Проведены исследования качества 12 образцов питьевой бутилированной воды в условиях аккредитованной испытательной лаборатории. Исследование информативности маркировки образцов воды выявило, что не все производители выполняют требования ТР ТС 022/2011. Дана оценка органолептических, физико-химических и микробиологических показателей питьевой воды. Определены критерии безвредности химического состава образцов. Исследован макро- и микроэлементный состав. Выявлена необходимость повышения степени ответственности производителей при формировании качества. The quality of 12 samples of bottled drinking water was studied in an accredited testing laboratory. The study of informative labeling of water samples revealed that not all manufacturers fulfill the requirements of TR TS 022/2011. The evaluation of organoleptic, physicochemical and microbiological indicators of drinking water is given. Criteria of harmlessness of the chemical composition of samples are defined. It is investigated macro- and microelement composition of drinking water. The necessity to increase the degree of responsibility of producers in the formation of quality is revealed.

This article aims to share the results of research conducted in the Fergana chemical plant of furan compounds (FCPFC) in Uzbekistan.19 workers of the Furan compounds plant, in Fergana, Uzbekistan, were tested. By neutron activation analysis method, we have studied microelement composition of saliva, blood, dental hard tissue, and the level of Ca, Zn, Fe, and Ag in these subjects. We havedetected that the level of chemical elements in dental hard tissue, blood, and saliva of these workers was subject to negative changes as compared to the analysis results from those in the control group.The research results havepractical value for the prophylaxis, treatment, and health resumption of the people living in rugged ecological environment and workers who are engagedwith harmful substances in chemical industry.  Furthermore,this research also provides recommendations fortreatment of dental diseases related to common conditions of pathophysiological processes carried out bylivingorganisms.

Abstract Lemon verbena (Lippia citriodora H.B.K., Verbenaceae family) is indigenous to South America and cultivated as an aromatic plant in various parts of world. Lemon thyme (Thymus citriodorus L.), Lamiaceae family, is a perennial medicinal plant native to southern Europe and is cultivated in the Mediterranean region. These species are cultivated mainly for the lemon-like aroma emitted from their leaves due to the presence of dimethyl-2,6- octadienal, also known as lemonal or citral, which is used in food and perfumery for its citrus effect. The aim of this study was to determine the mineral content and essential oil components of L. citriodora and T. citriodorus plants grown under semi-arid climatic conditions in Turkey. The aerial parts of lemon thyme and lemon verbena plants were extracted using hydrodistillation. The essential oil composition was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and the microelement contents of the herbs were examined via inductively coupled plasmaoptical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). The microelement contents were 0.249, 1.630, 16.41, 0.106, and 13.1-36.2 mg kg-1 for cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), and manganese (Mn), respectively, in lemon thyme, and 0.275, 4.584, 248.1, 15.71, and 1.803 mg kg-1 for Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, and zinc (Zn), respectively, in lemon verbena. Fifty compounds were identified in lemon verbena essential oil, including limonene (30.33%), trans-citral (17%), cis-citral (12.77%), caryophyllene oxide (5.71%), and geraniol acetate (4.02%) that together constituted 99.86% of the oil composition. We also identified 22 compounds constituting approximately 85.11% of lemon thyme essential oil, including transgeraniol (30.07%), trans-citral (15.06%), cis-citral (11.71%), cis-geraniol (7.65%), and 3-octanol (6.18%).

Abstract The aim of the study is a comprehensive assessment of the state of natural-territorial complexes of the Baikal State Natural Biosphere Reserve, including an ecological and geochemical assessment of soils, analysis of plant communities, determination of the ecological and biogeochemical features of the vegetation of the area. The distribution of mobile forms of heavy metals in the soils of the Baikal Biosphere Reserve has been studied. The coefficient of total soil pollution has been calculated. The maximum allowable concentrations exceedances for Cr, Mn, Cu and Pb were registered. Analysis of the microelement composition of the crust of Pinus sibirica showed the accumulation of Cd and Ni in relation to the Dobrovolsky clarke in all the studied areas of the reserve. Based on the studies carried out, it can be recommended to monitor the ecological state of natural territorial complexes on a regular basis on the territory of the Baikal State Biosphere Reserve.

Different environmental factors can cause changes in the elemental composition of plants. The research attempts to shift the focus from studying the effect of soil on the elemental composition of plants to assessing the impact of multifactorial ecological blocks on this index. Using the method of atomic absorption spectroscopy, the content K, Na, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Co, Li was determined in the seeds of 5 accessions of a new for Russia crop − vigna (Vigna unguiculata) when growing plants in the south of Western Siberia (54° N 83° E) and in the Crimea (44° N, 34° E)]. The Coefficient of Variation (CV) of the element contents in cowpea accessions in two regions was significant − from 14 to 53%. The highest homeostasis in the accumulation of macro- and microelements was noted in the cultivar Sibirskiy razmer (CV = 15–23%), macroelements − Vigna catjang (CV = 14%). Both accessions were characterized by a reduced accumulation of K, Na, Mg, Mn and, especially, Fe compared to other cultivars. The rest of the accessions showed a high rate of variation in the elemental composition under different conditions (CV = 29–53%). K, Mg, Ca, Zn, and Mn differed by a relatively lower variability of accumulation in cowpea seeds – both by the accessions and the regions of cultivation, while Na, Co, Li, and Cu was the highest. Cultivar Yunnanskaya had the highest rates of Ca (882–1357 mg/kg) and Fe (96–196 mg/kg) accumulation in both regions whereas accessions Krasnaya pozdniaya and Krasno-pestraya had the highest rate of Mg content − 1632–2131 and 1737–1986 mg/kg, respectively.
