Trust is one of the most important factors in building effective and long-lasting relationships in the entire healthcare sector. Trust becomes a valuable ally in situations of high risk and uncertainty as well as the increasing complexity of tasks that accompany the daily work of all medical professionals, especially paramedics, due to the nature of their work in the medical rescue system. Mutual trust is the basis of social capital thanks to which it is possible to achieve mutual benefits, easier to coordinate activities, create new quality and solutions through cooperation or strong ties. It is a kind of glue that binds various organizational and system links, thanks to which it is easier to plan and introduce necessary improvements and changes within individual medical units or the entire health care system. The high degree of trust increases the quality of clinical communication with the patient and the effectiveness of medical care and strengthens the employees’ motivation and willingness to cooperate. Creating social capital based on trust is in the interest of all internal and external stakeholders of the entire health care system, thanks to which joint, cross-sectoral projects for health in the public dimension are possible. The aim of the article was, on the one hand, to systematize the theoretical and practical knowledge related to the multidimensionality of trust in the health care system, but on the other, to identify and analyse the factors building trust that should be discussed and, above all, applied in everyday professional practice and social space of all employees of the health care system. with particular emphasis on paramedics.

Change is a learning process modeling the attitudes and values of the involved staff to adapt and show the change in daily work life. Leading the change in medical schools or in the health care system is considered one of the assignments of successful leadership that can achieve an effective organizational change under complex conditions. This review aims to show an implementation view about how to manage the change in medical institutions and how to overcome obstacles, and how to face the challenges. The resistance to change represents a major obstacle to the change process in any medical school or health care system. Thus, it should address this resistance by creating a suitable climate for carrying out the change based on a flexible strategy that may be translated into practical steps during the implementation. Moreover, the change should be institutionalized wherein new behaviors are persisting and generalizing in the medical school or the health care system as a result of the change application. In addition, the successful management of change in any medical school or system requires a well-functioning and efficient management system for achieving the intended results. Therefore, many benefits may be gained as a result of the success of a change process in any organization wherein it improves the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational and staff performance besides creating an opportunity for getting the best practices.

Abstract This paper describes the role of social capital in terms of stimulating activities aimed at improving health safety in times of the Covid 19 pandemic. Ensuring health safety constitutes one of the fundamental aims of every health care system, which is executed by means of multiple institutions associated with health care, as well as through collective action. Social capital stimulates collective action with the aim of stopping the spread of the pandemic. The aim of this paper is to search for ties between social capital and the spread of the pandemic in Poland. As a result of empirical research, it was established that strong social capital had a significant impact on the lower number of Covid-19 infections in provinces in Poland. Simultaneously, this impact is dependent on the level of infections in society. The greater the number of Covid-19 infections, the less social capital restricts the spread of the pandemic.

Communication and information sharing is an important aspect of healthcare information technology and mHealth management. A main requirement in the quality of patient care is the ability of all health care participants to communicate. Research illustrates that the complexity of communicating within the health care system hinders the quality of health care service delivery. Health informatics have been touted as a way to improve communication deficiencies, which has led to the exponential growth of health informatics integration. However, research still lags in understanding how health informatics affects patient care, health professional work routines, and the overall health care system. This study investigates the extent to which mHealth technologies influence communication information sharing patterns between interdisciplinary health care providers in the delivery of health care services. This study was conducted at Hamilton Health Sciences and through a sociotechnical approach, focuses on both the end user’s experiences with mHealth in daily work communication scenarios, and the extent to which mHealth use affects interdisciplinary communication. Results indicate that there are several mitigating factors which influence communication patterns using mHealth technologies, including: information sharing, mobility, ergonomic and system design.

In Japan, new developments in the field of robotics are being received with interest and enthusiasm by the population and used in everyday life. This can be explained on the one hand by a long tradition of stories that report positively on artificial servants for humans. These stories continue into modern manga comics. Robots take on positive roles, expanding the capabilities of humans and being of service to them. On the other hand, Japanese religions and philosophies such as Buddhism and Shintoism influence attitudes towards robots.

One in five Canadians suffers from some form of persistent or chronic pain. The impact on individual lives, families and friends, the health services sector and the economy is huge. Reliable evidence is available that the burden of persistent pain can be markedly reduced when available knowledge is applied. Bridging the quality chasm between chronic pain and the care process will require a unique confluence of opinion from all stakeholders committed within a focused community of practice to address the impact of pain. Various levels of success in this regard have been demonstrated when there is exchange, synthesis and ethically sound application of research findings within a complex set of interactions among researchers and knowledge users. It is now critical to accelerate the capture of the benefits of research for Canadians through improved health, more effective and responsive services and products, and a strengthened health care system to bring about health reform and health care reform across Canada as it pertains to the one in five Canadians living with chronic, disabling pain. The overarching outcome of such an initiative needs to be promoted to sustain a balanced portfolio of curiosity-and needs-based research, which along with existing knowledge, can be mobilized and applied for the benefit of Canadians, the health care system and the economy.
