I reached a percentage of 79.3% and in action II, it increased to 91.73%. The percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in pre-action was 40.74%, the percentage of completeness of action I was 66.67%, and the percentage of completeness of action II was 85.18%. Thus the increase in learning outcomes from the action I to action II is 18.51%.
